The yard was not immaculate it was a mess! There were multiple nails, screws, acorns, glass were all left behind when Tyler claimed the yard was cleared. He's claiming I posted pics of one nail, I posted pics of multiple nails along with screws and later I'll post the glass I found as well. Tyler, you claimed to clean the yard there shouldn't have been ANY nails, screws or glass. The acorns were also not picked up. Don't waste your money with this horrible business. They're thieves. Read the one star reviews. One woman was forced to pay before the work was done and they didn't do anything adequate job. Tyler is apparently very rude and unprofessional as well. VanBebber Landscaping, LLC PO Box 11 Twin Peaks, CA92392 909-337-9228 Recently, my wife and I had some heavy work done in order to clear our 130 foot driveway of the massive amount of mud, rocks, and small boulders that had fallen into it for about two years. We used to have a company that did this work for us, but for the last two years, they failed to keep up with it, and it was getting worse and worse, to the point that we could scarcely get our vehicles in and our of the driveway! Then, we found VanBebber Landscaping. I called them, and made an appointment to see if they were capable of doing the heavy work that we needed done. Tyler and his guys arrived on time, and I walked them around the property, showing them what we needed them to do. They talked amongst themselves, and took a few measurements, then told me that they would get me an estimate very soon, which they did! Remember, this was very heavy work, so the cost was not inexpensive. But, we decided to give them a try, and we are VERY happy that we did! On the appointed day, Tyler, and his guys, once again, arrived on time to begin their work. I watched them, now and then, and none of them were leaning on a shovel, but rather all were working, hard, to accomplish this heavy task on which they toiled! All the mud had to be shoveled into wheel barrows, and taken over to an adjacent lot, which is part of our property, and dumped there. All the rocks, and small, heavy boulders, had to be moved to the opposite side of our property, and lined up to protect our street lamp from damage done by careless drivers who come down our steep street, way too fast, and slam their vehicles into that area! It's happened at least 100 times in all the years we've lived in our mountain home! Tyler and his guys also dug out the dirt and mud that was on top of, and behind our brick retaining wall, so that we would have a "catch space" for some dirt, mud, and rocks, this Winter. All in all, VanBebber Landscaping did an OUTSTANDING job, and really went over and above the duty, to make sure that our driveway would once again be fully usable and safe, and that we would be happy with the results! If you have landscaping work that needs to be done, I would not hesitate to recommend VanBebber Landscaping to you. They are polite and courteous, and very professional. They return phone calls, and text questions, quickly and efficiently. And, they work hard to make sure that you, the customer, are happy with the results! CYD Landscaping (formerly Chris' Yard and Hauling) was taken over by VB Landscape (owned by Tommy Van Beber) several years ago. I've done business with this firm for over 15 years and this year Tommy decided to steal from me. He came out and gave me a bid for the annual fire abatement work. I usually work with Tommy's son, Tyler, but Tommy apparently decided to take over our account. I made the mistake of paying in advance for work to be done the next day. The job wasn't half done. Slash was left all over my property. I heard later that the crew hadn't even come with a truck to haul away the debris. Two months of calling, texting and threatening have produced nothing and my property is still a mess. I can no longer recommend this company. And feel free to ignore the 5 star rating. They were responsive and were able to accommodate last minute request, for example a snow removal after a snow storm. I'm giving them 2 stars, which is already super generous, because these people will for sure rip you off and they won't be realistic at all. For just 1st time and also last time (one time only) service, it's ok. But definitely NOT for long term. They charged almost $400 to remove snow while your guests already did so much removal. I for sure won't recommend this business to anyone unless you have nowhere to waste your money. They are super dishonest and super cocky and ask you to pay right away as if you are not able to afford what you asked to get done. I have been wanting to writ this review for 10 months! Probably the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. The gentlemen I believe goes by the name Tom was the RUDEST individual I've EVER conversed with over the phone. He seemed as though he was CERTAINLY under the influence of some substance and came off as a sketchy New York watch salesman. Must I add the delivery guy he sent could barely speak and wreaked of alcohol on arrival. In the end the firewood was wet and I was shorted. Over all, over priced, RUDE BEYOND COMPARE and was shorted on my "wet" wood. Not to mention the delivery driver was driving under the influence with a load of wood which is extremely neglectful and put many lives at risk. Never will I recommend them. If the're unable to deliver wood properly I can only imagine what their landscaping services would entail. read more

CYD Landscaping, formerly known as Chris' Yard Detail, offers a snow removal service. If you decide to work with them, prepare to be lied to, yelled at and cheated. We had contracted with them with the season and asked that our driveway be cleared in advance of our coming to our house. We were told it was cleared only to arrive and find that a "parking space" only had been cleared at the bottom of the driveway, and it was not big enough. When we called to find out about why the driveway was not cleared as reported, the owner sent a guy out and he cleared a little more space at the bottom of the driveway and a walkway. Unfortunately, he left 1/2" of ice on the path and dumped a bunch of snow in the middle of the driveway. The next morning, we asked when the driveway would be cleared, and the owner responded that "we would have to wait" until their snow blowers were repaired. When we called for an ETA on the snow blowers, the owner did not even say hello but launched into a tirade about how impatient we were (for a service that was reportedly done two days prior) and continued his tirade without responding to the question when he thought this blowers would be ready. Since the half done driveway was now quite treacherous and their blower was out of commission, we worked on it ourselves. When we were nearly done, their team arrived to clear the driveway. We told them not to worry because we were almost done. The owner then calls leaving a message in which he says that "he is done with us" and "how dare we clean our own driveway." CYD's owner knows nothing of customer service, and he lies whenever he can. read more

After my mother Died I had a mountain of stuff that needed to be taken. Due to timing we were worried about getting everything in one day and one day was literally all I had. These guys showed up in force with a flatbed truck. They slammed the huge stuff down to the dump before it closed and without charging any extra held on to the second load in the truck for later. Did me a solid, had a great attitude the whole time and made what was an emotionally tough day and a seriously huge move into a breeze. 10/10 will be calling them again.
