Yummy! biscoff cheesecake with Carmel, pecans and biscoff cookies! Love that you select the cheesecake and then whatever toppings! Paid $5 so a fellow veteran or child could enjoy a cheesecake on me! [[HIGHLIGHT]]New place looks AWESOME and what a great location![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you haven't been you need to stop by! Right across from the Children's Museum!

Of course I've done a review or two or three on The Cheesecake Lady lol. I just love this place and cheesecake. The warm greeting with smiling faces soon as you walk in is always awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small and cozy and sometimes may get crowded at certain times of the day but so worth the wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This time I got the BIG DEN DEN of cheesecake; a while Big slice of lemon cake crumbled throughout layers of strawberry cheesecake in a 1lb cup. I even had them top mine off with strawberries as well before they put on the last big slice of cake. It was ohhh soo good. If I could eat it all I'd definitely get it again lol. Go ahead and dive in. It's about $15 to $18 and again worth every penny. While your there don't forget to pay it forward and prepay for a child or Vet to get a free cup.

Great spot to grab some dessert! Love that they have so many different sizes to pick from as well as a ton of flavors! While the cups are a perfect way to eat this dessert on the go- I prefer a normal slice of cheesecake as I don't really like whipcream. I tried the Carmel and cookies and cream. They have a cute photo opp along the wall! I'd be interested in trying the peach cobbler and birthday cake in the future!

What a cute place with such lovely decadent desserts!!! I enjoyed my banana Biscoff pudding which was light and didn't carry any intense banana flavor. There were a whole variety of flavors such as cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cookies and cream and chocolate brownies. The cheesecakes are served in 6oz and 12oz plastic to go cups which are pretty easy and convenient to carry. Customer service was quick and easy. Locally owned this place is a keeper and definitely recommend!

Visited the Cheese Cake lady today and purchased a couple different flavors. Three of us tried them after dinner. All three of us disliked the texture. They were very cloying claggy. I expected a texture like refrigerator cheese cake. Sort of a mousse like texture. All three were very much like the viscosity of honey. Not quite a liquid not quite a solid. Of the three flavors the strawberry tasted best. I wish they them luck on the new business. They just weren't obviously our thing.

It's been long over due that I get my words in about The Cheesecake Lady Indy, especially now that she's opened up her storefront location. The first time I tried the Cheesecake Lady, she was still running her business out of the Indy Kitchen on Central/Fall Creek. Starting a business over the pandemic is not an easy feat, and I'm super excited to have been able to follow her journey. Let's just say if you don't follow her socials, you definitely should - she is transparent, authentic, and clearly dedicated to her customers and product. She's always open to customer suggestions from cheesecake flavors to how to navigate business practices (i.e. starting a buy-one program for the kids, other community engagement opportunities, Just-Tips events for customers). I love supporting a business as a whole - good product but also good people and thoughtful practices. If you got this far, you're probably wondering when I'm going to start talking about the most important part - the cheesecake? Here we go, things to note about the Cheesecake Lady: - Originally known for her No-Bake Cheesecakes, fun mix-ins and crumbles, and hits the mark on fun flavors. My personal favorite is her classic Strawberry Crunch! You can buy these in 5-6 oz. cups or 12- 14 oz cups. Price range from $5.50 - $14 - which warrants it as a special treat yo'self moment. (She takes pre-orders for full cheesecakes too) - Products have expanded to baked cheesecakes, cookie sandwiches, cake slices, etc. - still with awesome flavor combos. - She's on Doordash and you can also buy her products at different locations throughout Indy and the Greater Indy area. - Rotating Menu options on the daily - she can sell out quick. Enough rambling from me - go and support this local women-owned, BIPOC business!

Although my waistline appreciated the limited hours before, it brought me so much joy when the storefront opened! They are always so welcoming and as a recovering fundraiser, their philanthropic efforts and community mindedness only make me want to buy the entire cooler of cheesecake. In fact, every time I walk in the door someone asks "Is there a specific flavor you're looking for?" My first thought is "I'm not even supposed to be in here" It's like Target, but for desserts - you can't stay away and you always get one of everything ‍

I stumbled upon The Cheesecake Lady via social media. I followed for months before I tried her cheesecake. Loved it. I watched her grow her business and open her storefront. Free street parking is available. A sign greets you from the sidewalk displaying the flavors. Inside is decorated in bright pink and yellow. There is even an area for pics. She offers a variety of cheesecake and other treats. Flavors are updated via her social media. I try a new flavor every time, lol. I've enjoyed them all. Local. Black owned. Woman owned.

I made this cheesecake with homemade caramel and chocolate ganache at one of her classes!

Cute little storefront to pop-in and grab some cheesecake goodness. She has lots of no bake cups with great flavors (that seasonal sweet potato pie was my favorite) but the new baked cheesecake slices she offers are We also did her cheesecake baking class and it was so much fun!

The best cheesecake around! The new location is next to the old be bella store front. Across from hops and hoagies. There is a cute setup inside. There are cookers where you pick from the available options. She sells out quick when she opens of the popular limited stuff. She's open 12-6 and closed on sun and mon. I can't go until after work during the week and she sells out within the hour and less of opening. I got lucky and there were cups of her other usual flavors. I like the peach cobbler and tried the double chocolate brownie and that was sooo good!!

    Erin L.

I've heard a lot about The Cheesecake Lady but never got a chance to try her cheesecakes until she started stocking at Bonded Oil in Shelbyville. They sold out quick the first few nights and were hard to get. She had just stocked Bonded Oil one night last week, and my boyfriend was on his way home from work at the same time. He stopped by there and picked up some. She has many flavors/choice's to choose from, and he got the peach cobbler, strawberry crunch, and banana pudding cheesecakes. OMG, they were all absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I also like how they are sold as single servings. If you're ever in Indianapolis or see her cheesecakes somewhere, I highly recommend them. If you like cheesecake, you'll love this.

    Laura T.

Nice assortment of cheesecakes to choose from. Cute shop with the cutest background/backdrop for photo ops as soon as you walk through the door! The guy at the front counter was a help in trying to decide what to get. I tried a flavor that didn't does as well and it was 25% off; caramel brownie. I must say that I wasn't a fan, but glad I gave it a try. I learned that I prefer my brownie by itself rather than being accompanied with cheesecake. The portion sizes are perfect for if you just want to satisfy your sweet tooth, you want to indulge or if you want to indulge indulge! Ha! She also offers, what I would like to call, a 4 way; 4 different flavors of cheesecake. If cheesecakes are your thing, stop by and give the Cheesecake Lady a try!

The inside is cute but there is no seating inside. You're going to get a little messy eating your cinnamon roll and want to be in the privacy of your own home anyway. Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. I wish we'd waited and walked into the larger one in Carmel and just shopped and got some cookies to go!
