I scheduled two appointments for gel nail polish online for 11am on a Friday. They took one of us and the other waited 15 minutes for someone to free up. The technician did not wash her hands between clients. The technician took out some nail cutters, cut her own nails, then threw the cutter back in the drawer. Nail dust all over the place. It is dirty. My daughter had gel nails applied on Friday. It was a sloppy job. The gel polish was touching her skin on the sides of her nails. 48 hours later, two of the nails completely came off. I've been going here for a little while for pedicures and this time I was cut by the foot file. It hurts to walk and to put shoes onIt's so close and convenient but I won't go back. Update to current: I'm still battling nail fungus on my toe growing out since July. Will have a scare on my foot from cut. This place should be shut down. Since this has happened, several people have told me they won't go there because of same reason. Poor service. Tried twice both times the worker cut my finger or cuticle. The lady that painted my nails was so condescending when I asked questions. Would not recommend as the service of getting your nails done should not include getting your finger cut or insulted. read more

It's been a long time since I have been here. My regular place was super busy and I just wanted a quick manicure. As soon as I walked in, i regretted not waiting at the other salon. This place needs a major overhaul and cleaning. It did not look like it did when I was last here. My manicure ended up looking just as rough as this place. 2 nails into polishing she kept saying the polish was to thick and not going on right, but she kept polishing. Then after the first hand was done, she added some kind of liquid and shook it up and said it was better. A few more nails painted and she started saying it was almost gone and to thick again. If it was not going on right, why didn't she tell me to pick another color?! As soon as I sat at the dryer and really looked at my nails I could see my nails were full of bubbles and smudges. I had polish all over my skin too. It wasn't shellac, so I knew it wouldn't last long, but 2 days? This picture is 2 days later it's all peeling off already on all of the nails she started complaining about the polish on. My nonshellac manicures usually last almost 2 weeks. read more

So their spa pedicure is really good, me and the wife went in and they were able to take us right way. However make an appointment just in case. The pedi was thorough, gentle, and relaxing. Apparently their color selection is excellent, and reasonably priced (wife's words) definately using them again when in town. read more

Been here a few times. I get Pedicures only at a reasonable price. Only had my cuticle clipped once but not too bad. Always a nice peddy and usually not too long of a wait. My toes last for weeks and weeks with them. They do a nice job. I do try to bring my own polish color now as their select is getting smaller and smaller. They have tons of gels but not regular polish. I would not hesitate to recommend Vega. read more

Went and got my nails done on friday for a saturday dance. Staff was very friendly, but the lady doing my nails did not listen to me. I got acrylics, and I told the woman doing my nails that i didn't want my french too to be too thick, and by the photos you can see half of my nail is white. They never asked me about what length or style i wanted. They quoted me $28 over phone and charged me $35 but that's not a huge deal. I have been going to Vega Nails loyally for about a year now, I even got my whole family to start going there. Today I went there scheduled an appointment and didn't get seen or even talked to until an hour & 15 minutes past my appointment time. While I was waiting countless walk-ins got helped right away. This experience has changed my mind about the nail place & I am now looking at new places to go. The overall problem in my opinion of this nail place is over scheduling. But I do have to say Sam, Kae & Ricky are amazing nail techs & even more amazing people, which makes it very difficult to leave such a happy environment for scheduling issues. read more

I used to frequently visit Vega nails until I learned that my gel mani's should last longer than a week. My new place has my mani's lasting 3 weeks and that is with filing the nails down a bit after week 2. Well, because I waited until the last minute to schedule a mani/pedi for the holidays my usual place was booked so I returned to Vega. I felt very rushed and not relaxed. During the pedi the tech actually broke open the skin on my foot where it is now a bit painful to wear shoes. She also put the toe separator on wrong and there are 4 toenails where I had to redo the polish. Because they wanted to get so many clients done, while my pedi was being done another person did my mani. I now remember why I stopped going here. The top coat is all over my cuticles and as my nails grow it breaks the seal. It has been 2 days and I can see where the topcoat ends and it is starting to peel. There was also an open area on my thumb which was made worse by the constant filing of the nail and my nails are not that long. I will not visit this place again, I will do my own if I have too. read more

TERRIBLE. Waited a long time for a gel manicure. Once they finally started, the lady took TWO hours...for one manicure. She cut my cuticles to where I was bleeding and they are still sore. I have polish all along the sides of my nails..it looks like a three year old painted them. Then, once I go to pay, they charged me an additional ten dollars for the color that I chose without telling me beforehand that it was extra. I ended up paying almost $50 for a shitty job. Worst nail experience ever! Nails and toenails filed unevenly - even crooked! When I pointed out that the filing was crooked, the technician said she had another customer coming and could not/would not fix them!!!
