Let's be honest. Shaved ice isn't that hard to get wrong. Plus, it's expensive. I feel guilty spending so much on frozen water sometimes Lol. However, people seem to love it , regardless. So, if you like shaved us ( like my kids do), Vayla's is a good choice. They've got great flavor combos and the syrups themselves have a nice taste to them. A little bit beyond just the sugary syrup you often get with this type of dessert. Aside from that, service was great and they were exercising all precautions with the pandemic. Recommended.

You can't go wrong with some shaved ice on a hot sunny day here in South Florida. This spot offers a variety of flavors with a few toppings to choose from as well. Shaved ice has become a guilty pleasure of mine... Lol, it's definitely nostalgic especially if you grew up here in South Florida. If you find yourself in the Falls or are in the area this is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth! I spent around $11 when I came with my boyfriend and we got a water bottle as well so it's definitely inexpensive. I highly recommend this spot.

The shaved iced was delicious and the customer service was great. Perfect for a hot summer day. Also in a great location in The Falls Mall. We will be back : )

Clean little place at the falls that was taken over by a frozen yogurt spot. A different twist on shaved ice. Can select your size, stuffing, flavor and topping. My kids love shaved ice. My kids approved and we will be returning.

I have never heard of a place that does snow cones. They usually sold on the side of the road or in the stadium. I was very impressed. They have a wide variety of choices of flavors and toppings. All flavors are not artificial flavors either. They even have flavors that don't dye your clothes too. Which is wonderful for children, and their clothes lol . Store located right by the Michael Kors Store in The Falls Mall...

Wow! That's all I have to say!! I grew update on shaved ice but Kimberly takes it you the next level !! Her ideas are amazing taking Shaved Ice creations to the next level ! As we were talking, she was creating new ideas that each sounding tantalizing and better than the one before! She did say she will take customer's ideas. You need to hurry so you too can get your favorite creation on the wall!! Great spot ! Family friendly, cheerful and extremely friendly! Great place to be creatively 'cool' ! I know you too will enjoy it like I did! I definitely will be a repeat customer!!!

So I loved the texture of this shaved ice, very thin but heavy and dense. Not like a snow cone where it's bits of ice. The portions are huge! The small is almost like a quart of Chinese food. Price I guess is reasonable since it's trendy but overpriced for ice. There are plenty of flavors to choose from along with different combinations. There isn't really anywhere to sit inside or right outside.

Very good. Check out the sign below.. gluten, high fructose corn syrup, kosher and natural flavor options for a sno cone or flavored ice place! The world for eating is getting better and healthier!! I did the guava and the family had lemon lime and cherry... added some coconut based cream topping.... haven't seen this before....YUMMY!!

Yummy!

The gourmet shaved ice is just delicious, one of the best so far! I got the root beer float and loved it. Anything with condensed milk taste yummy. Great place for the kids.

The owner is very friendly and great at giving recommendations . They have over 50 flavors and some sugar free ones which I found very cool . It is in a nice small place but very neat and organized . I would 10/10 recommend stopping by if you are near by you won't regret it . Great amount of shaved ice for the price !

Deeeelish!!!

I took that as a signed and stopped to have lunch there. My first impression when I walked in is that I could not believe how much the menu had changed. Once I saw all the bowls option, i decided not to have a burger. I tried the featured dish chimichurri bowl and I really liked it. It was very filling. The only thing is that I wish it had more meat and onions. The place appeared to be clean and the service was good. The dish took a bit to come out but I did not mind it, as I take that as a sign that it is freshly made. I definitely have to return to have the burger with the queso frito, which used to be my favorite.

I like the wall decor & have found the overall cleanliness to be fine. Every dine in experience I have had has been a roll of the dice. The register staff is hit or miss with their customer service & can often give a vibe like they're being annoyed by customers existing. Recently, was trying to enjoy a nice meal & the music playing was far too loud to hold a conversation at our table. We mentioned it was a bit loud & nothing was done about it. I'm ok with music, & especially if it keeps staff & guests in a good mood but there comes a point where you need to realize it isn't a club or bar & keep it to a volume that your patrons dining in can speak to each other. I'll still give 4 out of 5 Stars because the food is actually really good. Management, please take notice & have your staff do better for your dine in guests.

Started off with a smooth Malbec while my daughter had a small chicken Caesar salad. We also ordered the homemade burrata and the beef carpaccio to start, and both were legit. Fresh, flavorful, no BS, just done right. My wife ordered the Pasta Nona with chicken, mushrooms, and truffle oil, and honestly that dish was ridiculous. That's the one I'm still thinking about. Creamy, earthy, rich without going overboard. Whoever's running that kitchen knows what they're doing. I had the braised ravioli and threw on a little red pepper flake because, well, Miami Cuban over here, everything needs a little kick. Perfect call. Super flavorful and comforting without feeling heavy. Then dessert showed up and things got dangerous. Chocolate lava cake, tiramisu with Heath bar on top, and a giant double espresso to finish the night like an adult with responsibilities pretending not to care about sleep apnea. And shoutout to Justin, who absolutely nailed the service all night. Cool dude, attentive without hovering, paced everything perfectly, and made us feel taken care of from beginning to end. Dinner for the three of us with wine, dessert, and espresso came out to around 200 bucks, and honestly? Worth it. We'll definitely be back.

We were immediately welcomed and seated right away. The attention from the staff was great. The server said happy birthday to my friend as soon as we sat down. I also loved how everyone who was leaving the restaurant, would say bye to us. It felt like we were all friends. They also played music that made the environment more welcoming. As an appetizer, we tried the fried calamari. From the moment they brought it to the table and I smelled it, I knew it was going to taste good. And I was right. The calamari was big and delicious. It's the best and freshest calamari I've had. To eat, I tried the Risotto Dolce Vita and it was phenomenal. The shrimp that it came with were big and tasty. All the flavors from the dish combined very well together making this dish the best risotto I've tried. When it was time for dessert, the staff sang happy birthday to my friend as they brought a chocolava. They wrote happy birthday on the plate, which I thought it was nice detail. The chocolate cake was warm and moist and it paired very well with the vanilla ice cream. I absolutely loved my experience here and I plan to return.

And don't get me started about their Pizookie desserts. I have tried several, and they ran from outstanding to decadent. Not a single one I would not be happy with. A lot of times they only order apps. I have tried many and the shrimp is the absolute best but the nachos are good and the combination platter is outstanding. When watching the football game, these appetizers are the perfect comfort food to get you through the first half. The second half is the opportunity to try one of the meals. On non game days, I go with the unlimited soup and salad which comes with the mini Pizookie. I choose the chili and for a small up charge I'll often get a bread bowl for the first serving. Hey foodies! This…read morereview is a little extra special to me because this place has been special to my husband and me for years... even though they have no idea! Gyu-Kaku is hands down one of our favorite restaurants. Anytime we find out we're in an area that has one, we always make it a priority to go. We've been eating here for about 14 years, and somehow it never gets old! If you've never been, it's a Japanese BBQ restaurant where you grill your own food right at your table, making it such a fun and interactive dining experience. One of the best parts? Their all-day Happy Hour on Sundays! You can choose between their all-you-can-eat menu with set pricing or order items individually. We always order à la carte because we love trying all our favorites. We started with the Fried Bacon Chips and Miso Wings, and baby... chef's kiss! For our sides, we ordered the Garlic Rice and Garlic Noodles. They are definitely shareable, and they prepare them for you. They are packed with flavor! For seafood, we went with the shrimp. Now for the meats... we ordered the New York Strip, Ribeye, Garlic Basil Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken. Every single bite was worth it. Let's just say... I needed to be rolled out of there! And yes, I happily took leftovers home and enjoyed them again the next day. And if you enjoy a good cocktail with your meal, Gyu-Kaku definitely doesn't disappoint. Their drink menu has plenty of delicious options to pair with your BBQ. After 14 years of eating here, I can honestly say this place has never let us down.
