A stimulating, hearty breakfast! We got the Ham & Cheese Pate Chaud, Banh Mi Chao Tieu Den, and Ca Phe Trung. The Pate Chaud was a tasty pastry that reminded me of a croissantwich. The Banh Mi Chao was the star of the show, with plenty of protein options and a nice sauce to dip the baguette in. The sauce was on the sweeter side though. Also, the cheese was a major downside: its texture and flavor was not particularly good and didn't complement the other items. The coffee was super strong and quite bitter, the egg yolk cream definitely balanced that out a bit

Service was 5 stars. So friendly and kind. We were welcomed with a smile and all our questions were answered. We even inquired about their chili crisp (so addicting) and they were kind enough to answer. Above and beyond! Space is 5 stars too. Plenty of seating in the front (bright and airy) and a quiet area at the back (dark and cozy). You don't feel rushed with your meal. Food was a 3.5-4. Ca Phe Kem Pho Mai (Vietnamese coffee with salted foam) was delicious. Strong coffee with a sweet and salty taste. I could've eaten the foam with a spoon. The salmon toast wasn't bad but I would make a couple of changes (1) reduce the cream cheese - it looks good/aesthetic but overwhelms the flavor (2) sub the avocado paste to fresh avocado, it had a funny taste. The cookie dough croissant was good but the outer cover was too crispy, it didn't have the flakiness of a croissant. I also wish they would have some other substitutions for their banh mi like chicken or shrimp or tofu. Hopefully someday!

I'm in love. I came here and ordered a steak croissant and Thai green tea topped creme brulee and it made me miss it the entire day. Having that addictive personality, I went back the next day. This time I ordered what my friend ordered - the Banh Mi Chao Tieu Den. Tender steak seared, runny egg, cheese, pate, pickles in fragrant black pepper sauce in which you add the ingredients onto your freshly baked banh mi. My goodness, I've never been a banh mi fan and this place made me ordered it just from how amazing it looks. The best part - it tastes just as good as it looks. This is now my favorite spot in Quincy.

Enticed by menu and had wanted to visit. Came by after lunch on a very cold day; asked if they had hot coffee since menu only offers cold beverages. Got a hot ca phe latte. Taste was on par, but that's just about it. $5 for a cup smaller than Starbucks cortado, and only about 85% filled (so, more expensive than Starbucks). Most interestingly, this hot coffee is not even hot. Barely warmer than lukewarm when the cup was passed to me, which quickly turned cold by the time I walked back to car. What I wonder is: how can a freshly made beverage not even hot to touch? The water that has been sitting in my thermos for 3+ hours was hotter than this "hot" coffee. The place was seated to capacity and the ambiance not bad. Food looks good too so I'm sure they're doing something right. But hate to say that it was a disappointing experience for me.

I love Vang Coffee Bar! They have plenty of seating & free wifi so it's a lovely spot to get comfy and get work done. Their staff is so nice & helpful as well. I went with their Banh Mi Chao Tieu Den (tender steak plate with eggs) which was so incredibly delicious! The bread on the side is nicely toasted so you can put together your own breakfast banh mi. The steak, eggs, & pickled veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned immaculately. I also got their Ca Phe Kem Pho Mai (viet coffee with whipped sea salt cream) and the coffee was strong! You really feel the caffeine kick & I love the slight sweetness that comes from the condensed milk / sea salt cream. Would highly recommend giving them a try if you're craving Viet comfort food.

Always hunting for the top notch Vietnamese coffee, found some spots that come fairly close to being top notch and this is one of those places. Plentiful space that encourages a vibrant environment with a good number of students studying. I only tried their coffee and basically got a deconstructed version of their Ca Phe Kem Pho Mai as I don't like too much sweetened condensed milk as it's too sweet. They gave my the condensed milk on the side so I could add to my own liking. It was a fun drink and looked cutesy with the dried orange topping. My partner got the regular Ca Phe Kem Pho Mai and thought it was too sweet, he wished he had gotten my version. The staff were very friendly and tried their best at accommodating. I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I was in the area I would stop by again.

Chill coffee shop vibe. Very spacious sitting area. There's more space in the back. They have one bathroom available. I got their nhai Dao cam. It's peachy refreshing drink.

Honestly, love this place. Food usually comes relatively quickly, plus it's pretty filling despite not being very heavy! The staff are also quite nice, patiently answering any questions we've got regarding the menu items (and shooting some recommendations here and there too). The only downside is that the shop does feel a bit small, but it's got a pretty refreshing vibe to it. Definitely coming again, especially for their rich and creamy egg coffee and black pepper pan.

A lovely spot that has officially opened! Just coming out of its soft opening, Vang Coffee Bar brings to Quincy a little bit of Vietnam with its bánh mì áp chảo (sizzling hot plate served with bread) and array of traditional Việt coffees. I ordered the basic áp chảo and it was plentiful. Paired with a fresh roll of bánh mì baked to golden perfection. Not sure if they make their bread in-house but however they're doing it, keep it up! The cà phê sữa đá was also very resemblant of what you'd find on the streets of Sài Gòn. I offer it the highest compliment a Việt person could give and say it was not too sweet. A great balance between the rich drip coffee and condensed milk.

Absolutely yum! 10/10 for hospitality and drinks. The hostess was really friendly and made great recommendations. There's plenty of space to sit, perfect for WFH. I just wish they had vegetarian options for food. My favorite part was the house made syrups for drinks and I was able to request without added sugar!!!

Exceptional food and drinks but the physical space could use some work. We came on a Wednesday morning and it was pretty much empty. There's wifi and plenty of outlets for people to use their laptops, but it's also good for just enjoying a nice meal. I got the Nhai Kem Pho Mai drink and the Bahn Mi Trung Lap Xuong. The drink had a pleasantly strong tea taste, and the sea salt cream added a nice touch of sweetness. The bahn mi satisfied my breakfast craving with the balance of all the fillings. There's one bathroom but compared to the beautiful dining area, it wasn't the cleanest. The toilet seat was askew and there were no paper towels or hand dryer, just a patch of wall missing paint where I assume it'd be. The dining area also suddenly got uncomfortably warm. Maybe the air conditioning broke or wasn't strong enough for today's heat. We planned on staying longer and getting a second round of drinks but ended up leaving earlier because of this. Regardless of the issues, I did enjoy my meal and would come back when it's not as warm out.

So happy to have discovered Vang! I've been looking for a proper Vietnamese coffee and Bahn Mi in Quincy and this spot nails it. Classic bahn mi - full of crunch and flavor! The bread is fresh and light. The crispy onions and pickled veggies add even more texture. The meats are tasty. Hanoi's golden - Bitter strong coffee + rich creamy sweet egg foam = winner. Definitely the place if you want quality coffee and want something different. Definitely give it a try if you are a cold foam fan. This ambience is laid back like a cafe more so than a restaurant and features counter service. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Food came out quick. Lots of room inside to accommodate a large group. Looks like they do have wifi so you could do a little work here as well. Prices are on the higher end but the food quality is great.

Golden Peach Blossom and Salted Jasmine Tea

Vang Coffee Bar is a newly opened spot located in the heart of Quincy Center, serving up Vietnamese cuisine! I've been here a handful of times at this point and have tried their Vegan Banh Mi, Black Pepper Pan, Golden Peach Blossom, Sea Salt Foam Coffee, Ca Phe Sua Da, and the Salted Jasmine Tea. - Vegan Banh Mi: An eggplant and tofu banh mi that is so soft and packed full of filling. I really enjoyed how their bread was so soft and airy on the inside while its exterior was nice and crispy. - Black Pepper Pan: The sauce was so good; I just wish it were a little bit more flavorful. The steak was perfectly cooked, and their pate was the perfect amount of savory. The Banh Mi was a terrific pairing. - Golden Peach Blossom: A little bit on the sweeter end, but the Orange and Peach flavors really stood out and were a great complementary blend. This was a super refreshing drink! - Sea Salt Foam Coffee: I love a good sea salt foam coffee. Vietnamese coffee tends to be a little bit too strong for me, but this was perfect. The sea salt foam was really good as well. The space is quite large, so I think this would be a perfect spot to study or even host events. The owner is very friendly and the service is fantastic. Overall, I would highly recommend giving this spot a try! I do feel like they're a bit on the pricier end, but they are still in their soft opening phase, so I am sure that they are working out the kinks. The owner is very receptive to feedback as well, which is awesome, showing that they prioritize the customer experience!

I've seen photos of the unique mousse desserts online but yesterday was the first time I decided to check it out. Their pastries look amazing. I was having a case of choice paralysis. I arrived around 2:30 and noticed that some of the croissant pastries were already sold out. I decided to opt for the seasonal croissant and I was surely not disappointed. We walked into a space with a self-serve layout that makes it easy to browse everything from flaky croissants and sweet pastries to freshly baked loaves and beautifully decorated whole cakes before checking out. The bakery had a clean, organized energy with a steady flow of customers moving through the line, and the spacious seating area made it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a pastry with coffee rather than just grabbing something to go. The pastry selection is the main draw, with favorites including the coffee bun, ham and cheese croissant, hash brown bread, soft cheesecake, sweet potato pastry, and mochi donuts. We ordered a few items and found the croissants light and buttery, with a good flake that held up against the fillings. The sweet potato pastry stood out with a smooth, naturally sweet filling that was not overly sugary, and the mochi donuts offered a chewy texture that set them apart from traditional donuts. The cake display is equally impressive, featuring a variety of light sponge cakes and fruit-filled desserts that work well for both individual slices and special occasions. Coffee, matcha lattes, smoothies, and other café drinks round out the menu for a quick breakfast or afternoon stop, and the drinks paired well with the pastries without feeling like an afterthought. The bakery is clean, spacious, and well organized, with neatly arranged displays that make everything look fresh and inviting. Despite being a popular location, service is generally efficient, and there is plenty of seating if you want to enjoy your pastries inside. The staff moved through orders with speed, and the pacing of the visit stayed comfortable without long waits. Whether stopping in for a morning coffee and pastry, picking up a birthday cake, or grabbing a box of baked goods to take home, Paris Baguette offers a consistently wide variety of Korean-style baked goods in a comfortable café setting.

It's a busy intersection, but there's a number of street spots and I think most people don't know about the massive free lot behind the shops across the street, head over there if all the street parking is taken. The coffee itself is top tier. They have a lot of creative signature lattes, I've tried both the Tiramisu and Peanut Butter lattes and loved them equally. Our dessert order was packed in a bag too as if expecting us to take it to go. Out of awkwardness, we didn't eat it on the spot. I got the triple layer dessert because I was most interested in the coconut part of their offerings, and this would let me try all of their variations. It's supposed to be coconut water jelly and coconut milk jelly all prepared inside a coconut which also has its own coconut flesh. I can't tell if I can't differentiate the layers or my coconut really didn't have water jelly inside. I could only see/taste the milk jelly parts. The flavor and texture itself is amazing. It's super soft and melts in your mouth texture. Appreciate how they didn't overdo the gelatin (or whatever thickener they use). The coconut flavor is soft and gentle and creamy. They actually add coconut flakes on top. It's nice to have different texture but I can live without it. Or maybe they added it in place of coconut jelly to be another layer?? Having the whole coconut itself makes it feel worth to get the triple layer. However, the coconut meat isn't necessarily the most tender or sweet. They give a plastic spoon and that's barely strong enough to scrape out the flesh. I guess that's why it's better to take it home - to use a metal spoon. My conclusion is that I'd rather get the single or double layer next time. I think I want to try the double layer next so I can explicitly see the coconut water jelly layer to determine if I think it's worth to get or I should just double down on the single layer option of just coconut milk jelly. It also begs the question whether single and double layer is worth it when the triple layer comes with a whole coconut while the former two come in a glass jar. 4.5* but will put 4* until I try more and have a better conclusion.
