We've been bringing our dog to Melanie and the amazing team at K9 Adventures since 2020, and we haven't stopped since. The care and passion they bring to every dog is something truly special. I cannot say enough wonderful things about K9 Adventures!! My dog and my sister's dog have gone on hikes with them and attended daycare for the past several months. The photos are all the proof I need to see what an incredible time they had. They put trackers on all the dogs and know exactly where they are at all times which gave us such comfort to know they are safe. The team at K9 Adventures are super knowledgeable about dogs and always gave feedback on how the dogs were acclimating to the schedule and the dog pack. Dog owners beware! vegas K9 Adventures lost two dogs in mount charleston two weeks ago. One was found and the other is believed to be deceased (never found). They do not use the transmitters they say they use and dogs are not leashed. This is horrible!!!! Business needs to be shut down!!! read more

Melanie and her crew have been looking after our beagle pup for about 4/5 months now. I must say that daily doggy daycare is the best money you can spend in adding a pup to your family. I tried to crate train while we were away working and he would be so wound up when we got home that it was not an enjoyable experience. He also thought that peeing on any rug was what we wanted him to do. Thus doggy daycare has addressed a lot of problems that come with welcoming a new pup into your home. Also the socialization factor of being with various breeds of dog has made Harley a stable member of our pack. He's only 8 months old and fully house-trained, listens better, socialized and just a joy to come home to. I highly recommend it in the beginning; If even for only 6 months. read more

Vegas K9 Adventures was amazing! My husband and I were given the gift of a babysitter (we have 4 kids under the age of 3 - yes, you read that correctly) and we wanted to make it easier on the sitter by putting our dog in daycare for the day. Our dog is a very lovable (maybe not so bright) Goldendoodle who doesn't know she isn't human. She's jumpy and active and sweet. Melanie had me come in immediately to see if my dog was compatible with the other dogs. She was. Then, the morning we needed the dogsitter, she came and picked her up in the K9 limo and took her for a hike on Lone Mountain with the rest of the dogs in her care. The dogs all wore GPS collars and my dog who gets antsy on the walk to the mailbox had a great time and stayed with the pack. Who knew?! We received text messages, photos and even videos of our dog throughout the day. My dog was taken care of extremely well (probably even better than home since she didn't have toddlers trying to crawl on her) and I would most definitely recommend Vegas K9 Adventures to anyone. My incredible, adorable and rambunctious golden doodle (98#) had and has the very best time w Melanie and her crew and the rest of the dogs. Couple times a week watching her school van arrive for pickup and Henry literally run to the door of van to jump in , greeted w his buddies and girlfriends he'd come home tired and grounded from a day of adventure. I joined Melanie & Emily on a hike with my super active Alaskan Husky. My pup integrated so well with the other dogs and had the best time. Both Melanie and Emily are so knowledgeable about all breeds and behaviors. I love that they get to get exercise off leash and learn to stay with the pack. From the way they use tracker collars to their love of those dogs, I trust them 100% with my fur babies. They will even pick-up and drop off if you live within 5 miles. My girlfriend and I adopted a dog through the Animal Foundation and we learned that our dog (an Akita) had been fostered by Melanie. What drew us to this dog was his temperament; low energy, very calm. We actually didn't even know he was an Akita from the picture until we got to the event. Akita's are known to be a handful and we were skeptical at first. But he was very easy going and much of that was thanks to Melanie and living with a pack of dogs while being fostered. Akita's are known not to get along with other dogs and he was totally fine being amongst other dogs. We were able to take hikes with Melanie and she was open to us asking questions and was very charitable with her time. We're taking a vacation and we'll be leaving our dog with Melanie and her staff. We know that our dog will be in good hands. It's very important for our dog to be socialized and the dogs in Melanie's pack are well behaved. I like this type of training where a dog who may have issues not only gets training from a person, but also learns proper behavior from a pack. Highly recommend this place. read more

Our 18 month old border collie had never been away from us for one night, let alone a week. To say we were nervous and upset at leaving her for a week is an understatement. Thankfully we found Melanie.She provides a closely monitored pack environment for her dogs which helps with socializing and provides fun and activity. I adopted a dog a month ago and while she is the sweetest dog, she definitely needs some help. She is skittish, in need of socialization and basic training. I found Vegas K9 Adventures thru a friend and am so happy I did. After just one meeting with Melanie (during which they spent about 2 hours with us) and a meet and greet with some of the other dogs she gave me a good idea of what my girl will need and how we can help get her there! Melanie is the best! I don't write reviews, but Melanie is so great, I'm breaking that tradition. My boyfriend and I adopted Bronco through the Animal Foundation. Melanie was his foster. That being said, Bronco is my first dog. Melanie was so great teaching me the basics about Bronco's behavior. She is very generous with her information and extremely easy to talk to. Melanie suggested we get the CGC (canine good citizen certificate). We discussed where we could get weekly classes because we live so far away. You can tell, she has the dog's best interests at heart. When I brought Bronco to our CGC classes, the trainer noted that he would be so easy to train because of Melanie's initial efforts while fostering. We received our CGC a week ago! When we go out of town soon, Melanie is our top choice for boarding! We don't mind the trek every once and a while; she's such a joy to be around! read more

Melanie and her team really do a great job. . After a half day see- how -it-goes day care session King was boarded for a 10day stay. He learned so much being in a pack, manners, socializing with dogs and caregivers. He ate his food well, no upset tummy, played with other dogs all sizes , and had a ball. Came home tired! Vegas K9 Adventures is unlike any other dog day care and boarding facility. It has become a second home for our dog, Royal. Royal is a German Shepherd who we rescued at 6 months of age. She had no previous socialization, which is crucial to the well-being and personality of a German Shepherd. I was drawn to Vegas K9 Adventures due to their ownership of and experience with GSD. I was very worried as Royal had many issues to overcome. Melanie took her time to introduce Royal to the other dogs and her home. While it did take several visits, each one was important to ensure Royal had the confidence she needed to be in a new place, around other dogs and people. Melanie knew just what Royal needed. I was invited to join the famous Vegas K9 Adventure hikes to help Royal with her confidence. It is incredible to see all the dogs running, playing, sniffing and having the time of their life. It literally brought tears to my eyes to see our awkward girl getting along and playing with other dogs. After two hours or so the dogs have achieved their activity goal for the day and spend the rest of the day, lounging in the sun, snuggling with a buddy on a dog bed or playing with a friend or toys. During our frequent trips out of town it is convenient to have Melanie or Bill do an early morning pickup, to remove an additional chore before heading to the airport. We never have a concern or a worry when out of town. We know our girl is well care for and loved by Melanie and Bill. There are no crates, no worries that she isn't getting enough attention or exercise, she has as much freedom as if she were home . . . and a whole lot more friends. The daily updates, photos and videos provide that contact and touch of home, for which Melanie and Bill are so well known. We love Vegas K9 Adventures and would recommend them to anyone who loves their dog and is seeking an elite mode of day care and boarding. read more
