This newer receptionist was complaining that I did not answer my phone, that I needed a refill for a medication from a doctor who no longer works in the office and belittle me over making my yearly appointment. Besides the very unfriendly and miserable new receptionist, I'd recommend Dr. Dicker to anyone!

They not only cared for my child medically, but they also gave us reassurance and comfort during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. And the nurses--WOW! It works by giving the surgeon a magnified, 3D high-definition view of the surgical site while they control robotic arms with instruments from a console." Dr Michael Pitter (RIP) was my Doctor who performed this masterful work. The nursing staff was simply divine with their TLC, compassion and professionalism kindness towards me. I was preparing to have my Mammogram and Ultrasound done. However, I was informed by my scheduler at Columbia Doctors that I needed my images from my last mammogram (2014) with Hackensack University Medical Center. Today, nothing has changed with the remarkable, caring, positive staffers, that give TLC as their standard. A professional body of heartwarming staff at Hackensack University Medical Center. I called and requested my images. They returned the call the next day, and my images and report were ready. I drove to NJ, got my ticket stamped for free parking from the Breast Cancer Screening Center. Dropped off my images to Columbia Doctors on West 51st Street in the heart of Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall (so cool). At the end of the movie, it was a joyous experience that made me feel truly gratefully happy and cared for by Hackensack University Medical Center and Columbia Doctors/NY Presbyterian Hospital. I simply called to verify that the order had been received before making the trip to the laboratory. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, I was met with a patronizing response: "Listen, I know you work here, but..." Whether I work for the hospital or not is irrelevant. As a patient, I was calling with a legitimate question and expected to be treated with the same courtesy, professionalism, and respect afforded to every other patient. A simple confirmation of whether the order had been received would have been sufficient. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that future interactions reflect the level of professionalism patients should expect from the laboratory staff. I would not go to this location again unless I was desperate since it happens to be the closest to my home. Waste of time and energy. Definitely go to a different location.

I had an 8 am appointment and I was seen almost immediately after being checked in. The ultrasound technician who works with me was Rebecca - I believe. She was so incredibly patient with me and explained every step of the process. I was nervous and they made sure to ask me if I was okay, if I was comfortable and I really needed that that day! The facility was clean and the waiting room had coffee and tea for the patients who were waiting. There was also a tv, magazines and lockers to stow your belongings.

Consider they are pretty busy all the time. I was able to get a same date appointment with my doctor. I scheduled online which was easier than before (I had to call before they had the upgrades). The staff, nurses and doctors are always nice and caring. They listen to your concerns and perform/order necessary tests. Prescriptions will go to your pharmacy electronically. I would recommend the primary care and walk-in here.
