Amazing food, good ambiance and service. The menu looks great with such interesting dishes. We tried the jackfruit cutlet, chestnut chilli appetizer which was the best and gobi chilli which was also really good. For the main course we tried the cashew jackfruit curry which is a must try if you're here, it was really delicious. Their tandoori roti is surprisingly good, I say this cos it's really hard to find good ones in the US. Jackfruit biryani was nice too! We tried the falooda but it was underwhelmin. We had the South Indian Thali as they didn't have the Majaraja Thali available. Out of all the dishes, we only liked 1-2 of them. We also had the Jackfruit Biryani. The Jackfruit was extremely seasoned but the rice was bland. We did not like the Garlic Naan as it was thin and dry. When we needed water or anything else, it was hard to get someone's attention. They didn't let us input a tip when we paid with credit card so make sure to have cash on you if you want to tip. read more

Always a pleasure dining at this restaurant. Perfect for family dinners or cheat days :) I have tried several dishes on the menu and loved them all. My favorites that I recommend are Veg Thali, Benne Masala Dosa with 4 chutneys and soft & spongy Thatte idly with their signature ghee podi (gunpowder) slathered on it. The best time to visit is during the evenings when you're greeted with amazing smells wafting through the air and the place is filled with people. While scrolling through Uber a month ago, we found this restaurant, and the food we ordered was delicious. So yesterday, we wanted to dine in, and we were so glad we made the decision. The ambiance is clean. Even at 8:15 p.m., there was enough crowd, but thankfully, we didn't have to wait to get seated. We started with their soup of the day, Manchow soup, which tasted good but was too spicy for our palette. For our main course, we ordered paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, and garlic naan. We ordered a mysore dosa, in which the sambar was served cold... so this definitely was disappointing! (I thought it was meant for one person) Well, this is definitely for more than one person or several leftover meals for one. 3 kinds of rice--full bowls. The idli was fine but the Peanut chutney was below average (they seemed to have ground the nuts without frying them properly, tasted quite raw). Even the Ginger chutney was not so good. Only the Coconut chutney was Good. We ordered Gobi fried rice, it was Flavorless, the Gobi was double-fried and didn't have any seasoning. Tried this place dine-in. The first thing I was hit by was the bad smell. It was not a food smell, it was more like the smell of trash or dirty dishwater. The lighting is also so blindingly bright that I had to look down the entire time I was in there. The booths are also spaced too closely together and I had no place to put my feet. I felt like I was eating dinner in an airplane seat in coach. We ordered the Thali dinner and palak paneer. First I noticed that the rice is a plain unseasoned white rice and not the kind usually served at an Indian restaurant. The palak had an OK flavor but was over-blended and pureed until it had the consistency of baby food. It had an unpleasant texture and again is not how this dish is usually served. The items that came in the Thali dinner were all served cold or just barely warm. The papadam was rubbery/chewy as if it had been made days earlier. The onion pakoda was likewise rubbery and not hot. Both of those should have been served hot and crispy. They were clearly not freshly made or were not properly cooked. The menu is too long and overwhelming. A new restaurant can't possibly have so many things on their menu. The wait staff is also clearly very inexperienced and don't seem like they've even been to a restaurant before. We have been here over half-dozen times in the past 10-months and have not been disappointed. First and foremost it's a 100% vegetarian restaurant and hence no scope for cross contamination.....we love it. Most of what we have tried has been very flavorful.
