Last time I was in Vec Tire, Zack, the service advisor, offered excellent service and advice. My tire was smoking, and I wasn't sure what was going on. The very next day, I drove my SUV to Vec Tire and Phil, the service tech, evaluated my SUV. The braking system needed to be replaced, and the axle needed to be repaired. Zach gave offered good price for repairs, and my vehicle was up and running a few days later. My SUV runs great and I feel the entire team there are honest and open with their customers. read more

Was recommended this place by a someone who lives in the area, and I cannot continue that recommendation. My regular shop was too booked and I was told this place does a good job at a reasonable price. Without looking further into it yes, I know why he might think that. I needed a headlight replaced, oil changed, and I was told by my regular mechanic that I was due for brakes next time I visited a shop. I was able to drop it off on a Friday morning, in the key drop, and called them when they opened just so they knew I was the one who they had spoken about what needed to be done the day before. To my pleasant surprise they were already looking at the car! Good news! I missed the window to get the car after work so I went the next day (Saturday) to come get it, the technician insisted on telling me how difficult it was to get the headlight replaced(thanks?). Bill was around $530(Brakes/oil Change/headlight). I paid it, drove home, and noticed they tacked on $5.99 for WINDOW WASHER FLUID. WHAT? I had filled it fairly recently, and that's not something you should just be sliding onto the bill. I encourage you if you have been here before, check your bill totals, if that's what they pull on first timers, you might have a whole ledger of unnecessary charges on there. The worst part.....the brakes are still squealing....if you replaced the pads and rotors...why are they still squealing. Combined with the other erroneous charges, it screams pure dishonesty to me. Don't waste your time. Period. Ill be have my local honest mechanic double check their work whenever I need further service. read more

Took my son's car for tires and inspection. Zach called to inform me of several issues with the car needed to pass inspection. Zach and his team completed the work in a timely fashion and a reasonable price. If you're anything like me, you hate recommending friends to another business. When things get messed up, your friend blames you for sending them to a lousy place. My wife hit a pot hole resulting in a flat. We get the car home and find the next morning the other tire on the same side is flat and so is the spare donut thing. What a great morning! I went to VEC because they were open the earliest. I got the absolute best service. They came to my house to change one tire and fill the donut so I could drive it to the shop. They put on the second tire in a few minutes. The car had all kinds of warning lights showing - EPS, traction control and TMPS. The guy told me these lights pop on after spare tires and flats and should go off in two miles, but if not I could come back and he would reset everything. I hit the trip odometer and, on the nose, 2 miles, the lights went off. When I got home I thought I would clean up the trunk, but they put away my spare, jack and everything perfectly. I did not expect that. Like so many people, I come to expect lousy service almost everywhere I go. However, these guys really know their stuff and how to run a business. Zack, the owner I think, and the man who worked on my car (didn't get his name) were fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

Just spent $190 to tell me my AC still isn't functioning. If you can take it somewhere else that can be honest and tell you that it is most likely the compressor without doing an extensive test then I would highly recommend that. They also used my vehicle to go to another location to pick up supplies. Definitely didn't seem right that they didn't even ask if they could do that. read more

I've stopped in here several times for different things over the past few years. They are conveniently located and they have been able to help me right away every time I've stopped in. They have replaced tires, plugged holes in my tires, replaced my wiper blades (including a special order for the rear) and now they do oil changes that I can schedule online. I called Vecchione today when I had a flat with one lug nut that just wouldn't come loose on a tire that was only 3 weeks old. I live about 3/4 of a mile away so they said they could come here, remove the tire and take it back to their shop to look at and attempt to patch. They were upfront about the charges ($10 for the door-to-door service, $10 to look at the tire) but it seemed a small price to pay for the convenience. Within minutes they were here, removed the tire, took it to the shop and called back to report that (unfortunately) it was a side-wall issue and couldn't be repaired. I asked about replacing the tire and they were great about discussing the price of the tire + labor, and in the end recommended that I call the place I got the tire from originally because they couldn't beat that price. In the end i can't comment on the work or how long a patch may last, but the service was impecable! I would definitely take future business to Vecchione. read more

I picked up a screw in my tire and was losing air, slowly. I called ahead (even though I did not need to) and they took my car right in upon arrival. I was all fixed up and back on the road in less then 30 minutes. Great prices and I love the service I receive, and the friendliness and professionalism I am greeted with each visit.
