I've been getting dipped nails for years now, and I decided to try Veda for once because it was one of the only salons open on a Sunday. Big mistake. After paying $50 (before tip), I expected my nails to last for the normal month at least that my dip nails last. I had two nails chip within the first 5 days of getting them done. I then went to get them fixed and noticed when I got home that they are a dark navy blue and not the black that I had. I also paid $5 per nail to get fixed. I then had another nail chip 3 days after getting the other nails fixed. All of this within a week and a half and I don't use my hands for hard labor. So I paid $60 + tip for my dip nails to chip within 2 weeks. Never ever going back again. read more

I came Thursday afternoon after work and although it was pretty busy, I was able to get a seat right away. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Veda Nail Spa. I liked that the technicians were professional and took their time with each client. I got the Classic Pedicure and it was $29 and Gel Nails for about $35. I have to say, at first I wasn't in love with my nails, but after a few times of washing my hands, they looked great. The interior is unlike most nail salons I've been in. This place is noticeably bright and clean. I also noticed that all the utensils and supplies that they used were clean and sanitized well. I got a mani/pedi literally 10 minutes ago with this salon and I walked out w dried up acetone all over my hands. I also paid $130 when I've never paid more than $80 for the two at another salon. I'm visiting from Columbia and saw that this salon had a majority of good reviews, but then was very disappointed. I tried washing the acetone off before leaving and it wouldn't come off. My right thumb nail is also VERY crooked and asked for it to be fixed and it wasn't. I will not be coming back. The price was not worth it whatsoever. read more

Came in to get my SNS manicure redone. Had gone to another shop in Georgia while visiting friends and had got SNS with gel polish. Was told by the young man in the first chair "No, thats not SNS. You wrong." That type of attitude was uncalled for. There is a certain tone and way I could have been told that my manicure was done wrong. (Any ladies/nail techs know of SNS powder being clear or colored only?) I didn't like that instead of soaking my old nails off; he cut them down low, drilled at them and used a fake nail to pop off the top coat. This procedure is painful and I wish ALL SALONS would stop this. Thankfully he had an appointment and passed me off to a young man in glasses. He was very gentle and tried to get me to talk (I'm extremely quiet and I'm awkward at small talk but he tried anyway). My manicure came out lovely, my experience was so-so. read more

I have heard many wonderful reviews about this place. I have been on the hunt for a new nail place since the customer service at the one I gone to for years has gone increasingly downhill. I walked in and the person at the desk was on the phone and did not pay any attention to me. When he got off he said oh you want gel because I signed in and pointed me to the gel colors. That was the extent of any conversation I had. I then looked at colors and picked one and sat down. A few minutes later somebody came over and said OK you come. The person that did my nails was quiet. As in we didn't really speak other than him saying two times when he he wanted me to put my hand under twice or are you like when he'd want to make sure I like the color of the end. Mostly I'm OK with it because I hate Smalltalk but you know a little conversation would be nice since I tried to do some of the beginning. The person that did my nails, I do not know his name, didn't speak to me but did an excellent job on my nails. I was impressed with how thorough he was with filing them and cleaning my cuticles and the color. I am hunting for somebody who is a little more communicative because I would like to go back to finding somebody that can do fun interesting things on my nails and not just all of them the same color. I will definitely give this place a second chance, but I think I'll make an appointment and explain who/what I am looking for. read more

My friend and I went here for pedicures today and really enjoyed our experience. The salon was bright, clean, and comfortable and the service was great. We went early on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. Even though we made appointments, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes. We weren't in a hurry though, so the wait wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The salon has a large wall of nail colors to pick from when you first walk in the door. In the back of the salon you can find about a dozen clean and comfortable spa/massage chairs that can be easily reclined and adjusted to suit your preference. The service was friendly and efficient. The classic pedicure was $29 and included a short massage and hot towels. However, if you want something more fancy they have some "top shelf" options that include paraffin or hot stone massage. At the end of my visit my toes looked and felt great. I will definitely be back here for manis and pedis in the future and based on the other 5 star reviews, it looks like I won't be the only one! read more

Met a friend here during our lunch hour to have a manicure. I called ahead and the lady at the front was nice and made sure we could get our nails done at the same time and sit next to each other. The salon is lovely, and does not have the offensive small allot of salons have. Everything looks like new, and very clean. I was happy to see the tables where next to each other so I could sit next to my friend and have a conversation. The lady who did my friends nails Mariah was super nice and friendly she seemed to take her time completing my friends gel manicure and she was super happy with it. I'm torn on the lady who did mine she wasn't to nice, and did not smile once HOWEVER my regular manicure has lasted almost an entire week. I would definitely go back to have my nails done here again, they had a great collection of colors, and it was clean and friendly for the most part. If you get lost finding them they are not on the side with Payless, and TJ max you have to go around the corner of the new pizza place. Everyone inside was so friendly and excited to help with everything I needed! In less than a week my daughter's nails start lifting and mine have all just about came off I spent $105.00 in this place, so you can understand my disappointment. Took my friend here for her birthday. A very clean salon. I do wish they had plastic covering the bowls.... I didn't see them scrubbing the bowls after the pedis. The prices I found online were outdated. I went in expecting to get one of their nicer pedis for $35 but realized that would cost me $45 once I was there. Not horrible, but not what I was expecting. A fine pedicure but nothing fancy. I was in and out in 30 minutes. The person doing my nails only spent a couple minutes on the massage and seemed to speed through painting my toenails. I always turn to Yelp for locations to go to for nails, restaurants, etc, because I travel for work and need advise on where to go. This nail salon is awesome but a bit pricy if you don't mind that. I was not expecting to pay $103.00 for a pedi and fill. To be fair, I did get French which is automatically more (don't know why) and I did get paraffin Pedi which advertises at $48 which seemed fair. On top of the $48 though, they charged me an extra $30 for the French so the pedi was $78. Good lesson to learn, just get regular. When we walked in there were 5 nail techs outside. The place was dead. Both my boyfriend and I got a mani & pedi. Despite having several people with nothing to do, they did one service at a time. The woman who did my boyfriend's services didn't even clean under his nails....which is kind of the biggest part in a men's manicure since there's no polish covering it. My tech also did not clean under my nails. My polish was applied a little too thin as I could see brush strokes once it dried. The top coat was garbage and my nails were chipped less than 12 hours later. Don't waste your money here. We paid $120 for the worst service we've ever had. read more
