Just went this last weekend we decided on a whim I literally got little outline of a cat size of my pinky 150$ which yes vegas, paying vegas prices didn't have a problem with that. Walked in the front door asked what the minimum charge was, was pointed to a bunch of books on a table. They started they started at $100 went outside and talked to my husband and came back in, instantly they had me sign a form and another girl came over and asked what are you looking, I said something fine line to match what I had on my arm already. She found something and printed it, put it on my skin. I said it looked fine. Tattoo took just under two hours. Went to the front to pay and was told it was $1600.00USD I WAS SHOCKED. I explained to them that that was nowhere in my budget. I had no idea the tattoo would cost that much and I was asking how they came up with that amount. They showed me some sort of graft and said that every square that they could count was $85. My tattoo was long but again just line work so it came out to $1600 and they explained that the shading she had suggested was extra. As someone with quite a few tattoos, I tried to explain to them that I knew this tattoo wasn't worth $1600. I've only been in the chair for less than two hours and then if I would have known the price, I would've never gotten the tattoo. The gentleman at the desk began to be rude and told me that this is Vegas and I couldn't just expect to get a $200 tattoo He then said if I went to a restaurant in ordered food and ate it would I not pay? I explained that if I looked at a menu and realized I couldn't afford it I would have not bought the food and again explained that nobody discussed pricing with me, he said did you pick the size? I said no. They tattoo artist did. I do understand this is also my fault. I should've asked more questions, but I had a couple drinks and had a ballpark between $300 and 500 USD. I explained to them I didn't want to be difficult I would pay for the tattoo, but I wanted a fair price. They told me they'd give me a deal and tried to charge me $1400USD then the girl came over from the tattoo and said that she was shocked no one went over pricing with me and said they could do it for $1200.00USD. I showed them the conversion and explain explained to them that this tattoo would cost me $2000 Canadian We went back-and-forth for a minute and then they said well how much do you want to pay for it? I agreed to $1000.00 USD which cost me just under $1400.00 Canadian. I left feeling taken advantage of. I felt like all they were trying to do is get the most amount of money out of me and they were hoping I would just pay and leave. Now...if my friend picked a card such as the queen of hearts...and we actually had a portrait of her royal highness in the tattoo...I can POSSIBLY see this shop charging $525.00, but for what she received? Naw that's bamboozlement at its finest. I'm curious-do they water down their ink or buy their ink off amazon because some of the posted photos from other reviewers is quite concerning. This scam of a tattoo shop has done this for many moons and the tattoo artists along with Mary, the manager know exactly what they are doing. In February 2023 I went in to have my 5 year old daughters name tattooed on me that she had been practicing wiring and Eric was able to knock it out perfectly in about 15 minutes, I was so happy with it that 3 weeks later I was back in town and had him tattoo my sons handwritten name from some art he did when he was 5 years old. Just like the first one for my daughter, 15 minutes later I had a perfect tattoo. Fast forward to September 2023 and I talked to Eric about doing a coverup of a big tattoo on my left calf I didn't like and ran some ideas of what I wanted to do with it and we came to an agreement on what could be done realistically given the old tattoo was relatively new and he got to work. Well let me tell you that just under 6 hours later I was completely blown away with what I was looking at. Eric absolutely crushed this tattoo to the point that you wouldn't even know it was a coverup unless I told you. The placement is perfect, the lines and details are absolutely incredible and he was even able to take some of the elements of the old tattoo that I liked a lot like the falling leaves and work it into the finished piece. I'm so happy that I trusted him to take care of me and the results far exceeded my expectations. I went from having a piece that I hated, to having something that I absolutely love and want to have expanded on the rest of my leg. Overall my experience with Eric has been nothing but amazing, he's a great dude and an absolutely amazing artist. I can't recommend him enough and I can't wait until I can go back and have him add on to what he started. read more
