I had a great time out with the fellows at Penthouse. This is the nicest club in the area by far. The women there are beautiful and incredibly talented. The stage has a two story pole and its quite remarkable to check out the acrobatic feats these women pull off seamlessly and effortlessly. The club is ultra high-end and I really liked how friendly and attentive the staff was. I was especially impressed with Jonny, the club manager. He made sure our party got a great table and made a point to check in to see how we were doing. I'm pretty sure everyone in my party was thoroughly entertained. Back again from my review in the past, what, 3 years ago Yes, that hamburger is still as delicious as ever, and they still have that same burger with the egg and bacon.....it is a beautiful meal, one that is simply eventful. I closed up from production shoots late as we often do, and I find the club, simply a fun place to drop by, have a late dinner, and just outgas as we say. There have been so many positive changes again, with that great energy back, and the staff, especially the bartenders and hostesses , dancers and floor staff just positive and cheery. I again drop by a couple times a month if I can just for the atmosphere and a great meal.. I was planning to just relax a bit and order that beautiful Penthouse Burger, and I noticed the new I guess, Chicken Marsala on the menu. The Bartender suggested the new Steak Sandwich, but shared that the Chicken was just fantastic, so I gave it a try. WOW, ok, not what I expected. I am glad in one sense they served one large breast piece, as I would have eaten 2 if served When my order was served, I looked at it, and in the light, it just did not seem like I expected, as I expected a simple piece of chicken, with mushrooms and a light sauce over the serving.....the chicken, instead, was covered in a tomato and mushroom sauce , with a side of mashed potatoes along with broccoli I ordered on the side. It had a beautifully nice home cooked, but clean presentation, NOT a dainty little piece of chicken and a drizzle of sauce It was deliciously hearty as if prepared with Italian Love.. When I simply cut it with a fork, and tasted the first bite, I realized this was a a beautiful piece of home cooking, rich in flavor, with buttery melted mozzarella over the top of the chicken , wow!!! I just had to smile. A customer asked me if it was good, as he could smell the aromas coming from the plate, and I smiled and said I loved it. I tried hard to just pace myself, as I wanted it to last. This was a generous severing, and I thought, this would be great fun to go out with the guys and just have dinner. The club is nice, and I was upstairs which was a little quieter. The dancers were not pushy at all as I was enjoying the meal, and of course, with beautiful friendly smiles. What a great moment again, like a moment in Vegas, without the $20 drink costs, a beautiful meal, and beautiful women , life is good, and always bringing a positive . My first experience at a gentleman's club was here. It was awesome. I never thought I'd use strip club and classy in the same sentence. This place was very nice and eclectic inside, newly remodeled. Something even better than their facility was their service. We had dinner there and I had the lobster risotto, very good! The chicken and chocolate covered strawberries are also very good! After going to the Condor Club, where the bartender Summer recommend we check out the penthouse, we decided to come see what it was all about. It was a Monday night so it wasn't too busy, we hung out up stairs where Summer once again did an excellent job taking care of us!! The atmosphere is a little more fancy but they didn't bat an eye at the way I was dressed, which was decent but mostly casual. The upstairs had a really cool stage that you could see though down to the first floor. The entertainment was on point, and a beautiful dancer approached us immediately and held a great conversation, and made us feel like we were right at home. The one thing that might have been a down side was the price of drinks but if you take into consideration the fact that you get to hang out with beautiful half naked women the price is worth it. The music was on point and the whole place was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back to see Summer and Monica. read more

Surprise, it actually was a stripclub (I didn't know about the famous Penthouse...) and it looked even greater inside! The host was so beautiful that I asked her if she was that girl on the cover of their Penthouse Magazine haha, true story! Not only was Glen, the GM and the entire staff super friendly but it was the absolute perfect place for our date to end! Went there on a Thursday night around 10 and no one was there except A LOT of dancers. The chicken was definitely a good choice but a bit expensive. The dancers don't bother u at all, but I highly recommend that you finish your meal before inviting a dancer to your table because if u invite one then they all come. Came here just for a night out w my friends, Had NO idea there was a steakhouse upstairs. I wasn't really expecting much because come on.... its food....at a strip club...but it was SO surprising (for again, this type of club). You walk in, and everything just FEELS classier, like a vegas nightclub, it doesn't look or feel sleezy AT ALL) take the elevator to the steakhouse, its small and overlooks the rest of the club. we shared a few plates: the pork belly special, Surf and Turf (lobster and filet mignon, fingerling pots and carrots...SOOOO GOOD!) and chocolate lava cake (OMGAWD). After that we explored downstairs (the fun part) There are 3 stages, the main one has a 2 story pole that goes all the way up to the restaurant and some of the girls will climb all the way up. most of the girls were hot so DEF no complaints there! we got a few dances (expect to spend $$) some of the girls are def better acrobats if thats what youre looking for lol. The drinks aren't cheap but its also not a divebar (think nightclub prices). The bartenders were SUPER attentive, and equally as hot, they both looked like librarians...in tiny uniforms, HELLO! If we were bigballin or there for a big party we def woulda got a bottle. There's a huge champagne display in the front, we were SO tempted!!! Dom, Ace of Spades, Krug, cristal, etc. .....Next time.... Only downside is that if you don't bring enough cash, the ATM fee is steep. I love this place! If you're looking for a classy place to enjoy a great stage show and the company of the most beautiful women in San Francisco, you've found it. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great (and a lot more affordable than when they first opened). I've seen some really negative reviews on here, complaining about high cover, cold food and bad service, and all I can say is that I've never had any of those experiences. I've never paid more than $20 to get in, pretty typical for a gentleman's club in SF, the food's always been great, and I've always been taken good care of. To be fair, I don't know why I'm talking about the food and staff, since on one goes to a club for the food or the service, they go for the girls . . . ah, the girls. I hate going to clubs where all the dancers look the same, and thankfully Penthouse offers something for all tastes. They've got tall girls, short girls, blondes, brunettes, redheads, skinny girls, curvy girls, clean cut girls, tattooed, indy girls, and just about every combination you could hope for. Some are a little aggressive for my taste, but lets be honest, every club has at least one pushy chick that you can't quite figure out why she's working there at all. The vast majority of the girls are attractive, desirable, and fun to talk to. Have been meaning to write a review of this establishment. Had been there a few times and enjoyed myself more so than I do at other clubs, but this most recent time, was simply plaining put a BLAST!!! Went there a couple weeks ago for the Anniversary Party and it was one of the most fun nights I have had in a while. First off, let me start by saying that I was planning on going by for an hour or so and by the time I knew it, it was almost the end of the night, so yeah that should let you know how good of time I had. As I arrived at the club the doorman and then the hostess were both very polite and welcoming. Then my group of friends and I were seated by one of the floor hosts and were given prime seating without being required to buy a bottle or something like that (which many other clubs do). The cocktail waitress came over to us and asked if we needed anything. A couple of us got drinks and then when those of us who didn't, expressed that we weren't quite ready for a beverage, she said "no problem, I'll come back later and see if you want anything then", with a smile, no role of the eyes or funny looks basically no hassle or pressure. Can't remember her name, but she was on top of things all night, even if that meant just checking and see how things were going. Which leads me to the overall customer service and attention to details. There was staff also coming around asking if we needed change for the dancers and staff coming around to ask if we wanted food. And on top of that, the Manager Mark was actually going around the club, introducing himself, checking to see if people needed anything and made it a point to actual have conversation adding to the inclusive feeling of comfort. Now.............the entertainment. Let me start off by saying this club is actually pretty cool in terms of it's ambiance and decor. It feels high energy, fancy yet not stuffy, fun and makes you want to party. The girls are good looking, friendly, not "sharky" and have personalities that make you want to interact with them. And them being dressed up in masquerade mask and gowns was something I would say was actually more alluring. Oh, before I forget, the night also included some special performances,including an aerialist and creative dances. So yeah as you can see, Penthouse definitely made an impression on me. That night was awesome and now with just a few times of me being there, I can definitely say it is one of San Francisco's Premier Gentlemen's clubs. What do you say about the place that has everything? Fantastic food AND beautiful women! F**ing awesome, that's what. Even though it is located in the famous red light district of San Francisco, the Penthouse Steakhouse certainly stands out in my mind as one of the classier gentlemen's clubs. As soon we reached the door we were greeted by a stunning beautify hostess and a friendly bouncer (which is saying a lot because most joints I've been to have a bunch of skeezy looking characters loitering about outside). Anyhow... they opened the door for us to a very chic looking reception area where even more beautiful women were waiting to check us in under our reservation and proceeded to lead us upstairs to our table. This must have been the best seat in the house as not more than ten feet from us was a pole where the clubs very appealing exotic dancers took turns working-it-out. Our server Mike promptly came by to introduce himself and give us the low down about how the place worked. Since they want you to enjoy your meal without any unwanted interruption, the dancers are not allowed to solicit you unless you specifically ask for them to come join you. BRILLIANT... that way you can take the time to get acquainted with the vibe of the club, scope out the girls, enjoy the five-star food with your friends, get your drink on, and then go downstairs to the main floor to get closer to the action. And by the way, although the girls are not allowed to talk to you without your permission, it doesn't stop them from occasionally glancing over to you from where they are sitting with the flirtatious looks so fierce it can damn near drive you crazy! The service was phenomenal. Before we knew it, our first order of drinks were right before our eyes along with a mouthwatering spoonful of tuna tartar for each of us, compliments from the chef. Mike gave us his personal recommendation for our meals, ensured our drinks were topped off all night and overall made us feel right at home. One of the signature drinks was a sugar-rimmed Chambord and champagne concoction served in a martini glass that I highly recommend, and I don't usually like "fruity" drinks like that, but it was the bomb. This is where the night got a little, no, a LOT fuzzy... My friends and I every now and again will partake in a bit of a pre-party and this time, for some reason, it most definitely did not end up for the best. Not only were we too smashed to eat our food, but the room started spinning, we turned into such a sloppy big mess that we had trouble paying our bill, decided it would probably be best to take care of each other and get ourselves home before it got any worse, and missed the girls altogether just to wake up the next morning to find out that we stiffed poor Mike on his tip!! Sorry bro, major faux pas on our part. We called the next day to see if we could adjust our credit card bill without success but we will hit you back ASAP! If you are lucky enough to have Mike as your server, take good care of him as he does a lot to make sure your night is as enjoyable as possible. I was a server/trainer at one time myself; I know top-notch service when I see it and Mike delivered it exceptionally well. I don't really remember getting home that night, but luckily, one of our DRUNK-A$$E$ had some small amount of common sense in us because the next morning we found the rest of our food, neatly packaged in a fancy black box, eagerly awaiting us in the fridge. Okay, great, so now I can actually comment on the main courses. I had the salmon and my friend the steak along with french fries doused in truffle oil, mmmmmmm... Simply put, if this food can taste THAT good reheated, I can only imagine how awesome it would have tasted when it was fresh off of the grill. Although the night didn't end up how we had hoped, we did recall having a great time at the Penthouse Steakhouse. The service, the atmosphere, the ambiance, drinks, food, and of course, the ladies- all 5 STARS. My husband and I were visiting a few clubs for his birthday (we go to the city every year to celebrate with friends). This year a friend recommended the Penthouse Club & Restaurant. I looked up their menu and noticed it didn't have fish (which I really wanted), so I called ahead and spoke with Marc. I told him it was my husband's 45th birthday and that I really wanted it to be special. He asked what I was looking for food-wise, and I told him chicken and fish (but on the fancier side). He said not too worry, he would take care of us. When we got there, we got the VIP treatment. We ordered a Calamari appetizer, and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. It had a balsamic vinegar drizzled on top and some type of tomato and pepper sauce on the bottom...the two flavors together BAM!!! Didn't even need the cocktail sauce. Marc came out and told us that he had a special dish for each of us. Tilapia in a white wine/garlic cream sauce with capers for me and Chicken Marsala for my husband. I had asparagus and mac & cheese as my sides, my husband just had the mac & cheese. I was expecting "club food" and what we got was something I would expect from a 5 star restaurant (but bigger portions). The fish and the asparagus were perfectly cooked - the fish just flaked right off and melted in my mouth, the asparagus was still crisp and lightly grilled in a garlic butter sauce...and the mac & cheese...OMG...SO delicious!!!! I tasted my husband's Chicken Marsala (which I have had at an upscale restaurant before) - it was on par with what I received at the 5 star restaurant. I was floored with how great the food was...oh, and don't forget to get the LAVA Cake...it is to DIE for! As for the club itself - it's gorgeous! The waitstaff were so friendly and on top of everything...the entertainers were beautiful...and the bathrooms were very nice and clean!
