First time here and it was my friends first time going to an establishment like this. We came here for their 5 dollar entrance fee with buffet. The food was amazing!! The chef knows what their doing. I think the fried chicken could be season a tad bet more but over all it was good. Ooh yeh and I think their clam chowder wil bel my new favorite. The atmosphere was chill and classy. All the workers that interacted with us where very nice and helpful. Especially Alex our server. We will be planning to come back with more friends. My first time here for their $5 all you can eat buffet. Well, I've been here in the late night with my guy friends off record lol. It was so worth it and the service is awesome. Full bar and table service not just the special ones. The girls even if topless was so good on the pole. It was very entertaining. It was like watching an acrobatics show. Not many food entertainments in SF and I would say this place is definitely fun and not just for the guys. The music was also killer! Thumbs up to the DJ. Buffet had mix green salad, ham Swiss slider on Hawaiian bread, stir fried zucchini mushrooms, corkscrew pasta in red sauce, fall off the bone sweet bbq ribs , of course their famous fried chicken and brownie/blondie dessert. They are known for their fried chicken and it is definitely different and delicious. It is a tiny bit sweeter than most fried chicken but it was still yummy. The chicken has a thin Krispy skin, not doughy , not dry, very juicy and best part not oily at all! Overall very enjoyable lunch and I will definitely come back. My group decided to meet here because the website and ad out front advertise "Free admission 7-9 EVERYDAY" and "DAILY." I live nearby, so was going to be the only one in my group who got in free, but it still tipped the scales when we decided which club to go to. There are many options in SF. I get there before 9, but was told that the advertised "EVERYDAY" didn't apply tonight. What?! Doesn't EVERYDAY and DAILY mean...EVERYDAY? I spoke to the manager, who claimed no knowledge of HIS OWN website and advertising. He greeted me with hostility, instead of apologizing. It wasn't the end of the world, but the early free entry is a perk that incentivized us to come here tonight -- I figured he'd try and make things right or throw me a bone, or at least show some good will. Instead, he was a greasy jerk. I run a business. There were 1,000 ways to handle this professionally and restore good feelings. He chose to be rude and condescending. Asked me to show him THEIR website on my phone: I did. He took my phone (without asking), read the screen, then said, "That doesn't count tonight." Then why did he ask me to look up the website if he wasn't going to honor it? He wasn't apologetic about the false advertising or his unwillingness to honor it, didn't try and work with me, didn't throw me a free drink, or offer any incentive or show of good will of any kind. That would have made a big difference. He obviously didn't want my money, or my group's money. What do you think 4 local men will spend on a Saturday night at this club? And on future visits? Now I hate this place because of his attitude and the disrespect. I wasn't going to "argue" about it, so I just left -- but I sure as hell wasn't going to let my group come here at that point. So I went outside, called my friends and we re-routed to another club. This manager is an idiot, who has no idea how to run a business. The club owner should find someone new who values customers. If you read other negative reviews below, you will find that rudeness is a common complaint, along with credit card fraud, being lied to, being bullied, and accusations of racism being shown by management and staff. A gay guy friend heard about the $5 lunch buffet and told me about it. We were totally up to give the place a try and we heard great things about the food. My friend had also never been to a female strip club and was curious about going to one. We joked that we should also bring our retired dads. Well the joke became a reality today! We took our dads and had father and son bonding time at the world famous Gold Club lunch buffet. We got in line a little before 11am and were second in line. By the time we got in there were at least 60-80 people behind us in line. There was a mix of people in line: younger and older, girls and guys, singles and couples, and various ethnicities. The food was great and the fried chicken was my fave. It is a bit sweeter than most but very good without too much batter. It was a nice balanced meal with salad, grilled veggies, fried chicken, beef, sandwiches and dessert. Beers were also very reasonable at $7 for full glass drafts. This place is very classy with excellent service from the hostesses, floor managers, waitresses and of course the lovely dancers. They are very nice and friendly and not pushy at all. There are 3 dancers at once: one upstairs, one on a smaller downstairs stage and one one the main stage. Shoutout to the lovely Kennedy who is super chill and friendly! My girlfriends and I went Saturday night for fun. Just for context, we were a group of straight girls who can appreciate and admire beautiful women and have been to the Gold Club before. And it did not disappoint. The women of different shapes, sizes, background were so beautiful, sexy and TALENTED!!! It was incredibly mesmerizing. Update ***** Preauthorization charge of 150 has been adjusted. No call back from the manager tho for copies of the receipt :( From the bar we got three beers a bottled water and a mocktail that cost 50$ total. We left cash as a tip and these people charged us 150$!!!! I called back the next day and it wasn't until then that they explained there was a pre authorization fee for all credit cards. They said that it will fall off in a few days. If it doesn't then to call back and they will take care of it. The front desk assured us that the manager will be calling us back to get us copies of the receipt . I really hope to hear back from them soon. I think they can work on explaining this to people so there's no misinformation and some don't think they are getting ripped off. Explanation is needed about the process so there is clarity on both ends For the girls they are wonderful sweet and not pushy at all. There were a few beautiful girls there so we enjoyed what we saw. One of the oldest and best strip clubs in SF (and my first shot at one) so even though there are plenty of others (with better music, I might add) with discounted or waived cover, we still ended up here for the night. The inside is like an oversized man cave with a floor level, private sections, and a VIP second floor. The atmosphere is dark (as expected), the music is discreet, and the receptionist (?) will happily change your bills into smaller ones (right after you withdraw cash from the ATM--there's also the option of cashing your credit card). There's live games and fights streamed on special nights. There's prime rib and steak for order. The drinks are standard (note: not a full bar) and strong (note: not tasty) and most parties will have table service. Almost naked girls walk around and will sit down and drink with you (if you want) and run down their price list (if interested). I think when I went a lap dance was $60. There's various add ons to this and I recommend asking for clarity. Also, all these comments here about girls drinking and it being added to your tab--uhhh what did you expect? Please. Did you expect they would sit with you and pay for their own drink? Stop lol. If you have table service, they'd drink what you have. Even I was offered drinks from neighboring tables. This is the standard in any normal club, why would you expect less at a strip club? Hilarious. Also, anyone who's been to a lounge where women can sit and drink with you (host club-style) know that these women do not pay for their own drinks and really you should tip them for even spending time with you. Sometimes the clubs will charge you for the girls' time. This is also standard. Anyways, I could see why men would like this establishment. They had really comfortable leather swivel chairs that recline. You can get a nice view of the main dance stage (poll dancing). There's more than one stage with smaller stages for the VIP sections. The girls' performance vary greatly, where some were very skilled (poll dancing could be a sport), some were very sexy (even I felt like I was the only one in the room lol), and some were very interactive, encouraging shyer customers to touch. I was surprised by the number of women at this place, and even more surprised by the number of couples who come together! But rest assured, women are faaar more generous than men when it comes to tips and compliments so yeah, men should step up and complain less about having to spend money at a strip club. To add to one of the commenters here, I did notice a lot of fake butts and fake boobs but...hmm...they prolly wouldn't do it if there wasn't a demand for it? Security was pretty strict (just so you know) and there fancy cars outside you can pay to drive you to your next party (for a price). The place is open all night (versus CA clubs closing at 2am) but after a certain hour it's a different clientele as they'll stop selling you alcohol (whether they take your bottles off your table service--I didn't notice). read more

That really sets the mood for the rest of the meal. You forget that it's actually a weekday lunch and it feels like you're out on a Friday/Saturday night. And you might think it feels sleazy inside, but I didn't feel that way at all. Everything looks very nice and professional. There's a decent amount of seating, but I would recommend getting here earlier when they open at 11:30 to have more options with seating and also to avoid long lines at the buffet. There's additional seating on the second floor as well, but both times I've sat on the main floor to the side of the stage. I'm personally here just for the food (and maybe a drink or two :D), so I can't comment much on the performances, but MY GAWD THE FRIED CHICKEN. SO GOOD. They had both breast and thigh/leg pieces, and my coworkers and I all agreed that it was surprisingly good. Sure it's not the best fried chicken I've ever had (it could use a pinch of salt), but it's pretty darn good even without taking the price into account. In addition to the fried chicken which is always there (as far as I can tell), they usually rotate in a second entree. First time it was pasta with meat sauce, and on my most recent visit, it was meatloaf. There's also a salad bar, mashed potatoes, fresh fruit, and two desserts. The food here definitely isn't meant for vegetarians. But I couldn't quite get myself to actually go to a strip club to eat lunch. Eventually, I had to do it. The good news: if you strictly want to enjoy a cheap lunch without the elements of a strip club, you mostly can. There's a bar in the back corner, so we snagged a couple of empty seats there and were about as far away from the stage as could be. The music is still blaring and nakedness still ensues, but from a distance. I got two plates of food, consisting of fried chicken, ribs, rice, salad, crab rangoon and some various other snacks. Plate #2 consisted of more chicken, a cookie and a piece of cake that was the best tasting item of the lunch. The food was completely average. Think: catering at Holiday Inn. But it literally cost five dollars and zero cents. My diet coke at the bar was another $3. I'm assuming there are people who work nearby that don't think it's physically possible to find lunch for $8 in SOMA. One point in time this place was amazing. I mean was even featured in Forbes i remember from their famous Brunch buffet they would have. We used to go weekly and have a good time. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Last night was the absolute WORST time i ever had in this establishment. Took my lady there since her first time wasn't too pleasant so wanted to give it another try as well as get the amazing chicken they sell. That wasn't the case. We came got a few hundred in ones as well as placed an order for a bucket a chicken with the bartender. My credit card declined due to possible that i had to confirm it wasn't. The bartender ran my card gave it back and said it declined. I asked her to run it again due to the misunderstanding. She said No and brushed me off & was super rude about it and went to my lady asking for payment. Her mannerisms, words of choice as well as tone was very disrespectful. I asked her to get her supervisor for me she said okay. Again she walked off brushed me off and started talking to the dancers. Five minutes went by she walked past again. I asked her for the second time can she get her supervisor she then ask why? I told her i didnt like the way this situation has been handled and you're treating me as if a $25 bucket a chicken is something i cant afford and that it was a fraud alert in which i showed her the message. She goes off by saying "You're mad at me because your card declined so your mad that you cant afford a $25 bucket of chicken". At the moment i told her get your boss the person you work for to handle this. As back and forth continues the "supervisor" or "security" comes up to me finally and already he's in defense mode rather than understanding the situation at hand. He's telling me that he's sorry I misinterpreted what she said. I told him its not a misinterpretation it's exactly what she said. I explained to him we came here to spend money (i pull out the stack of ones) and have a good night and you're treating me like im just a person that cant afford chicken. The conversation was geared towards me the customer who came to spend money as the bad guy in which was totally wrong. Seeing the conversation wasn't going anywhere i told him we will not spend any money in this establishment and you all can keep the bucket of chicken my lady paid for because the disrespect was just not right& will definitely not be tolerated especially being that im a PAYING customer. They charged us for the chicken & told my girlfriend we didnt pay for it when she has the receipt smh. Its crazy the difference between strip clubs here and down south. So I've heard about this club through yelp I am a executive for JP morgan and we had a retreat here in San Francisco and I decided to stop by with some of my colleagues I was approached by the guy at the door his name was Rick he was very respectful and he let us know the cover. No problem we walked and and was greeted by more bouncers and we paid to get in and they asked where did we want to sit and so I decided to sit somewhere in the middle, as we were seated we were rushed by a asian girl by the name of Lexi she seemed very nice and opened but then asked me to buy her a drink and when I declined she proceeded to call me cheap and laughed and then talked to my other guest she then got to a point where she asked me to go to a room and asked me for $2000 and said she also has drugs and assumed that I came for that she seemed very intoxicated by some sort of drug or alcohol it was dark so I couldn't make it out completely I then declined and she walked away very angry and aggressively. After some time I went to the bathroom and I had a runny nose and as I was going down to the bathroom I saw a gentlemen who was pretty tall by the name of berto or Alberto I'm guessing he was a manager by the way all the girls kept approaching him all night but he saw me sniffling and said his exact words are you on that white girl i have it if you need it I then said no I have a runny nose and then he laughed it off after coming back from the bathroom I decided to leave with my friends and went some place else to have drinks.. I've always wanted to come here because of their $5 fried chicken buffet at lunch, but didn't have a chance. Now I have even more of a reason to come back. I've always admired women's bodies more than men, they have always been alot more attractive to me. The ladies here are all super hot, friendly, and cute. This club is really classy unlike the other club on market street. I didn't feel like that much of a perv here. There isn't that much seating, so I can imagine it gets super packed on the weekends.
