    before!

I was very very very excited about taking my friends to this off road experience. After saving up for months, and sleepless nights of excitement, the day had finally come and to the desert we were headed. Our experience began with our pick up that was running 20 minutes late, though she called a head and let us know which was very considerate. Upon arriving to the staging area, my concerns started to arise. The baja ready race trucks advertised were low end knock offs. 250hp V6 with 3 speed trannies. Ok, did I want one of the 1/2 million dollar trophy trucks pumping out 750hp at the rear wheels, sure! Was I a little disappointed to get into a watered down version. Yeah, but i understood. there is liability, reliability, maintenance, etc that goes into those monster trucks that wouldn't work as a viable business model. But its cool.. we're here, little over sold, but whatever, game on! The team that greeted us, most of them were with the company for less than a month, despite the company being in business for over 6 years. (red flag) While sitting in idle in the truck that none of my instrumentation gauges were working. The oil pressure gauge was covered up with black tape, though the red warning light still glowed from underneath. Not to be deterred, we waiting for the team to change a flat on another truck (super common, those guys had it swapped in under 5 min) and we were off. 4 to 5 miles into the adventure the first mechanical failure struck a truck in the head of our column. The throttle cable broke and a repair was made via duct tape and perseverance. (NOte: each truck is equipped with a GPS that gives you mileage down to the 100th of a mile for navigation) After 20 minutes we were off again and back on the trail. another 7 miles into the treck however my alternator light kept coming on and I repeatedly came to a halt as the truck stalled and refused to restart. I lost sight of the truck column, while i struggled to get my truck running again. After many start/stops, the truck came back to life, and after only a 20 min delay we were back on the ride. After limping into a stop point, although I paid to drive, I was now riding shotgun on the tour with my friend and we had to take turns driving because the group was now down 2 trucks. It wasn't long there after (another 6 miles) that another truck in our convoy over heated or broke down (vapor lock, a common desert element prevented by cheap heat insulation on fuel lines and cloths pins) brought the column to a halt. We waiting in the sweltering heat of the desert for 30 minutes until the truck was ready to start again, and we pulled a 180 and headed back to the break down area. That little 5 mile run was the best of the day, giving me a taste as to what that experience could have been. I did however almost roll over however when I went to press the brakes and found that...there wernt any! Getting a little rough drifting around a nice turn, we touched the berm and would it not have been for my previous off roading experience and luck, I'm not sure I would have kept the truck on all four wheels. Rule number 1 of any high octane vehicle.. GOOD BREAKS. At this point I had completely lost confidence in the integrity of these trucks, and felt unsafe driving them. Upon reaching the breakdown area, my truck did what it was supposed to do, and broke down itself. Before hearing the predictable that we'll have to wait 30 min for the engines to cool down, my friends an I opted to call the tour already running 2.5 hours over from breakdowns and head back to the hotel to eat. We heard a number of excuses on that this is racing and we should have expected mechanical failures. Though in my opinion, we paid a large sum of money for an experience with a company that had been doing this for over 6 years. My expectation was that the trucks would be safe, and in good working order. That we would complete the package as purchased and had many a fine story to tell. What we got was mechanical failures and a customer service run around that began with being provided the wrong contact information to lodge a complaint, our complaint being competently ignored, and subsequent efforts to discuss our issues, deleted from voice mail. Of the 5 truck that left the starting line, 2 were running when we called it quits. From what could have been a run of bad luck and chalked up to good faith, became shotty maintenance, and snake oil salesmen. I will not go back, and I will recommend you spend your bucks here. Go to one of the many other companies and rent quads or sand rails which are more reliable and better maintained. My little youtube video of the trip sums it up. http://tinyurl.com/p95v86u Update: After several weeks of trying to get a resolution, we requested 50% refund for only getting half of our experience. The owners continued to play games and dodge any responsibility to their customers. After filing a dispute with Amex, amex ruled in Vore's favor.

The staff was great! We had a delightfully dusty and dirty ole time :) For someone who has had a fair amount of off-roading experience, I would say this would definitely be for beginners. In no way shape or form am I tooting any horns, but it was just a single circular track that you ride around. It has a few whoops, one in particular that's pretty cool, gives you good air. The trucks do not have doors, just be aware of that. And it's located right inside Boulder City.

    Running the trucks.

If you're looking for a great time jumping off-road trucks, this is the place to go! The company I worked for had a management meeting here and we were all able to race through the course together. After that, BBQ lunch was catered. The trucks you drive are the actual trucks the teams take racing in Baja and other places, so it's all legit. The driver's training was great and every one of the employees treated us kindly. I would absolutely go back to jump those trucks again.

What a great experience!!!! VORE Rocks! I bought my husband this off-road package that included, 60 miles in the Desert, 10 laps on the track, then he did some shooting at the gun range. What a great experience and fun packed day. The staff was super helpful, Jason, Tony, Media Mike they were all very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. From start to finish they made us feel welcome!! Thanks VORE for a fun packed day and giving good customer service!!! This is a MUST do!!!

Went to VORE in Boulder City yesterday. We took our two daughters and a bunch of their college girlfriends for a 21st birthday afternoon of fun. Tyler and Michael were our hosts, two super nice, hospitable and experienced pro off-road drivers. The facilities and the vehicles are all first class and the classroom instruction and drive experience so fun and fast. We did several hot laps and jumped and landed some amazing jumps including a 40 foot tabletop. I plan to go back and might even order an arrive and drive for the Baja 1000. I booked through Dave Worley. He is awesome. What a great day!

Awesome morning in the desert. Shuttle service was comfortable and clean. I lucked out and had the track to myself this morning. Instructor was great. Led me on a test lap to show me the best line to drive, then provided feedback throughout my drive. Super smooth ride. Hardly notice the jumps I was making. This is a must try, and I'm sure I'll be back to try again.

This was an amazing experience I will never forget. Any thrill seeker can appreciate the excitement and adrenaline rush you get from taking part in what this place has to offer. The location is a little bit far about 30-40 minutes from the strip. Once you get there you watch a short safety video and after that the fun begins. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly while also ensuring you have the maximum amount of fun. I experienced the 5 lap option which was great but I recommend doing the 10 lap option because it takes a few laps to get comfortable driving the off road vehicle.

Haha scared face selfie before taking off in the passenger seat with my boyfriend driving!

Amazing time out on the track my boyfriend and I had with Jason! I bought 10 laps for my boyfriend's 30th birthday present, and his dream of driving these trucks came true! I highly recommend this over the racing cars. I got to ride along while he drove, and our helmets were equipped with radios to talk to one another and the instructor. Awesome, amazing time!!

First experience DRIVING a trophy truck...I'm ready for Baja1000/500! Haha

If you're looking for the ultimate adrenaline rush with a mix of dirt and wide open desert- this is the place for you. If you're staying on the Vegas strip, they will come and pick you up/drop you off. Robby and Mike were great instructors and fuckin killer drivers! They go through everything so you just get into the truck, pedal to the metal and GO! It's a little pricey but it's an experience like no other and will leave you with incredible memories! Oh did I mention if the trucks aren't enough you can head over to the gun range after and fire anything from a pistol to a .50 CAL! Yeah these boys have the toys! Check em out, you won't be disappointed!

Did 10 laps on the short course, wish I had done 20. It took about 5 laps to really get comfortable. The guys are great and let you open it up. Felt safe the entire time and got lots of air.

    One wheel on the ground!

We had a great Time with VORE! They works with me to build a custom package of trucks Raptors me lunch that fit our budget and time and we couldn't believe how much we were able to do. The tucks we super fun and we hope to come back to take the stadium trucks out into the desert. Check out some of our laps in this GoPro/iPhone web edit: https://vimeo.com/156937783

All day long she was so knowledgeable and answered every question we had, but also so funny while still being professional! My whole group thought that the value of this tour was exceptional. We walked the grounds, took pictures of the Werly family's decades-long collection of toys and decor, watched an action movie clip filmed on the property, then hit the trails. We're a group of experienced dirt bike/quad riders, but Alisha made sure to put some of the guys in their place and let us know that the ATV ride rules are rules, not suggestions. The views were incredible, we ate a delicious lunch by the Colorado river, then headed back for the gold mine tour. Being from the east coast, this part of US history isn't something we're familiar with, and we learned so much! Even though we had a large group, Alisha made a point to have a one-on-one conversation with every single one of us, which made it very special and personal. She was also an incredible photographer! I think we really got the bang for our buck, and i will definitely be recommending this tour - and Alisha by name - to everyone I know who's planning a Vegas trip in the future.

Car enthusiasts & adrenaline junkies will enjoy! Full Review: Was my 7th trip to Vegas & lucky number 7 also brought me to one of the most fun Vegas adventures I could've ever hoped for. We booked this based on some of the reviews & photos I had seen online. There are quite a few companies doing similiar things but this one was the best by far after seeing the equipment photos. New RZR equipment, helmets with air hoses to keep desert sand out, sun visors built in... what more could you ask for? Those with prescription glasses just advise your guide. We got picked up at our hotel and we looped around to pick up others along the route. The van trip will be about 30-45 mins depending what stop you were along the way. When the van was full, we headed out to the dessert where the guides & equipment were awaiting our arrival. An RV with a restroom is available at the launching site. Your stuff will stay in the van & it is safe. Yes, you can take a phone for your passenger to film but hold on tight because if you drop it in the desert... it's gone! Next step, throw on a headsock, grab a helmet, & get your safety briefing. Having ridden some Dune Buggies before, I brought a pair of driving gloves with me & I recommend you do the same. Mechanics gloves or any gloves are better than none as they'll add extra grip to your steering. Once loaded up & belted in, the guide will attach your air hose. These are seriously lifesavers & make the ride a much more comfortable experience. There will be a few breaks from time to time to get some drinks, use "natures" restroom, take photos, etc. just remember not to get out without waiting for the guide to detach the air hose. The guides were super friendly, professional, & helpful every step of the way. Safety was always a top priority. The trail was a ton of fun & the RZR's are more than capable for the terrain. Yes, it's bumpy, but that's what you're here for! As a car guy, my only gripe was getting stuck behind an older couple who wasn't as adventurous. There is no chance to pass so your pace is tied to whomever is immediately in front of you. Would have much preferred to be right behind the guide so lesson learned for next time. If you plan to take it easy, opt for riding towards the back of the pack. Once the ride is complete, you'll return to the site where the RV & van is. Return your helmets, get some snacks, buy some merch, & tip your guides if you enjoyed your trip. The van will then drop everyone back off where you were picked up. Would I do it again? YES!!! Uploaded a bunch of photos so take a look. If you enjoyed the review, please let me know with a vote. Thanks!
