Just went this last weekend we decided on a whim I literally got little outline of a cat size of my pinky 150$ which yes vegas, paying vegas prices didn't have a problem with that. My problem is that when I took the second skin stuff off and actually looked at it the leg of the cat isn't finished and he forgot to put whiskers on the cat! it was on the stencil really disappointing! but my family member got cherries done by a different artist hers looked great. now that im home I'll probably have to try and get a cover up.
Walked in the front door asked what the minimum charge was, was pointed to a bunch of books on a table. They started they started at $100 went outside and talked to my husband and came back in, instantly they had me sign a form and another girl came over and asked what are you looking, I said something fine line to match what I had on my arm already. She found something and printed it, put it on my skin. I said it looked fine. Tattoo took just under two hours. Went to the front to pay and was told it was $1600.00USD I WAS SHOCKED. I explained to them that that was nowhere in my budget. I had no idea the tattoo would cost that much and I was asking how they came up with that amount. They showed me some sort of graft and said that every square that they could count was $85. My tattoo was long but again just line work so it came out to $1600 and they explained that the shading she had suggested was extra. As someone with quite a few tattoos, I tried to explain to them that I knew this tattoo wasn't worth $1600. I've only been in the chair for less than two hours and then if I would have known the price, I would've never gotten the tattoo. The gentleman at the desk began to be rude and told me that this is Vegas and I couldn't just expect to get a $200 tattoo He then said if I went to a restaurant in ordered food and ate it would I not pay? I explained that if I looked at a menu and realized I couldn't afford it I would have not bought the food and again explained that nobody discussed pricing with me, he said did you pick the size? I said no. They tattoo artist did. I do understand this is also my fault. I should've asked more questions, but I had a couple drinks and had a ballpark between $300 and 500 USD. I explained to them I didn't want to be difficult I would pay for the tattoo, but I wanted a fair price. They told me they'd give me a deal and tried to charge me $1400USD then the girl came over from the tattoo and said that she was shocked no one went over pricing with me and said they could do it for $1200.00USD. I showed them the conversion and explain explained to them that this tattoo would cost me $2000 Canadian We went back-and-forth for a minute and then they said well how much do you want to pay for it? I agreed to $1000.00 USD which cost me just under $1400.00 Canadian. I left feeling taken advantage of. I felt like all they were trying to do is get the most amount of money out of me and they were hoping I would just pay and leave. The guy took my payment, didn't speak to me again and walked away I guess if you're getting a small tattoo and you confirm the pricing it's fine but I wouldn't look at getting any sort of work done here and I would not recommend the shop just from my experience alone.

If you're looking for an expensive and bad tattoo this is your place. I got a tattoo and piercing and it was $400. My piercing fell out within 48 hours and my tattoo has received the following comments: - "it looks fixable" - "not bad" For a small simple tattoo, the lines are crooked and the moon isn't even filled in. The artist was one of the rudest people I've met and when i asked for a small placement change acted like i needed a kidney transplant. Then again, it's Vegas. Proceed with caution

I asked what their prices were like and he said they start at $100 which is fine I assumed mine would be $100 since it's small. When I got there he said it would be $200. It's about an inch and a half and a very simple design. I asked if they had flash sheets since I wasn't trying to spend double what I had planned and he showed me some tiny little hearts that were less than a square inch for $100. I told him I was planning on spending $100-$150 and he said he could do it for $150. I sat down and the artist was amazing. Super chill and didn't mind me moving the placement. It came out great I absolutely love it. When I got up to the counter to pay, the manager told me it's $200. I had asked if they could add a tiny bit of color BEFORE I sat down and was not told the price would be increased. They are very shady about prices here I wouldn't go unless you're trying to spend way more than intended. Absolutely nothing against the artist he was the best. Just the prices.
I had the worse experience here. Robert so called manager of the office is very disrespectful and takes advantage of people. We had done a 2 inch tattoo not even 15 minutes long and paid 450. Keep in mind it was 3 of us. Once he saw that one of the tattoos had more shading he tried to charge me more for a 20 minute tattoo. I understand this is Vegas but prices are ridiculous. There prices don't match the work and service they give to people. I will never come back here. Nothing but bad reviews for this business.
My sisters and I came to Vegas Ink on 4/23/21. We were greeted immediately by possible owner or manager around 11:30pm. It was semi crowded but not packed as their shop is small. We informed the dude that we wanted a sisters tattoo as pictured below on our ankle. We were informed it would be $300 each which we we're about to walk out the door when he said he can have someone do it for $200 We considered it and started looking at fonts. We picked the font and the same dude told us to come back after 2am for the deal which I confronted him and he said now for the deal not after 2am. My older sister who has tattoos said her graphic tattoo cost 200 in Fresno and for something simple like this more like $150 max or less. The fact that he went back on his word was a total turn off for me and my sisters. He went on to share how famous they are and that bull we continued to walk out and never came back. Shady-- so what changed 5 minutes later??? You may have a better experience than us but we are planning on supporting our local tattoo artist back in Fresno and it will be cheaper and still bomb! At your own risk!
We wanted tattoos, rather spur of the moment, and stopped in to get them after seeing this place next door to our hotel. The tattoo artist did a great job and we got exactly what we asked for, but the price...guaranteed off the strip this would have cost half what we paid and next time we will plan better! They wouldn't tell us how much before hand and that should have been our clue to walk out. Oh well, now I have a story to tell.

SCAMMM ... 5 of us got an inch tattoo for $300 dollars EACH. Where we went wrong was asking the price after the tattoo was done. We figured how much can an inch tattoo really be and then we're blew out the water when hearing $300 each . RIDICULOUS Such a scam , ASK PRICE FIRST read more

I loved working with Chris on my tattoo and was sure to ask about pricing upfront. I tipped as well since he spent some time on the design with me and when it was done I was totally in love with it. Would recommend him but cannot speak for their pricing process, since I was sure to say my budget was $300 and I got 2 options (1 size for $250 and 1 size for $300) presented to me, I picked the one for $300. read more

Walked in for my daughter's navel piercing. Was greeted pleasantly by Eric. He explained everything well and made everyone feel comfortable. He performed the piercing cleanly and quickly and was very informative with the care routine. Would definitely recommend Eric for any piercing needs! read more

Super disappointed.... I got a tattoo from here on April 2nd and it has almost completely disappeared.... The only thing keeping somewhat of an outline is the ink that hasn't scabbed off yet but once that's off it's virtually nonexistent.... Their minimum is $150 there; which at first I had no problem paying because I loved the tattoo but now I am super upset about the outcome. I understand it's a smaller / more fine line tattoo, but the fact that the outline of the tattoo isn't even consistent or visible is ridiculous. I called yesterday to try to speak to someone to further help me, and I was told to submit a contact form on their website so they can get in touch with me, but their contact form doesn't even work! They couldn't provide me with an email to try to contact either. read more

Vegas Ink is awesome. I had a 5 hour session with artist Wayne Fields, and he killed it! He was very down to earth and personable, and made the whole experience worth it. My wife got a small script tattoo right before mine, and she is in love with it. The other artists and counter clerk came over and engaged in conversations and really made the whole experience feel like a VIP treatment. I highly recommend Vegas Ink, and will definitely be going back. read more

I get it, you're in Vegas, having fun and being spontaneous but for the love of god people: READ THE REVIEWS!!! They tell you prices start at 100 but that price is per square inch. My husband and I went to Vegas for his birthday and figured we'd get a tattoo for fun. We've been tattooed before in Cali with big, colorful, custom made pieces, never paying more than 350 So we figured our tattoos would be pricey because it's Vegas and expected maybe to pay 200 each at most. We each picked a simple piece from the iPads they had, all black ink. Took the guy less than half an our to do both of us. My jaw hit the floor when it came time to pay and it came to 900 bucks! The cashier said if we didn't pay she'd call the cops since she had our IDs anyway. Buyer Beware. Look for another place. There's plenty of shops in Vegas. Don't be drawn in just because it's on the strip and you're feeling crazy because trust me, when you leave you will feel like a fucking idiot for even stepping inside in the first place. read more

I'll keep this short because I have the same story as everyone else. The artists are very nice but the lady running this place is a SCAMMER. She charged me 450$ for this small tattoo and told me I wouldn't get a better price in Vegas. I went to Revolt tattoo in the fashion mall with Eric Axel. He charged me 450$ for the full calf piece pictured. Shout out to him if you're looking for a tattoo in Vegas. Really it's their lost. I've gotten two very large pieces from Eric Axel for 450$ full color. That's the difference between the two shops, one wants repeat customers and this one is just out to scam tourist. Don't make the same mistake I did & go to REVOLT TATTOOS. read more

I went to this shop previously for a tattoo and was very happy with the tattoo. I recently went back and feel I was SCAMMED! I asked for a tattoo of my sons name and birthday. The tattoo was tiny and took all of 10 minutes. The lady working the front told me 100$-160$. I got the tattoo and went to pay and she charged me $400!!!!!! I got extremely upset- I said what happened to 160$? She told me she said 160$ minimum! Do not go to this place they will scam you! After I told the people behind me in line that I paid 400$ for my tiny tattoo they immediately left also. Do not go here! Do NOT recommend. read more

I LOVED my experience here at Vegas Ink! I got my first tattoo here with my mom and aunt, and we all got small 4 leaf clovers near our wrist areas! (This was also a walk in) Nestor was our artist and he was incredibly kind, quick, and extremely clean. I would say that overall the experience was great for my first ever tattoo, everyone seemed nice, and I would definitely come back/recommend this place to other people. Although it may seem scary that this place is basically on the strip, don't let that scare you! Edit: it was about 180 for all 3 of our tattoos combined (quarter sized tattoos) read more

In February 2023 I went in to have my 5 year old daughters name tattooed on me that she had been practicing wiring and Eric was able to knock it out perfectly in about 15 minutes, I was so happy with it that 3 weeks later I was back in town and had him tattoo my sons handwritten name from some art he did when he was 5 years old. Just like the first one for my daughter, 15 minutes later I had a perfect tattoo. Fast forward to September 2023 and I talked to Eric about doing a coverup of a big tattoo on my left calf I didn't like and ran some ideas of what I wanted to do with it and we came to an agreement on what could be done realistically given the old tattoo was relatively new and he got to work. Well let me tell you that just under 6 hours later I was completely blown away with what I was looking at. Eric absolutely crushed this tattoo to the point that you wouldn't even know it was a coverup unless I told you. The placement is perfect, the lines and details are absolutely incredible and he was even able to take some of the elements of the old tattoo that I liked a lot like the falling leaves and work it into the finished piece. I'm so happy that I trusted him to take care of me and the results far exceeded my expectations. I went from having a piece that I hated, to having something that I absolutely love and want to have expanded on the rest of my leg. Overall my experience with Eric has been nothing but amazing, he's a great dude and an absolutely amazing artist. I can't recommend him enough and I can't wait until I can go back and have him add on to what he started. read more

Eric my artist was great, he did a great job and it came out fantastic. But $$635 for this size of an outline?????? And not telling me upfront is an absolute atrocity. Unfortunately I will not be back despite loving the work he did. read more

I went with my friend and we were able to walk straight in (with no appointment and no wait) and after showing what he wanted, the artist was able to print out the stencil and get straight to work! The artist Cameron did a great job and was very friendly. The two tattoos together were $300 but with the welcoming environment, fast pace (no appointment needed and able to walk in), and clean space, it's really not a bad deal. read more

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to pay outrageous prices. I went in to get a tattoo and pointed out roughly what size of a tattoo I wanted and the man behind the desk said it will cost roughly around $100 to $150 Which I thought was a decent price for the size of the tattoo so got the tattoo done (25 mins it took) went up to the desk he asked me for $750 Not one bit impressed read more
