Who wants pressure to buy at the dentist, like a used car lot? I looked up Nielson Dentistry and the reviews. People said that there was no sales pressure, and they felt very comfortable. I could not agree more. I wish I could have them clean my teeth every day. I love going to the dentist. ..it's like a tooth massage! The staff is so friendly, and always remember you. Even though I go in just twice a year for cleanings, the staff is like family. If you are nervous about the dentist, give Dr. Nielson a try. His staff will put you at ease. So will the tv you can watch on the ceiling, on any channel that suits you. They are thorough, and I always feel great afterward. I would highly recommend Nielson Dentistry, and hope he's around for a long time!

In May of 2024 I came in for an exam due to cold sensitivity and intermittent sharp pain. Dr. Nielson performed a basic root canal cold test and did X-rays and said that I was likely grinding and clenching in my sleep from stress. Over the next 4-6 weeks I continued to have intermittent, now excruciating pain. Due to being told by dentist that it was not a tooth injury, I assumed that it was not a dental issue and explored pain management at my PCP. Around 5 weeks later, out of desperation, I returned to have another look. This time, Dr. Nielson said he could see a fracture with the naked eye. I begged him to extract it that day and he placed a bone graft. At this point I was frustrated that I had been told my pain was due to stress clenching when it was the beginning of a catastrophic dental injury. Due to financial constraints, I had not paid off my balance from the bone graft that Dr. Nielson had placed when several months later I came in for additional pain in another tooth. Dr. Nielson concluded that I needed a crown and he completed the work well, with skill, and a nice bed-side manner. At this point, despite feeling that my pain had been dismissed, I was still happy with Dr. Nielson's practice. In an unfortunate turn of events, we lost our dental insurance in between the crown preparation and the crown placement, so it was no longer covered, leaving us with a $1400 bill. Dr. Nielson said that he would not treat me until that balance had been paid off, citing the delay in paying for my bone graft in a timely manner. Being low income, I set up a monthly payment plan. Regardless of having money reliably debited from my account for 12 months, Dr. Nielson would not place a crown where my extraction had been (despite me being in a temporary healing cap for over a year), nor would he allow for covered cleanings. The moment my crown and bone graft had been paid off, the front office contacted me to schedule my crown for my extracted tooth. I hesitated, due to my experience and the distance of the practice to my home, but then I began to have intermittent pain under the tooth where Dr. Nielson had placed the crown. I made an emergency appointment. When Dr. Nielson came in he was clearly irritated and made it very apparent that he was not happy to see me. He rushed through a cold test and then told me, once again, that I was stress grinding at that he could see a fracture. He attempted to end the visit and I decided to advocate for myself this time: I said something like, "The last time you told me that it was stress grinding I had a crack from my crown to my root 6 weeks later and you had to extract it. Are you sure we don't need to do anything?" He brusquely told me to buy an over the counter mouth guard and left: Three days later, I received a letter from Dr. Nielson would no longer see me due to the deterioration of the patient-doctor relationship. I do acknowledge that it took me a year to pay off a procedure, but it strikes me as irresponsible to refuse to treat someone while they are, reliably, and good faith, making monthly payment with the clear disclosure that they are low income. I also feel that this an example of woman's pain being dismissed as "dramatic" or "anxiety/stressed based" when they could truly be catastrophic dental injuries. When I advocated for my own body, I was treated with rude detachment and released from the practice. Dr. Nielson is a skilled dentist and his hygienists are friendly and thorough. However, the dismissal of my pain and the ultimate ending of being released from their care upon advocating for my own body lead me to give this practice a negative review and I especially caution women that their pain may be minimized.

Eight weeks later, I went back to complete under my bra area and mid-back. Going into it, I was honestly terrified because I'm not a fan of pain at all. But from the moment I walked in, Dr. Hall and his entire staff made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. During the procedure, I was shocked I literally felt no pain. Afterward, I went home, rested, and still had no pain just soreness. The next day was just mild soreness, easily managed with Tylenol. I was already up, walking around, and even working on my computer while following all post-op instructions. This has truly been an incredible experience. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can confidently say that Dr. Hall delivers on what he promises. When he says it's very minimal pain, he means it. And if you follow your aftercare properly, your results will reflect that. I am absolutely in love with my results and feel more confident than ever. I would do it all over again and I am! I'll be going back at the end of the year for arm Lipo. If you've been thinking about it, this is your sign!

At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn't research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately. After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant. Explant can be intimidating, as you're unsure about how much tissue you'll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery. I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen's consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision. Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome. Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift. Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses. The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I'm grateful for his kindness. Dr. Cohen's staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura). I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined--several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. Dr. Cohen is truly an artist, and I'm beyond happy with my results. My husband agrees, saying it was "money well spent!" Choose Dr. Cohen--you won't be disappointed.

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Flint four years ago and I was immediately unhappy with my…read moreresults. I mentioned how unhappy I was at every single follow-up appointment, but was gaslit out of my feelings. It is only within the past year that I've gotten around to doing revision consults with other surgeons -- all of whom were shocked at my results. Several of them made comments asking if my surgeon was new, if this was their first day, if this was their first time doing this procedure, if they just "winged it" without taking any measurements, etc. I've now had multiple other surgeons offer to do my revision for free because of how poorly my procedure was done the first time! I trusted Dr. Flint with my self-esteem, my health, and my life. I repeatedly voiced my concerns to her, and in response, I was horribly mistreated. Dr. Flint insisted that I had unrealistic expectations, that I was being difficult, and that the very obvious mistakes I was seeing were not actually there. She even went so far as to complain about me to the nurses in the hallway right outside of my room. Dr. Flint watched me cry during my follow-up appointments as I expressed how disappointed and mutilated I felt...and she had no empathy for me. She has taken absolutely no responsibility for her mistakes, nor has she made any effort to amend them. Dr. Flint was dismissive, arrogant, cold, and just mean to me from the moment I met her to our last appointment where I left crying and decided to never come back. I thought I could handle her horrible bedside manner because she seemed like a competent surgeon. But I never would've imagined I would end up like this, and dealing with Dr. Flint's contempt whilst experiencing the emotional devastation of a botched procedure made everything much, much worse. I would have more grace for her if she had met me with empathy instead of cruelty. I would not recommend Dr. Flint to anyone. If you're looking for a surgeon, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I don't think Dr. Flint deserved the trust I gave her, and I certainly don't think she deserves your trust. I'm not one to leave reviews, but after receiving confirmation from multiple other surgeons that my results were not just bad--but shockingly bad--it felt too important not to. I would hate to see anyone else suffer the way I have because of Dr. Flint.

Her work was phenomenal and I wanted the same type of results and him and his team delivered exactly that. The consultation was done over the phone where Dr. Corey talked about my preferences and he discussed what he think might be best for me based on the information I gave him. I was very open minded with what I wanted and I made sure to mention the most important things to me; upper pole fullness and closing my cleavage was my top priority and I was flexible in the sizing in order for those two priorities to be fulfilled. He recognized off the bat from the photos I sent that I had some unevenness between the girlies and made sure to even them out during the final sizing. He was on point with the final sizing and profile. Throughout the call he was extremely EASY to talk to; literally felt like speaking to a friend. Never once did I feel like the choice wasn't my own nor did I ever feel like he was trying to steer me away from my choices. Many of my friends had experiences where other doctors were trying to convince them a different profile or a bigger/smaller size (a big reason why i didn't go to other well known doctors in philadelphia and went all the way here instead). Surgery is a very high commitment and it can be uncomfortable when your doctor doesn't really respect what you want, but this WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL WITH HIM! He was super informative, very respectful, and even funny lol. Despite coming from such a long way, the process was very smooth and they communicated with me how to estimate which sizes I would like best through a process called the "rice test". Even though I was weary at first, i can say the rice test is pretty accurate now that I am post op! It helped me picked the perfect size that wasn't too big for me but still noticeable. He is amazing and well versed at his job because he was able to suggest a couple sizes for me that I probably never would have picked myself, but it ended up being exactly what I wanted after i tried those sizes during the rice test. He considered my rib cage width, my goals and was realistic. I was weary about sizing and profile types bc I didn't want to look like the letter "P" and he did amazing at suggesting the size and profile. We quickly agreed on medium and 405cc L/445cc R to balance out my unevenness. His team was very communicative and even accommodated my request for an earlier surgery date when unexpected circumstances came up and I could no longer do my original surgery date. This team made me feel so comfortable and reassured me very thoroughly, even after I expressed that I was quite nervous as I have never had a procedure done before. I was literally a mess the night before because i was so nervous but looking back it feels soooo silly bc they took care of me so flawlessly. I literally came into the surgery center scared as heck but woke up painlessly with beautiful boobies LOL. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, the doctor, everyone was so friendly and made me feel more at ease before we got started. Even the recovery process wasn't too bad, Dr. Corey outlined what to expect for the next week and he was spot on. I followed his instructions and so far have no complications a week later (but I am a post op nurse, so I may be a little more familiar with post op care than others). Make sure to follow post op care instructions his team provides in order to prevent complications and unwanted results! Once again, Dr. John J Corey is extremely comfortable to speak to and I had an AMAZING experience. I got a bilateral Transaxillary breast augmentation and i love it to much! The armpit approach gave me no visible scars and anyone I've shown so far has been super impressed! My friends have gotten it under the breast and sometimes the scarring can be dark for women of color (I am asian) so I really appreciate that he recommended this approach to me. Ask more about this approach and whether if it's a good fit for you because it is amazing. The aftercare for this site is less tedious too! I cannot recommend this doctor and his team enough! Thank you so much for giving me confidence and being so welcoming :) I cannot wait to see my final results within the next couple months and hope to be in AZ again one day to show you my results in person. Good luck with every future patient!
