no urine labels and no lids and urine cups are in the same cabinet.

Worst experience ever! Very unprofessional and unsanitary. Dr. Asiryan is not knowledgable of basics with vaccines and what is available, and her assistant is rude. She and her assistant speak Armenian together while doing an invasive procedure on you! So you have no idea what they are saying unless you speak their language, which is inappropriate in any professional setting, and even worse when it comes to your health. Appointments are not honored. How are patients required to have an appointment and the only doctor at center is Dr. Asiryan and can randomly leave on-call for baby deliveries so your appointment time is never guaranteed, which poses a health risk for procedures that you may need, that may not happen at a timely basis since you will need to reschedule and can be a couple of months' wait, and your scheduled time off from work may be a waste. When they collect urine, there is no lid and the urine cups are in a cabinet, together, and no labels for identification. When you call to confirm your appointment, the receptionist says you're confirmed without even asking who you are and when your appointment is. They schedule to do your procedure and perform your procedure before even putting the request in for your insurance to see if you can get approved for it. I asked what happens if it is not approved and the procedure is already done, and the receptionist said it will probably get approved and said, "You have PPO, right?" I said no, I have HMO, and she just said, "oh, don't worry though." Ummm... What the heck? I don't know how Dr. Asyrian and her "practice" stays in business! I would give zero stars if that was an option. Dr. Asiryan should not be in this field with how careless she and her staff are.

Dr. Asiryan is truly the best and I couldn't be more grateful for the care she provided during my second pregnancy and C-section. Her attentiveness, efficiency, and genuine compassion made me feel completely confident and supported every step of the way. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure that everything is handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Her staff is equally wonderful, kind, and always welcoming, which made every visit a positive experience. I continue to trust and return to her because she consistently goes above and beyond for her patients.

Dr. Asiryan is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. From my very first pregnancy appointment, she explained everything step by step and patiently answered every single question without ever rushing. The office is spotless, and the staff is very kind and professional. She delivered my baby via C-section, and the entire procedure took only about 30 minutes. I was amazed! It was such a smooth and clean C-section. Thank you so much, Dr. Asiryan

Update on my first review. She prescribed my medication for HRT but my pharmacy said they're discontinuing that product and it also was not covered by my insurance so I wanted a new prescription of a different HRT product so I called the doctor office at 9 AM Friday to have the doctor prescribe a new medication for me and I never heard back. I'm on my last patch so this is not good. Especially knowing the weekend was coming she should've called. Will update my review again when I call them again on Monday.

Dr. Asiryan is truly the best gynecologist I've ever had. She is caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in her patients' well-being. After switching between a few doctors, both in Armenia and in the states, I finally found someone who makes me feel completely comfortable and heard. She takes the time to explain everything and always goes above and beyond in her care. I've recommended her to so many friends and family because she truly is an exceptional doctor.

I am beyond grateful for my amazing OB-GYN, who delivered all three of my babies. Her expertise, compassion, and attentiveness made each pregnancy and delivery a wonderful experience. She truly goes above and beyond to make her patients feel comfortable and cared for. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her by my side through this journey. The office girls are really nice and always helpful as well!

Dr. Asiryan provided exceptional care throughout my pregnancy and during my C-section delivery. She was calm, compassionate, and made me feel completely safe and supported every step of the way. Thanks to her expertise and kindness, both my baby and I had a smooth, positive experience that I'll always be grateful for.

AVOID THIS OFFICE! Doctor does not take the time to learn who her patients are. The front office staff is stuck up and rude. It's hard to get a hold of the office via phone. When they do answer they try to get you off the phone right away. I have made multiple complaints to my insurance regarding this Doctor. Treated my first pregnancy and missed so many red flags! You are just a number at this office. No compassion or care whatsoever.

The office really follows COVID-19 guidelines. Feeling very safe visiting there. Mask is required. Limited seating in the waiting room. The Service: Staffs are efficient & short wait time. Dr. Asiryan is very friendly & professional. Super efficient as well~ The exam is finished in no time. New patient doesn't even need to fill out any form physically. The nurse does the Q&A on the iPad. Love the technology! The Parking: Parking behind the building & street parking (free)

He said my Pap smear was "slightly abnormal" and immediately ordered a COLPOSCOPY without testing for HPV or explaining what "slightly abnormal" meant. Not to mention I am only 25 years old. He told me I "probably have HPV and it could be cancerous," which left me in tears after the appointment. A colposcopy is invasive and usually recommended based on the severity of results and confirmed high-risk HPV -- neither of which were explained or confirmed in my case. I sought a second opinion from my female gynecologist back home, had a full STD and HPV panel done, and everything came back completely normal. No further procedures were needed. I left feeling scared and pressured rather than informed or cared for. I would not recommend this doctor based on my experience.

Pros: -He is exceptional at answering questions in person and making sure you fully understand the answers. -He helped me discover that my increasing migraines were linked to the hormonal birth control I was on and he was helpful in attempts to find a decent replacement that fit for me (when I was in need of BC). -Office staff have over all been very kind. -I had a miscarriage scare recently and he went above and beyond to help me understand the situation and what I could expect going forward. Cons: -Luckily I am still pregnant but since Dr. Rabin no longer delivers, I will have to find a new OBGYN for the next year at least. -His brand of humor may be off putting to some people. -I did have to follow up frequently whenever I need to make an appointment for sudden issues like UTIs and YIs. -Parking for the building he is located in sucks. I've been dealing with hormonal imbalance for the past four months. I'm currently with Kaiser and have seen nine different doctors, most of whom suggested anti-anxiety or antidepressant medication. However, I knew something deeper was going on. What I initially thought were panic attacks at night turned out to be hot flashes. I often felt dismissed and unheard, which was incredibly frustrating. My wife helped me research other options, and that's when we found Thrive. After reading so many positive reviews, I felt hopeful that I had finally found a place where I would be seen and heard. My first visit with the doctor was positive. She listened to my concerns and ordered bloodwork. However, after completing my labs, I had difficulty getting a follow-up appointment. My calls were not returned, and I eventually had to use the emergency text number just to get a response. I was told I had a phone appointment scheduled at 11 AM, but I never received a call. When I followed up, they offered me an in-person appointment later that day, which I accepted. During that visit, the doctor reviewed my labs and told me a pharmacist would contact me the next day to start testosterone treatment. Unfortunately, I never received that call. I want to be clear that I'm not trying to be difficult, but dealing with hormonal issues has significantly impacted my quality of life. I've been experiencing sleepless nights, restlessness, irritability, bladder issues, and an overall sense that I'm not functioning at my best. Given that this is an out-of-pocket service, the lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. I've since called and emailed multiple times without any response. Additionally, when you call their office, it goes straight to a generic voicemail that doesn't clearly identify the business, and messages are not returned. It feels like you have to constantly follow up just to get basic communication and even then, responses are inconsistent. I also want to add that I typically don't write reviews like this. However, if you are struggling the way I have been, I wouldn't want another woman to go through what I've experienced. I truly believe women should support one another and take each other's concerns seriously, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.

However, her office staff are slow to respond and when you do get someone on the phone they are condescending and unhelpful. I had an extremely hard time confirming my initial appointment. Most doctors offices these days send out reminders via email or text at least a week in advance of your appointment. When I did not receive a confirmation or reminder I reached out to the office by phone and email multiple times and no one responded to my emails or voicemails. I did not want to take time off of work for an appointment that wasn't confirmed and when I finally got someone on the phone I could practically feel her rolling her eyes at me as she told me they only confirm the day before. Okay, fine, but they could have emailed me back or called me back to answer my question instead of ignoring it for a week. Then I was billed three times for the same amount over the course of three months after I had already paid the bill. When I called the office to ask why my check hadn't been cashed and I was still being billed, the staff answering the phones was incredibly rude and told me to "take a breath" after I calmly explained my issue. I had already left a voicemail about the issue a few days before and no one called me back. Save yourself the headache and find a practice that employs responsive staff that can schedule effectively and bill effectively.

When those tests came back negative, I felt like there was no plan and no curiosity about what else could be going on. I also requested documentation for a workplace accommodation due to ongoing discomfort, and that request was dismissed in a way that felt unsympathetic and invalidating. I was referred to this office for my first pregnancy and when I went in for my first ultrasound at 7 weeks, the baby was measuring at only 5.5/6. Dr. Tamayo was skeptical that I knew when I ovulated, and believed that it was just too early. When I told her that I was tracking my ovulation and even showed her my calendar, she laughed nervously and then just kept saying, "Well if you think you know, then..." but wouldn't finish the sentence. I was sent for HCG testing at a separate lab, two days apart. On the day I was to receive a call about my HCG results, the office's phone lines were down. Every time I called I got a "Call Failed" notice. I was so desperate for information that I called another office in the same building and asked if they could go to the office and see what was going on. I was told that their phone lines were just "down," and that they would call on Monday. This was a Thursday. There was seemingly no recognition of the stress this situation could cause a patient and no effort made to contact me to alleviate any of it (I'm pretty sure someone in the office had a cell phone they could have used). Once I got the call on Monday, I was told that my HCG looked good and to come back in a week. I felt like something wasn't right, though, and pushed to speak to Dr. Tamayo. Melina then got very impatient with me, telling me that the Dr. didn't have time to talk to me on the phone because I was "one of many patients, and if she talked to the phone with every one of them, she wouldn't have time for appointments." Feeling pretty appalled and brushed aside, I snapped and told her just get me an appointment, after which she told me that I needed to treat her like a human being. My thoughts were, "likewise!" It turned out that the baby wasn't growing and I went forward with Misoprostol to miscarry at home, per Dr. Tamayo's orders. I went in for a follow-up 3 weeks later, where Dr. Tamayo informed me that the miscarriage was complete. However, I continued to feel sick. A month and a half later I ended up in the ER, where a much more thorough ultrasound showed that I had leftover pregnancy tissue in my uterus. I ended up getting a D&C with a different doctor, because at this point I had lost all trust in Dr. Tamayo and her office. A miscarriage is painful enough without the added pain of feeling ignored, and trivialized by your doctor. Moreover, there is no after hours line where you can call and get advice from a doctor. You are basically told that if you aren't having a life threatening emergency, you can't talk to anyone outside of business hours, but as my story proves, you can barely talk to anyone inside business hours, either! It also bothers me that no one ever answers the phone at the office. You have to call and leave a voicemail and then Melina calls you back later. If anyone has bothered to read this review this far, know that I believe Dr. Tamayo to be a capable doctor, but one who has no business working in obstetrics if she can't commit to after hours care, reliable phone lines for her patients, and empathetic staff who can handle difficult situations. I would definitely not recommend this office to anyone, especially for first-time pregnancies
