Julio has been at this store for a few years and his customer service is Top Notch. Vans are great afforfable casual shoes and they are also quite versatile I wear them for long bike rides too. Their sales keep me coming back I usually get either the Classic Slip on or the Skate Slip on which has Pop Cush insoles for added cushion and comfort. This store is usually pretty busy, and constantly has great sales with a decent selection of clearance items. It can be difficult to get photos without having random strangers so no photos included for this review. The staff has been friendly the few times I've shopped here, and this is my destination in the valley for Vans as they have both great prices and a good selection. read more

I'm really just here to write this review about the amazing customer service. Huge shout out to Julio, Julia, and Chris. My husband and I were looking for new shoes all over the mall. We went into at least 6 stores. Out of the 6, 2 of them greeted us. The rest didn't even acknowledge that we were there. I had commented to my husband how bad the customer service was at Arizona mills mall. Like no one wanted to be there. UNTIL we walked into the vans store. We were instantly greeted by Julia, as we split up and shopped around Julia checked in with my husband and told him about their sales. Julio asked me how I was doing and if I found anything, just making friendly conversation even. I didn't find my size, so he went above and beyond and looked in the back. I would have given up and just walked out of there without purchasing anything. Chris rang us up and was also super helpful and friendly. Vans also offers a military discount and this store had a ton of clearance and a great sale on top of the clearance. read more

First off, I've been wearing Vans since the 80's...I use to buy them from the Bare Cover years ago. Also the Vans store at Metro Center. My experience at at Arizona Mills tonight was awesome. I lucked up on Efren and Val. They should be employee trainers for customer service. They went above and beyond. I'm color blind, they took their time helping me out not only shoes but socks to match. Very patient individuals, while the store was crowded. Even as they were about to go home. I went into this store yesterday (9/20) on the hunt for a specific look. I casually mentioned this to the "bouncer" and homeboy got on his walkie talkie and told his team what to search for and what size. By time I got into the store Eric W greeted us to get a few more details on what I needed, then went to work on finding the perfect shoe. Him and everyone in the back sifted through so many shoes, presenting maybe 15+ different styles and were eager to help rather than seem bothered. We didn't end up finding exactly what I was envisioning, but with their killer deals I couldn't pass up a pair of unicorn shoes (which my pediatric patients are sure to love) and a cute sweatshirt. I wish I had everyone's names from that shift. I was honestly blown away with how great everyone was, it was like a Dutch Bro's experience at a Vans store. Give these guys a raise! read more

What a joke! THEY DONT CLOSE AT 10 !!!!! THEY CLOSE AT 9 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even so, we were 2 minutes past 9 and the lady who worked there straight shut us down and lacked the door as soon as we walked up to the door. Ripped up shoes caused me to try this Vans store out and so I came here and employees helped me find the shoes and sizes I needed. This location is normal sized and has good selection of Vans shoes. She was so patient with me and helpful and even recommended me shoes. She's such a great worker and I'm very happy that I was able to get her as a sales person. I was there to buy my nine year old shoes and it was a little busy. There was a sale going on so I also picked out some but we didn't get shoes that went with the sale so a sales associate named Sam (Samuel D) came up and immediately started to try and solve our problem. By this time my son had gotten a attitude and I was explaining he might pick out another pair and we would look, but he took control of the situation and dealt with my son better than I've ever seen anyone handle him when he's done with a situation. He took my son back to the shoes and brought him some shoes in his size and began showing him shoes. We stayed in the front and my son liked a pair so he had him try them on and waved them over to me to show me and I gave a thumbs up. Less than five minutes later they came to the front with a pair of shoes that my son liked. And he checked us out and we were out of there! When we got to the car my son even said "mom let me have my shoes!" And he held them the whole way home. I'm really thankful for Sam's help. That situation could have became very aggravating very quickly and he really took control and helped us leave with exactly what we went there for plus a pair of shoes for me as well. To top it off we got two pairs of shoes for $75!! Thank you Sam!! I highly recommend him if you have pain in the butt boys who don't like to shop! read more

It's about time they revamped this store! Previously it was messy, chaotic and dirty. Now it's clean, organized and actual places to sit and try to Vans!! We've always come here for back to school Vans and they always have a buy one get one at 50%off. The selection has diminished but their prices are still good. One annoying salesman who was working the shoe section wouldn't leave us alone! He lacked customer service skills and we tried to avoid him. Now that store is nicer we will be back more often! read more
