They had seamlessly loaded the contents of my 650 square foot apartment including large/heavy fragile furniture with glass (8 foot tall dresser with mirror weighing 250 lbs, and 50 galloon reptile tank) in about 1 hour. We promptly left via car to meet them at our new address in Philly, and they arrived at exactly the same time as we did. They unloaded the truck in about an hour again, and helped partially unpack and put items in the proper places, especially the furniture that would have been hard for me to move on my own later. I will continue to use Piece of Cake, and have recommended to several friends over the years that I have been using them. It was quick working with the customer support team initially to quote the move, make payment, and on COIs and confirmation. When we move again in a couple years Piece of Cake will be the only mover I call. My recommendation to others considering the service, be transparent and honest about the contents of your move, especially items requiring extra protection even if there is an additional fee involved. There were no surprise add-ons in my move because we carefully selected every single item that would be included in our move early on in the process, and made sure to reply in detail to the follow up emails regarding insurance, access to the apartments (stairs vs elevator, reserved elevator, etc.), and so on move-in day everything went off without a hitch. Emily handled my concerns with professionalism, fairness, and real diligence. She could not have been nicer. But I also recognize that any business of this size can occasionally have a bad crew or a bad experience in the field. What matters is how the company responds when that happens. Here, the response after the move was excellent. Credit is due where credit is due: the post-move customer service, especially from Emily, was outstanding. So when they left the first time, l discovered my headboard was loose, which surprised me as there was no such issue in my previous residence. So l informed Allen and within a week the fellows returned to Bloomfield, New Jersey all the way from Brooklyn and attempted to tighten the headboard with unfortunately less than great success, despite much effort. It didn't occur to me until they'd left that the rails must have been reversed so yet again the gentleman returned and spent at least 45 minutes to reverse the rails with much better results. Therefore, on a scale of 1-10, a la Spinal Tap, l rate them an 11 and will not only never use another company but will sing their praises until the day l die!

The day before my son's party, I was already stressed beyond belief. I had created all of these custom items for his birthday--signs for the party, tags for the kids' goodie bags, tags for adult goodie bags, and even a little wearable necklace for him. Everything was designed, sized perfectly, high-resolution, and ready to go... or so I thought. FedEx put me through absolute hell. Back and forth, telling me the resolution was horrible, the sizing was wrong, that it couldn't be printed, then changing the story again. It became a full-on mess, and at that point I was panicking because this was the day before the party. The theme was Demon Slayer, I had put so much time and care into creating everything, and the thought of not having these pieces was really upsetting. So I went with my first instinct and went to UPS. Eyad sat down with me, pulled everything up, looked through each file, resized things perfectly, and immediately reassured me that everything looked great. He told me the resolution was fine, helped me choose the right paper, and printed everything beautifully. The paper was shiny, the colors were bright, and everything came out exactly how I envisioned it. He even made multiple copies without hesitation. What really stood out was how calm and confident he was. No attitude, no confusion, no unnecessary back-and-forth. Just, "Sure, I can do that. What size do you want? How many do you need?" And then he did it. After being told by FedEx that it couldn't be done, walking into UPS and having someone just handle it with ease was such a relief. I could literally feel my stress melting away. I really wanted to give Eyad his flowers because he absolutely saved my day. And honestly, UPS always comes through for me. Whether I need color prints, black and white, or just general help, their customer service is consistently on point. They pay attention, they know what they're talking about, and they're willing to work with you instead of making you feel like a burden. That day especially meant a lot. I waited for 20min in line for the woman at window 6 to leave her desk bc I have a service animal, then a woman at window 4 to sent me as well then I was sent to window 10 where there's clearly a sign that says no dogs and then window 11 where the Asian woman shouted "I don't usually take dogs idc if they're service animals just hurry up. You were in line a long time why aren't you ready." So disrespectful and I had a huge box I was going back and forth with from window to window and for government employees they should know the law is service animals are allowed. They act as if my dog is going to jump over the enclosed desk, break the window and attack them. Totally unacceptable behavior. First of all my dog is hypoallergenic and even if she weren't they would have no interaction with her being at an enclosed desk with a literal window between us. They all need to be retrained bc this despicable behavior and discrimination against a person with a disability. In other words this is a lawsuit and I've never experienced such treatment from the usps.
