    Tgis was our first visit at the VEG ER. Dr. Olivia Wallace was AMAZING! I rode w my daughter to take her dog to the VET ER. Dr Wallace was kind, attentive and gentle w Onyx and answered all of our questions. The entire staff was top notch!

    I've taken my bunny Louie here twice already and both times have truly been such a blessing. EVERYONE at VEG is so nice and so kind. The first time I went was a very hard time for me- Louie was super lethargic & of course, I was bawling my eyes out but everyone kept reassuring me they will help him & he will be okay... and he was!! While they were asking me questions, one of the women came by and put a bunch of hay for him to eat... I know it's not a big deal but that just meant a lot... they wanted him to feel comfortable. They were able to give him IV fluids & he was instantly better. We came here last night for the second time due to some weird behavior with his appetite & the doctor went over everything & was absolutely so kind & a huge blessing. Everyone always makes me feel like they truly care for my Louie & they WANT to make a difference. God bless everyone that works at VEG- y'all are truly doing amazing work. Thank you, thank you, thank you for caring for all those animals you see every single day 24/7. (UPDATE: DR. ZOE FOWLER was the doctor who helped us- she was the best. so kind.)

That matters, because the focus here isn't truly care--it's profit. Veterinary service costs in the U.S. have risen over 60% in the past 10 years, and my experience here shows why. When I brought my cat in for what turned out to be a simple hairball, the bill was $1,800--"discounted" to $1,400. To make matters worse, they failed to run a critical blood test for infections during the first visit, then asked me to pay for it on the second visit. Billing was presented in a manipulative way: two options, one bare-minimum and one extreme, framed as a test of how much I "loved" my pet. The facility itself looked more like an old car garage than a clinic--cold concrete floors, peeling paint, dirty operatories. I even saw a couple sitting on the floor trying to give their dog medicine. Bottom line: if you end up here, demand they provide reasonable pricing, but if you want real pet-focused care, find a locally owned vet clinic. VEG feels more like a hedge fund experiment in squeezing owners than a place of healing.     I am eternally grateful for the compassionate care my dog Andy got here. He cut his paw badly and needed stitches. My dog was being aggressive to everybody but the staff and Dr. Crocker were patient and wonderful in spite of it. They let me lay beside him while he was sedated before and after surgery. One of the vet techs even kissed him on the forehead after the surgery was done despite him trying to attack her while awake. I was so touched by their love for my dog. These guys clearly love animals even the bitey ones. I will never take my dog anywhere else. Thank you thank you thank you!

    Okay veterinarian emergency group on Fitzhugh Avenue and 75 is the greatest veterinarian establishment that I have ever visited number one I had a two month old Great Pyrenees who caught parvo I came here they allowed her to live with their professional help and services. Number two same Great Pyrenees bitten by a copperhead snake about a month ago came here anti-venom.. she's well and alive. Today I arrived at 7:00 a.m. with my other sweet animal Hercules a 16 year old brown lab who was showing some disturbing signs of weakness and possible congestion. I presume she had eaten a bone and it was lodged in her digestive system. But when I arrived I was greeted by Dr Bedoya, Adriana Gianna Haley Molly Sarah and the manager Stacy. This team works so hard on my 16 year old lab who I thought was going to die only to find out after some Diagnostics that it's partially due to his Advanced age and possibly some digestive issues that they prescribed a remedy to resolve it totally within a few days. That's where sonogram some blood work and some medication I'm ready to leave this place so happy so grateful but these people took the time to treat me like I was special not to forget the terrific care they gave Hercules and who happen to tag along with us Angel the Great Pyrenees. For what I'm saying is I'm totally satisfied I've been here before I know what to expect these people are blessings. Their attitudes were unremarkable at 7:30 a.m. everybody was hard at work trying to please customers and taking care of normal routine. I'm sorry this is so long but I can't stop thinking about them and how much of a relief they've given me at a very reasonable price so that I can go on my day knowing that my 16 year old brown Labrador is going to be okay and live hopefully longer than me. So like I said there's no better place than this I guarantee it I am totally satisfied and you will be too don't forget all those people's names doctor bedoya Adriana Gianna Haley Molly Sarah and Stacy. What a team thank you for reading my review.

    VEG was amazing! Walked in on a snow day because my dog lacerated her paw. They saw me right away, all the techs were super helpful and kind. They cleaned her wound, stapled it, and bound it in maybe 20 mins (and my dog is 184-lb English Mastiff). It was quite expensive, but isn't it always? And for how professional they were I won't be going anywhere else in an emergency. 100% recommend.

After a lot of research on Yelp, I landed on GoodVets Dallas Uptown and I'm so glad I did! The office is super cute, very clean, and extremely welcoming, which I greatly appreciated. We saw Dr. Medina, and she was wonderful. Her calm, reassuring energy put both me and Luna at ease, which was no small feat considering Luna was healing from a recent spay surgery at the time. Dr. Medina checked her incision, helped ensure it would heal beautifully (which it did), and got us set up with heartworm and flea/tick meds. We were both feeling like brand new by the end of the visit, LOL. Several things to note: **Parking: There's a small parking deck behind the building, but sometimes I've gotten lucky with street parking **Waiting Room: Not overly busy, and they have a cute drink station with water, soda, coffee and tea **Timing: Quick turnaround...our appointment started on time and wrapped fairly fast **Front Desk Team: Super pleasant and helpful in-person and over the phone **New Patient Perk: There's currently a $50 off promo for first-time visitors (I missed it, but maybe you'll catch it!) **GoodVets App: Really helpful for booking appointments, checking records, and managing meds If you're looking for a Vet, you may want to give GoodVets Dallas Uptown a try. They didnt treat us like a LARGE BILL VET BILL which is usually the way many animals hospital's do. All of the other ones seem to only care about whether you can pay or not. Thrive did not treat us that way at all. They were kind, caring, compassionate, informative, and knowledgeable. We drove from Burleson to Thrive and we had never been there before. It is NEVER a pleasant experience but they handled everything trying to minimize an already uncomfortable and scary situation.

I know some of the current and previous staff at Thrive, so we took him in to their emergency department, where we were treated with kindness, and they were especially gentle and sweet with him. They quickly took us back to a private room that you could tell had been specifically set up for the occasion with a soft rug, a comfortable loveseat and chair, calming lighting, etc. The vet was informative and compassionate, and the staff allowed us to move at a pace we were comfortable with, and gave us time to say goodbye and process what was happening. I would definitely recommend them for emergency pet care.

Dr. McLaughlin and the techs have been consistently kind, compassionate, and attentive -- offering thoughtful guidance at every step and helping me make the best decisions for my dog's needs. My dog recently passed, and while it was an incredibly hard experience, Dr. McLaughlin and her team provided the most compassionate and supportive environment possible to say goodbye. I had no other option but to use them this time and today is 2/15/26 i just picked up my chihauhau like i do daily and apparently squeeze his bad leg and he yelped until I put him down. He still cannot stand on his back legs and the 1st time he had surgery at Rutherford Veterinary Hospital he heeled so fast and was able to climb stairs and jump up in 2 months. my dog still suffers from his last surgery 6 months later even though I followed the doctors' instructions to the letter. my dog will never walk the same, run the same or jump again because of them. They over sale you everytime you go in. literally taking advantage of a person worried about man's best friend. just to make a dollar. Not one time in 6 years have we ever walked about of City Vet less than 400 dollars on a regular visit. they did eye surgery on him and the problem has come back. In 2 years I spent thousands of dollars with them and I will never ever ever go back to them again. They better get ready to refund me or I will final a law suit against them. do not ever go here

    Took my 2 Brussels Griffons here for the first time. I can be a bit of a nervous mama but this…read moreplace made me feel so much more at ease. The groomer (Heather) came out to meet me before my appointment and go over everything. I talked over what I usually do with the dogs and she walked me through what she thought they might need as well. It was a great experience to talk about them together because it really felt like collaboration. What really set me at ease was this: She told me if I went home, inspected them, and find something not to my linking to call her and she would get it worked out. I found this incredibly reassuring, especially during a first groom where she is still learning my preferences. She seemed to really understand that we both just want best for the dogs. When I went to pick them up, they look so adorable and again the groomer (Heather) came out to talk to me about everything they had went through how their behaviors were. As a dog mom I appreciate it so much, when I know what my dogs are doing and what they've been through. She went through everything with me- down to how she was holding their heads during the groom. It felt as though my dogs comfort was her priority, and Im truly appreciative of that. I think they worked very hard on having a great relationship between the dogs and the groomers, as well as the human parents and the groomers too. I felt like I understood everything that was going on. Full transparency seems like a model here and I'm very thankful for that. I will definitely be bringing mine back a I suggest you take a leap of faith and try them out too! Also wanted to mention: The facilities were super clean. They have lots of windows so you can look in on the daycare and the rest of the facility. Every dog I saw walking out looked very happy and content. Not stressed at all, which is what we all want for our pups. In the photos Vaders (black dog) face looks a bit choppy because she is a gremlin and loves to smash her face into things creating mats that Heather carefully removed. She had a discussion with me prior to cutting and I gave her permission. (Full disclosure, I copied this over from my google review so I didn't need to type it out twice, but I fully stand by it)

    Booked, reserved, paid deposit…read more 2 minutes prior to drop off as I am in the parking lot she calls me to tell me they don't accept senior dogs. I said ok I explained that on my first call 2 weeks ago. . . When I asked about getting the deposit back she said I can have a manager call you because I'm not sure. That is where our convo went south. Me : " well surely you'll refund a client if you are canceling on them moments before their drop off, I can come inside and speak to someone" Her : " You don't need to do anything I'll have a manager call you like I said we will see" Me : " No worries I can just come inside I am actually here" Her : " we don't have anyone available to speak to you, we are busy" "Hangs up" I did not go inside, I called back, got a refund asked why this happened and was told "it's a busy week we can't focus on old dogs" That's a concern, so old dogs or not I wouldn't take your babies here. Also cannot believe how rude everyone was.
