I have three kids, all who attend speech twice a week at Jump Start and I've seen most of the therapists there. They are all lovely. They CARE about my kids, their interests, they hug them with genuine love and affection. They treat every single patient whether 1 or 21 with RESPECT. Besides having taken those Spanish classes MANY years ago, I just never used it outside of school. Now more than ever, I really want to learn Spanish. I want to USE my Spanish. And I want to be able to communicate with Spanish speakers here and abroad. So that is what I'm doing... I'm beginning to learn all over again. ...And the process to get started was VERY easy. I called the number, spoke with Karina (the owner - who is a very lovely person, btw), told her about my Spanish speaking experience, and she told me when and where. I first began taking classes once a week, but now I am taking them twice a week. (You have the option to do either). I have had the same teacher the entire time, and she is a wonderful lady as well, Martha. I am in a small group. It is more of a tutoring environment, which I find to be much more conducive to learning. It doesn't matter what level you are at, they have a class for everyone. If you can't even count to 5 in Spanish...there is a class for you. If you speak a little Spanish or are advanced....they have a place for you also. They make sure that you are in a group where you feel comfortable with the level of Spanish that you are learning, so you don't feel overwhelmed or not being pushed enough (if that is what you desire). They offer Spanish classes for children also. I don't know much about these, as I have no children...but I do know, when I happen to glance in on their classroom while I'm going to mine, or happen to see them leaving, they sound and look happy. They also have a user friendly website. I pay for my class through that website, and it takes less than a minute to make the payment. Overall, it is a good learning and practicing environment. The teachers are helpful and enthusiastic. They have a great energy. I honestly have ZERO complaints about this program! Don't hold yourself back...if you've thought about learning Spanish...give this program a try!

My son had another kid bite him 2 or 3 times, the teachers and some of them are really good would not stay in the room, you'd always see one them assigned to the kitchen to cook meals or at the front office but not in the class room. I had problems with ants in the playground with my son several times, and ok I understand, it's outside but nothing was done "properly" to solve the issues with ants. It's just sad to see some passionated teachers without supPort to do a good job. We moved to another school that we love with several other kids from CCY who also had some of the same problems.

Kumon is worth every penny and I can contribute most his reading success to Kumon. Now my 8 year old daughter who was diagnosed with dyslexia 8 months ago has been enrolled at Kumon for over a year now as well and I am beyond happy with her improvement. Mr. Milad is a wonderful instructor and he truly cares for his students. He is always willing to work with them in anyway that allows them be successful and is very calm and patient.
