We made our nail appt a few days in advance and got seated right away when we came in. I ordered the Volcano Spa and another person in my group ordered the Jelli spa. We also had 2 kids with us. It was a little warm in the room, but it wasn't hot. The massage chairs worked great. The water was the perfect temperature and I asked for it to be lukewarm. All of the staff were kind and friendly. I was in Elk Grove to get my car serviced, and while I was waiting, I had lunch and walked around the shopping center I was in. I saw this nail salon and looked them up. Appointment only. So I called and they got me an appointment in 30 minutes. Great! The salon is spacious and clean. I got a deluxe pedicure and the massage by my male technician was GREAT. It's not for the tender hearted, though. If you like a deep leg massage, this is the place. Toes came out beautiful. I'd definitely recommend going here. read more

Henry and Diane are the absolute best. We've now gone to them repeatedly and been pleased each time by the impeccable service and attention to detail. Oodles of color choices and fun upgrades that add to the experiences are fun too. We also love that the two we've chosen wear their masks proper and follow healthy protocols. The lost stars are for the following... We've seen estheticians cough, sneeze or blow their noses without washing their hands a few times each time while we were enjoying our treatments. Sucks the life right out of the room, especially when they're not wearing masks on top of those symptoms or appropriately covering mouth and nose while having those symptoms. And unfortunately we cannot control other patrons either but answering the phone and yelling loudly so the entire venue from front to back is in your entire conversation... not okay, wish more people had some home training. read more

I've been coming to omg for years to get my pedis and they have always done a fantastic job. I'm getting married so I wanted to get my nails done. I haven't gotten my nails done in years. Like at least 20! I had a pic of what I wanted. Pink with a glitter tip. My nail tech was Tee, and she did an amazing job. She showed me the different pinks, and the glitter/white and I picked what I thought looked good together. She did a beautiful job. Came here after I went down the street (I won't call them out) and my nails were already peeling off. Super disappointing OMG nails were able to squeeze me in. Walking in. It is kinda small and tight! But boy were they busy so it obviously seems like a popular place! And it is in a pretty crowded well known area I got cherry red nails! She was able to put powder onto my real nails without doing the length which was great! I liked the customer service. It was 45$ for the whole thing which in my opinion was a pretty decent price. This is a walk in random place I spotted next to Panera bread on bond rd. where I bought a drink and I stopped by to check it out. They told me to wait for 10 minutes and gladly, I didn't have to wait longer than that. My nails were done by Diane and she is awesome!! She took her time and didn't rush. My pedicure was great and she cleaned my toes well. she was very patient with all my requests and did an awesome job executing it. They have a whole wall full of different types and colors of nail polish. I did a powder and gel on my accent nail color with flower design with full set almond shape. Also, enjoyed their massage chair. The only reason I put a 4 star rating was the price is on the higher end which I get it. Today, I scoured the Yelp reviews since don't have time to travel and I was able to book same day with Tee. I'm EXTREMELY PLEASED with her technique and efficiency. First and last time going here. Gave it a try because of a recommendation from a coworker, Cherry worked on me, she was very nice but seems like she didn't know what she was doing. She said she's only been doing nails for 4 years, which is fine but it felt like I had to walk her through the steps. I went in for builder gel, which is what I always get, they tried giving me a brand that was more on the cheaper side, I've had issues of burning with it in the past, when I said I didn't want that one but the Zen brand, they all kinda acted dumb probably hoping I'd back down and use what they wanted, fortunately I knew what I was talking about and after a bit of back and forth my lady went into the back to grab the better brand of builder gel, it was never even opened let alone offered as an option. I then asked why they didn't or don't use that to begin with on their customers, I was ignored. I didn't push the topic any further. What I wanted was very simple, lavender nails, it took 4 people to figure out what I meant when I said a soft lavender nail. Even showed them a picture. They finally figured it out but my nails were lumpy after everything. She didn't file the bottom, and the nails looked so chunky even after I told her to make them thin. I finally just gave up, let it be whatever way it was, they were not horrible, I've had worse, but I ended up have to file them and shape them a bit after I came home. I hate having to do that and all in all I gave them a 30 dollar tip. It's only been a week but my nails have already chipped and my hair gets stuck meaning it's lifting which started about 3-4 days after getting them done. Usually, I keep my nails on for 3 weeks, and they don't start getting stuck in my hair until the third week. Unfortunately, I will not be going here again, review isn't to bash them, just to raise awareness how sometimes a nice relaxing time ends up becoming frustrating and unpleasant, hopefully they can educate their staff more and improve on quality. read more

6/17/2023 Took my mother here for the first time as a birthday present. She received their ultimate pedicure package that was 75 minutes. I called a week ahead to schedule the appt, received a confirmation text the day before the appt and on the day of when we walked in they knew exactly who I was. Loved the professionalism. The staff was very nice, the guy that did her pedicure was attentive and did exactly as she asked. From the looks of it, at 9am on a Saturday morning, every chair was filled. That's a testament in itself! The service was $65 before tip. This might be my new pedicure spot! I got a basic French pedicure almost a month ago and it is still holding strong. It was $35 as I got the French tip, otherwise it would have been $30. The pedicures are a little pricier than other places, but I don't mind since my pedicure has lasted long so far and the massage chairs were super comfortable. Also my technician took her time on my toes even though I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing, which I appreciated. It was pretty busy there on a weekday, indicating how popular they must be. You can call to make an appointment. Not all of the staff was wearing masks though which surprised me a little. But it wasn't required at the time, so I won't harp on it too much. The only thing that kind of bugged me was that my technician kept asking me if I wanted a manicure in addition to my pedicure. I didn't think anything of it when she asked me the first time, I just politely declined. However, she asked me TWO more times during my pedicure! Who does that? I think I would know ahead of time if I wanted a manicure haha also after I said no the first time, she shouldn't have asked me again and a third time. Also, when I first sat down she asked me if I was Vietnamese. It could have been an innocent question but it made me raise a brow as to why she was asking me that, and it was weird that that was the first thing she asked me. Despite all that though, I'd still come again because I really liked my pedicure and the massage. Side note, they don't accept cash for tips but they do have Venmo if you'd like to tip them through that app. read more

I came here for the first time to get a gel pedicure and acrylic overlay. I called and was able to do a walk in. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday early afternoon. My gel pedicure was okay. Not the best, but not horrible. The shaping of my toe nails could have been better and the nail tech kept filing the top of my toes while they were filing my toenails. For my acrylic overlay, I needed a soak off first. They let my nails soak for way too long! My fingers were starting to burn and just as I was about to call over the lady doing my nails, she came. You can see in the pictures that the skin on my fingertips are starting to peel. My nail beds were tender for almost 3 days, which is longer than I've ever experienced. They hurt pretty bad right after the overlay. I feel like the nail tech was rushing and not paying attention to how harshly she was filing my nail beds. She also cut me twice, on my ring and pinky finger. The photos showed them scabbed now, but the first day it stung so bad to even wash my hands or run them under water. Finally, the nail tech didn't clean off all the acrylic from underneath my nails making it look sloppy. So, 3 stars for the pedicure and final look of the overlay. Overall, my nails do look good but I wouldn't come back cause I don't want my nail beds to be hurting for days & don't want to get cut/burned again. read more

I gave them a shot in March of 2023 and have been here since! The facilities are clean, the nail techs take their time with you, and I appreciate them calling and texting to confirm your appointment. They honor appointment times and are honest if they don't have time available, which I'm very appreciative of. I've been to salons that overbook, causing me to wait 45 minutes beyond my appointment time, but never had this issue with OMG Nail Salon. This honestly had to be the worst experience t any nail shop hands down. First off - the ventilation in this place is non existent. The moment I walk in I was knocked down by the fumes. I went in for a nail dip and gel pedi. The nail tech was so rough with the nail drill it felt like she was drilling a hole through my nail bed. I told her several times and she just kept at it until I pulled my hand totally away. She did the same on my toes. When she went to clean my cuticles she was so rough she ended up cutting into me. The skin around my large toe was tender for a couple days after. When she went to give me a foot and leg massage I felt more like I was a chicken leg being seasoned for the air fryer Then when I asked her to match my nail color to my toe color she picks something pink rather than lavender. She also didn't understand what nail art I wanted despite showing her a photo. She just kept offering glitter polishes that didn't look anything like what I had showed her. To correct for doing the wrong color on my nails she ended up using the gel nail polish to paint over the dip which two days later was chipping off. The last and saddest part - she turned my long coffin shaped nails into short square shape :( Epic fail. Won't go back and I am totally baffled by the good reviews read more

The menu and sample colors were given to me as I soaked my feet. The prices were on point. Not too cheap and not too expensive for a good massage chair and great service. I wasn't rushed out. I was sat down at another station by the door to stick my feet underneath fans and ultraviolet light devices to dry. I immediately noticed how clean this salon is and that they definitely sanitize and clean. I received both a mani and pedi from Lana who I just love!! The first time I went, I had gel done but opted to not do gel my second time. Even though it lasted about three weeks and might've gone longer if my finger nails had not grown so quickly, I am just not thrilled to do an upkeep anymore every three weeks.
