Mulbagal Benne Dosa - Really good

Always a pleasure dining at this restaurant. Perfect for family dinners or cheat days :) I have tried several dishes on the menu and loved them all. My favorites that I recommend are Veg Thali, Benne Masala Dosa with 4 chutneys and soft & spongy Thatte idly with their signature ghee podi (gunpowder) slathered on it. The best time to visit is during the evenings when you're greeted with amazing smells wafting through the air and the place is filled with people. However busy they get, their service is very quick and the prices are super wallet-friendly. And plenty of parking spots are available in front of the restaurant.

Tried benne dosa and paneer chole bhature based on the reviews. Benne dosa was ok but a bit disappointed. Nothing special other than heavily added butter. Chole bhature was pretty good. Excellent consistency and honestly even better than the ones I had in india. Also tried chestnut appetizer and it was pretty good. Service is extremely quick on the day I visited. Ambiance is good

While scrolling through Uber a month ago, we found this restaurant, and the food we ordered was delicious. So yesterday, we wanted to dine in, and we were so glad we made the decision. The ambiance is clean. Even at 8:15 p.m., there was enough crowd, but thankfully, we didn't have to wait to get seated. We started with their soup of the day, Manchow soup, which tasted good but was too spicy for our palette. For our main course, we ordered paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, and garlic naan. Everything was finger-licking good, and we had enough leftovers to take home. It's an excellent vegetarian restaurant with great service. Please do check it out!

We got a table right away, and the seating was good and clean. The veg keema dosa was really good flavor in the filling, and dosa was nice and crispy. The sambar pretty good too.

Yet another South Indian restaurant offering same dishes as the rest of them! There is nothing special about this place. Menu is what you expect, paneer apps, chaat, dosa, thali, etc.. We ordered a mysore dosa, in which the sambar was served cold... so this definitely was disappointing! We also ordered paneer 777, which looked great however taste wise, it had an overpowering taste of haldi (turmeric) The best thing, sadly was the chai! Served in a steel cup and it was hot and tasty. The place was decorated nicely and there was enough seating, for a Monday evening it was packed! Service was good, again nothing special. This is a local South Indian restaurant, casual, easy, and mediocre...

I love a good veg thali--but the best is at the other end of Frisco and I don't always find myself down there. I was very excited to see a new Indian veg place close by. I was even more intrigued by their Maharaja Thali. It's like Thali on steroids. ALL the things! I went in to try it. I was by myself and they sat me at a 2-top. After I ordered they suggested I move to a bigger table for all the food. ??!! Really? (I thought it was meant for one person) Well, this is definitely for more than one person or several leftover meals for one. 3 kinds of rice--full bowls. Curries, appetizers, daal, 3 different breads, 2 desserts, curd, raita, pickled chutney, and even melted ghee. Everything I tasted was so flavorful and delicious. Not too spicy (for someone that doesn't eat spice a ton). I had leftovers for 3 additional meals by the way. I loved it and will bring friends next time to enjoy it with. Note: It comes with a masala buttermilk but I didn't care for that personally.

Food was good. We had South Indian Dosa dosa and Hakka Noodles. I am surprised Restaurant doesn't have ice. It is a very very loud restaurant.

The best place to go for Thalis! We went here on a weekday lunch - the place is pretty neat and clean. We were 4 of us and ordered 2 thali, 1 poori and a dosa. The poori and dosa were good too but the thali was exceptional - enjoyed every item on the plate. My hunt for a satisfying thali comes to an end!

Food was amazing wow. We've been searching for some authentic Indian food in Frisco and finally found our new favorite place. The service was great, the waitress was so kind and attentive. Food came out super quickly and was absolutely amazing. I've had a lot of Indian food and am pretty critical but this stuff was good. Restaurant was super clean and we liked the dishes the food was served on. It was unique for sure. We'll definitely be back!

They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept. Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside. Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother's Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday. The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess! Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I'd gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn't have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu. Overall, it's a cute place and a cute concept. Note that A) this is not the place for someone picky, as the dishes are a bit experimental, and B) the prices are a bit above average. More of a special occasion type of place. Make sure you make a reservation!

The area is located in a super cute area in Little Elm, and the restaurant is also very pretty inside with lots of seating. There is also a bar with plenty of seating if you want to come and just grab some drinks. We started off with their beef meatballs on their happy hour menu, one of their specialty items, the fried golden shrimp balls, as well as their duck roti. We also ordered the Tom Yum and the Full Moon Party cocktail, both of which were delicious and refreshing! I loved how the cocktails were flavorful but not too sweet. The meatballs were good, but nothing spectacular, and the shrimp balls were coated in a crumbly crispy texture that fell apart easily, so it was a little difficult to eat cleanly. It was still tasty, though! The duck roti was pretty good, but I think it was a tad bit dry, although flavors were good. For our entree, we ordered the white pad thai and the duck larb. The white pad thai is made in a different sauce than traditional pad thai and was pretty good, but I think I do prefer traditional pad thai over this dish. The duck larb was the absolute star of the show! Thinly sliced duck breast topped with a Thai chili lime sauce, cilantro, onion, and served with their black sticky rice. SO good! I will definitely be back for the duck larb alone, but also want to try their khao soi and other dishes. Overall, great spot for Thai food with great, attentive service!

I've had the pleasure of eating ramen in Japan and yeah, NO. The reason for the 1 star is because we were the first ones in at 11 and the waitress came in sneezing and wiping her nose with her hand, with her child in tow who by the way was all over the place and many times just standing at our table staring at us eat. I kept watching her to see if she would wash her hands or at least use hand sanitizer but she neglected to do either. The ramen: We ordered the spicy garlic pork shoyu and the spicy chicken broth ramen. The garlic pork ramen had 1 small piece of pork belly and the noodles while a great consistency, tasted like cardboard. The broth suffered from the lack of flavor. The chicken ramen was also pretty flavorless. The nerve of someone to compare this place to Ichiran lol. I will say, the service from the chef and the nose wiping waitress was pleasant but the grossness of her wiping her nose and touching every chair, bowl, utensils and eating her chips at the table across from us with her toddler is enough for us to never go back to this place even if it was the last ramen spot on the planet.
