I'm not really rating Cascade AC on the whole in this review but rather their policy or lack…read morethereof. I enjoy swimming and Cascade has the best pool in the area so participation here is a matter of limited selection. My problem is the lack of policy/signs/refereeing something that keeps inconsiderate lane swimmers in line. Cascade has no posted policy or signs that direct how people should behave when there are others waiting for a lane. Since there are numerous older adults that seem to have developed blindness because they don't 'see' people waiting nor do they ask anyone. Instead, they see someone getting out of the pool and head directly to the lane that just opened up simply not caring that others are waiting. Most people seem to want to avoid conflict so nothing gets said empowering those who are already feel privileged enough to just jump in. Then there's me. I will say something and I might not be nice about it because your rudeness put you in my path. So, lane cutters if you can't turn to those waiting and ask then expect to get called out or for me to jump in 'your' lane. I simply won't stand for your rude behavior or whatever excuse you have for being like you are. As for Cascade - this on you. You have no policy, no guidance and no monitoring leaving us adults to police themselves. Fortunately, most do an exceptional job of policing themselves and have decency and courtesy. However, there are some that don't possess decency and probably have limited self-control when confronted about their behavior that could lead to an altercation between parties. If this were to happen to me you can bet that I would seeing you in court... And, while you are pondering this matter please scrub the pool! It's filthy. The walls and floor of the pool are coated in brown slime that cause slip when trying to push off. P.S. this also applies to those that are in a lane and invite someone that just shows up to join them instead of the next person in line as it should be. Friends don't get a free pass to the head of the line.

After touring the gyms I came away with the impression that Stafford was by far the best gym in the area. The staff is superb and the gym and equipment are clean. None of that terrible "gym" smell that you often get at the gyms as they age. They also do an excellent job at making sure there aren't so many members in the gym that there are long wait times to use the equipment.

"A place where everybody knows your name... and you're always glad you came." [1]…read more My review is based on my membership of one year where I've consistently visited 4x/week. Beginning during the end stages of COVID restrictions, it was so nice to experience outdoor swimming, the hot tub, and social time with other members. Swimming is my main experience at the club so here is what you should know: * Six lane outdoor salt water pool that is open year round (I've done laps in the snow, sleet, and hail). * You can reserve four of the six lanes and it is very competitive to get times, especially during the warm weather months when you are competing for space with the swim team, swim lessons, and aqua aerobics classes. * The other two lanes are left open for first come first serve usage and swimmers are encouraged to share. * The outdoor hot tub is for 14+ over. I have only taken one yoga class at the club and all classes have you reserve your spot. If you cancel less than 12 hours in advance or are a no show, you are charged a $10 fee. Personally, I don't mind since the reservation system makes me accountable and if I don't have a reservation, I'm less likely to go workout. The club is a nice mix of serious athletes (I'm surrounded by masters swimmers and triathletes), retirees, and families. Prior to my membership, my teenage son was a member for two years and loved the weight room, sauna, and steam room. The club as been open for awhile and is definitely showing its age and is need of some maintenance upgrades in the pool area. That being said, I have been very happy with my membership here and the personal feel, literally being greet by name when entering and exiting, and the wonderful customer service. This club is very different from the large national chains, so to each their own. Definitely recommend a trial membership at this club as well as others in the area to see which is the best fit for you. [1] I am currently re-watching this classic sitcom and while not aging well in the post Me Too era, still good for a lot of laughs.

They have carts available to unload your items (food, decorations, etc.) from your car and bring them to the room. The staff empties all trash and recycling. You are required to clean up your space, including sweeping the floor and wiping off all tables. Our only recurring issue is the technical equipment in the room. Each time we've held a gathering, the equipment hasn't worked properly. The microphone needs upgrading as well. It kept cutting out when people were talking into it. We were bummed we couldn't get the projector to work either. It would have been nice to have pictures of our loved ones on the screen with background music. Overall, it is a nice venue for large groups. We would recommend it to host gatherings.

The Tax Deduction has become quite the basketball player at the amazing age of nine (and a half!)…read more He plays in the YMCA Leagues mostly which are wonderful but the coaches are largely volunteer and while I appreciate their time and effort it is the basics over and over again. I started looking for a way to get him extra coaching and happened upon Shoot 360. We started with a free evaluation session to see where he was and that looked promising, which was no surprise to me. After that we signed up for monthly allotments of minutes to use for shooting and ball handling with their state of the art training methods in shooting cages and ball handling stations. It is not coaching one on one but it is measured and through measurement we can see improvement from session to session or where to allot more time to. Count on about $60 a month for your young player. However I do see middle aged people here a lot, so the pick up game players must see a value in this as well. Coaching is sporadic, you can pay for specific one on one time extra, but as The Tax Deduction runs through his drills he is usually visited by one to three coaches who correct and encourage. Sometimes I have to get a little pushy to get a visit, but this place can be busy so it is understandable. What it is though is state of the art, it looks like something a NBA team would use and so far it is working as my son gets closer to competing at middle school soon. **I am not one of *those* parents, if ever wants to leave basketball he is free to,
