My technician, Jennifer, was amazing. I will admit, between work boots, running, and everyday activities, my feet are downright fugly! Somehow, Jennifer managed to make beauty out of my beast of toes. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience enjoyable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Angel. She was very friendly, animated, and you could tell she genuinely enjoys interacting with her customers. It is always nice to see an owner who is passionate about their business and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone in our group had a great experience, and we all left happy and relaxed. I can see why people keep coming back. If you're looking for a place with great service, talented technicians, and a fun and friendly environment, JB Nails & Spa is definitely worth a visit. This set is the perfect example--I originally wanted a cherry red cat-eye, but since they didn't have the exact shade, she suggested this gorgeous deep plum cat-eye with watercolor accent nails. It turned out even better than what I had pictured! Over the years she's created some of my favorite sets, including an ombré set with orange on one hand and green on the other using what felt like a dozen different shades, as well as a multicolored French tip that was absolutely stunning. Every appointment feels like getting custom artwork instead of just a manicure. The quality is just as impressive as the designs. My sets last, my rhinestones stay on, and if I ever have a rare lifting issue, they're always happy to fix it. That level of customer service keeps me coming back. The whole team is wonderful. Jennie, the owner, is amazing. If you want detailed designs, 3D hand crafted artsy nails Mindy and Natalie are the best! I've seen Mindy freestyle Sanrio characters by hand! She's so great. She always caters to her clients, remembers the smallest details, and is always lively. For pedicures, I highly recommend Mimi or Nani--they're both excellent--and Christine is wonderful as well. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and takes pride in their work. My favorite set from Mimi is when she gave me a multicolored french tip pedicure it was so beautiful! What disappointed me most was not simply that there was an issue with the nails things happen, and I understand that. It was the lack of accountability and the way the situation was handled when I came back. The salon was not busy at the time, and I genuinely feel that Natalie had the opportunity to take the time to properly correct the work, but instead I felt brushed off. For the prices being charged, I expected both quality work and better customer service when a concern was brought forward. I never want to feel as though I am simply another transaction, especially when I am spending my hard-earned money on a service and returning with a legitimate concern about the quality of the work. Since leaving, I have found another salon where I consistently feel valued as a client, my concerns are taken seriously, and the quality of the work reflects what I am paying for.
