On 6/29/23 i was looking to buy some DEF for our trucks and when I looked online the website said that you were open till 10pm. When I got there at 8:20pm the door was locked and the person the was behind the counter ignored my knocking on the door. I then went to the service department and spoke with James who was more then willing to help me out. He let me know that they actually closed at 8pm but lead me into the parts department so see if the person there would be willing to help me out. Before James could even ask, this person very quickly stated "I already clocked out!" so he asked if he could at least give him the part number for the DEF. James also looked up the website on his phone and a different search engine showed that they were open till 9pm. After a little work James was able to get me invoiced for the 4 boxes of DEF that it needed so I could be on my way. Thanks James for going above and beyond to help me out when you parts person would not.

After searching craigslist and elsewhere for several weeks, I was ready to buy a small used…read moreforklift. I found one I liked at another equipment seller. I called to get more information about it and see if I could come to Phoenix on a Saturday to possibly purchase it as I run a business Monday thru Friday and could not come during the week. They told me that they were closed on weekends and would not, under any circumstances be available any other times to accommodate me. Then I found AZ Equipment! Brian and Mary were great! The unit I was looking at on the internet at their location had been recently sent out on a long term rental, but Brian and Mary found another, better unit that seemed to fit my needs. After sending me pics, specs and a written quote, they gladly met me on Saturday to see the forklift. It was exactly as represented and came with a great price too! He knows in text ...That I inquired about APU trucks and then I honed in on my next few big items. One of the very next items on my search on top of my list and I specifically stated" it had to have "adaptive cruise". I honed in a a truck that should have had it based on the year and Model asked him to affirm and he did and I made a offer. We made a deal. I asked about accident history to which Rob said no history as far as he knows and no other evidence except what I thought was skecy part for mfg . No other evidence came up during inspection. I checked everything I could think to prior to taking delivery but there was no way to be able to check the adaptive cruise. Lots of different textured paint on lower fairings and frt Bumper. He said he didn't seem concerned and thought the paitn was fine . We test drove they are in a highly congested area and we went out for a drive at 4:00ish . no place to use cruise ...Camera safety thing which I think is part of the electronic cruise worked as far as crossing lines. But after reading up it works in conjunction with a bumper mounted radar sensor to detect traffic I front . I am pretty sure if I sold trucks for a living, I would know that that black license size thing on all the bumpers of Kenworth Trucks are for adaptive Cruise ! So yes I picked up the truck drove it home and realized quickly , no adaptive cruise ! My second highest priority in our negotiation and clearly in our text thread. All I have for recourse is this . Its not right. Management should review text and take responsibility for the obvious expectation and oversight by Rob . I was hoping against hope they would do the right thing review my inquiry prior to purchase in a text string and offer to replace and fix radar. Nope He ( Rob acknowledged our conversation ) and said he spaced it with all the other things going on But said they will not do anything about it except say sorry about that. Its a 1000 just fr the part . I am NOT happy . A different decision and this could have been a 5 instead of a 2 Star. Their future success is vulnerable if this is there mindset .:(:( I would be careful . Was proudly going to use there free advertisement Mud flaps . I may yank off or leave on and if anyone inquires I will tell my story . They probably spend 10's of thousands in advertising and I say a resolved service after the sale is the cheapest BEST ADVERTISEMENT you can spend . FYI I like writing 5 Star reviews a lot more!!!

My chipper broke down in a major way last week. It was well beyond my capability and I didn't have…read morethe time to get it done even if I wanted. I rushed it over to the Altec Service Center and they had assessed it by the next day and had parts shipped overnight to get it fixed quickly. I was expecting a 2-3 week turn around like at other shops in the valley and was blown away with how quickly they got my machine back in service. This week was especially significant since I was already shopping for a newer and heavier duty brush chipper. I had narrowed down what I wanted between Altec and the other guy and decided to order another brand new chipper through Altec just because of my experience with their service center here. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I am with this place. They just earned a life-long customer!
