I was in town for a convention last week and wanted to end my time in SF on a fun note. I told my cabbie that I have never been to a gentlemans club and he said, "I got just the place!" Club is well layed out and looked pretty busy. Almost instantly, this hottie named Jasmine approaches me and we quickly get a room... It was almost a bust night because none of my cards were working, apparently, this is a common trend at these clubs. Luckily, Jasmine was able to set me up with zelle and I was able from then on to transfer directly to her. I had such a great time and left with a smile on my face. So much, that my first review is to give praise to them. I would've given this place 5 stars, but there was creepy old bouncer always peeping through the curtain - made it a little awkward. I guess he thought something was going to happen, but she was in total control. Lol! Next time I am in San Francisco I know exactly where Im heading to and who I am going to see... I came to this club in 2019 and my experience was varied. I entered the club for 4 consecutive days and the atmosphere was beautiful and the girls were full of excitement. This is about the positive side, but there is a negative side also. Some girls treat them rudely, even if you pay the money and go with them for a special dance. You do not feel happy, but you feel cold and tense and also in The $100 dance and the $500 dance don't keep the girl on time and also unfortunately there are two girls who don't care about personal hygiene at all and this is disgusting and repulsive but there are very friendly girls in the club who are always smiling, I hope there is a careful selection of girls and maybe if I get the chance I will visit this club again to see if Conditions improved after the epidemic. read more

Approached 3 girls and they all had different prices, each more expensive than the previous one. Ok here's a real review and what everyone needs to know about this place. This place is an absolute scam palace. Be prepared to be ripped off by a team of fraudsters. They won't stop asking for more and more money and don't deliver ANYTHING they've promised. 1. Entry is $20 2. Place is booze free (Thank god because I can only image how badly they would try to scam drunk customers) 3. Half nude dance is $60-80. Full nude dance is $100-140. There's no set price. The girls look at you and determine how much they rip you off and will set the price. Pay anymore and you're being ripped off. I found this out the hard way with my first dance. 4. $500 for 15min privates upstairs where apparently it's "full service" and they have "hidden booze". Bunny got off the stage full nude and said she wanted to give me a "tour of the place" and we went to a back room. She explained a bunch of things as part of the service so I paid $190 for 10mins. None of them was delivered. The whole time she kept saying we should go to the $500 private room. I asked her to take her bottom off and she said that's full nude and wasn't included in the price and wanted more money. I told her that she said this was what she said she was going do and she said no that's only in the private. Of course later I found out all the other girls were doing full nude for $100-140. After 3 mins when the first song wasn't even finished, there was a knock on the wall and she said time was up. If I wanted more time I would have to pay $500. I was barely allowed to touch her during the whole time, she kept talking about more and more money, didn't dance, and it was all just BS. After working this out, several of the other girls tried to scam me but I had worked out their system. As soon as they realised you're not dumb enough to be scammed, they go sit back down together and won't come up to you for the rest of the night. They know they can't scam you so you're useless and leave you to get bored so you leave cause they've already made their money on the door from you. I know people in the industry so I found someone that worked there a few days later and one of guys that worked there spilled the beans. He told me the girls all huddle together instead of talking to customers because they tell each other who they can and can't scam. Saves each other trying. That's why they're all sitting together acting like idiots in the corner because they only approach you if you're dumb. The guy who works there also told me that he hears the girls talk out back all the time and it's always them laughing about who they scammed and how badly they scammed them. The record is apparently some idiot who walked in quite drunk and they kept milking him to a total of $10k and then sent him on his way. This place is a scam factory. Don't believe the BS other people are spitting below. I went to a few of the other clubs in the area and had such a better experience. Dropped so much cash but it was actually fun and worth it unlike this hole. read more

It was "Scandalous Sunday." We started the morning waking up with beers and knew it was just going to get so wrong (yet, oh so right). After a wonderful time at the Lusty Lady, we happened upon New Century Theater. I was really looking forward to learning some dance moves from the girls, but they weren't all that into dancing, nor were they into getting naked. One of the gals worked the pole pretty well, but after awhile, I thought I'd have to get onstage to keep the party moving. This place ROBS you. i think I went to the same place as other reviewrs.. $40 cover, $50 for BS VIP which is a table farther away from the stage. $10 beer that the host neglected to mention was NON-alcoholic. This place is full nude, so no alcohol at all. I knew the girls were scandalous as soon as I gave her a $50 and didn't get any change back. $40 lapdances with clothes on. Then when my girls asked for another $40 for a better time, she took it and didn't do anything. And she was a cold one at that. Not that I'm proud to admit it...but I've been to my fair share of strip clubs and New Century is among the worst. Here is why: They only play EDM...and while I was there, slower paced EDM. Maybe 2 songs of the 10 were "okay" for a strip club but the rest just made it painful. When I decided to try and ease the pain & requested a hip hop song, I was told they couldn't...not even if I offered a $100.00 tip (His words not mine. I only offered a $5.00 tip). He continued to say that maybe just prior to closing they'd be able to entertain requests. Well, because the music didn't feel appropriate, it made it hard to get too involved. The dancers seemed uninvolved as well. Very little eye contact, interaction, or smiling. And as my girlfriend said...not even a lil' bit of twerking. I'm wavering between 2.5 and 3. Here's why I rounded up...really nice bouncer/door man, and the since the girls weren't all that good-looking or great dancers I didn't really feel that compelled to look at them the whole time. In other words, as a woman I didn't feel that they guys in our party had totally forgotten that we were there, you know? Some were better than others (one in particular could really work the pole - in an acrobatic way, too), but overall I found myself watching the video screen (hot), talking to my husband & friends, and then watching the girls from time to time. It was kind of like background-music stripping. They don't serve alcohol, so you get the full-beaver view, right in your face if you want it (see Peter M's review). I think that's nice since we have gotten so used to looking at breasts and g-strings in our society, I feel that you kind of need something more to get your money's worth. ($30 for the guys, women get in free) There are a LOT of girls in there. I'm sure they make their money from lap dances, which are done in private. You can probably get a lot more than advertised here, just for asking. The place is kind of seedy, but harmless. Like the dive-bar equivalent of a strip club. It's right across the street from the nastiest park in the city, and I was not surprised to see an ambulance carting off some poor soul on the street corner at the end of the night. My suggestion? Go hang out at Olive bar before or after wards - that's what we did and it was a lot of fun, and helps shake the Tenderloin off of you a little. I'd go back to see a featured star. There is a reason why New Century is not on Broadway- it is a well ran gentlemen's club with actual hot girls. They come in all shapes and sizes to suit your taste- blonde, tall, petite, brunette, and/or exotic instead of Broadway variety which consists of "she's kinda hot if you don't look too close", "if I was really drunk and she was the last female alive" to "i wouldn't let my worst enemy touch her with a 10 ft pole". I love coming to New Century with a group of friends after a night drinking on Polk Street. We aren't ready to go home yet, but we also don't want to end up at the End Up. New Century is the perfect after hours spot- great music, attractive naked women all around, fully nude dances for a reasonable price( this still is the Bay Area after all ), as well as a top notch staff. The staff, management and dancers are always willing to go above and beyond to show us a good time. So if you are deciding between Broadway and New Century, remember that NCT stands alone for all the right reasons. I was determined to make this year the year I go to a strip club, and I did. It was overall a pretty good experience. All the staffs were nice and friendly. The environment was pretty laid back. I didn't get hassled (maybe cause I'm a girl.) General admission is $30 for guys but if you come with a girl friend, it's $40 for both. I have no clue how much they're gonna charge if I come here alone (not that I'm planning to.) The girls I saw on Sunday night weren't that pretty, but by no means they were ugly. Some of them were really good with the poles. Those are the ones worth my $$. They're all very friendly but you need to put that dollah on the dance floor to let them know you're interested. Just a few bucks they will dance all over you, shoving their ass right in front of your face. Highlight of the night: Peaches (on of the strippers) wrapped her legs around this guy's neck and hit his face repeatedly to her ass. I'm not sure if I will come back anytime soon. First to review a strip club....well....maybe because people don't want everyone to know they have been to one. Well, I figure everyone has to go to one at least ONCE right? Not that I'm a connoisseur on the subject, but I figure that this one is par for the course. I was hoping for happy bustling strip clubs you see in the movies. No sexy "Nip/Tuck" doctors, no glamorous girls who appear to be self empowered, confident and in complete command of their sexuality. No well lit, club like atmosphere where super human crime scene investigators find key information to solve a dramatic murder case. I'd say the reality has more of a cave-like vibe of desperation. They don't serve alcohol unlike in Hollywood strip clubs. Hollywood also doesn't mention the strange odor of a fog machine mixed with cheap perfume. I was impressed by some of the crazy stripper pole moves a few of the girls pulled off but most of them seemed like they were only doing this because there is a metaphorical gun pointed at their head. None of this inspired me to do anything but watch a few dances then get out of the more than slightly depressing cave. Overall, I think my strip club experience made me come to a conclusion that is far more simple than any of the analysis I have encountered in a variety womens studies or feminist discourse--I think being a stripper would suck.
