We love Veggie House! Don't hesitate, the fresh veggies, crave able flavors, menu variety make this one of the best vegan restaurants in SLC. Food is served fast and hot ALWAYS or ordered out, food is packed well.

Sweet potato roll and teriyaki crunch!

Im visiting from California. I was looking for a good vegan sushi place and found Veggie House. The service was great!! I would definitely recommend and return to try more of their vegan rolls. The restaurant was great clean and loved the greenery and vegan decor. Must try!!

I thought I'd try because of all the veggies & vegan (I'm not vegetarian or vegan) but it was surprisingly tasty! Way too expensive though - no prices listed anywhere! I love the plants - you can literally feel the extra oxygen in your lungs! Really great service. I like the feeling here.

Our first time here, son and I went for lunch. The service was super friendly, and fast! I love the plants everywhere, and the whole chill vib I had the orange 'chicken' with a lot of broccoli and rice. I couldn't finish the rice, but it was all good. Son had the 'beef' fried rice. It was a lot, but definitely lacking in flavor. He ended up putting a lot of soy sauce on. So, four stars for my 5 and son's 3. I will gladly go back.

I really wanted to love this place. Lots of positive reviews on Yelp. I was hoping this would be a new favorite. But, our experience was less than memorable. Curb appeal is lacking but I thought the inside would make up for it. Clean and tidy, but the plants in every corner and crawling across the ceiling were a bit too much. You order at the counter, but there are no prices either on the board or in the tiny menu they offered. I felt like the prices were high. $12 (or whatever it was) for two fresh spring rolls or six tiny pot stickers seemed excessive. Now if they had been the best ever, or if you couldn't find a vegetarian version in the entire valley ... maybe. But, the spring rolls were average and the dipping sauce was hoisin sauce with peanuts sprinkled on top (not peanut sauce like she told me it came with). The potstickers were deep fried and very crispy and small. $2 each? Our third item was the tempura vegetable rice bowl. Fine but nothing exciting to write home about. The food did come out quickly but I just wasn't impressed. I'm afraid I will not be anxious to return.

Bought 3 entrees, a pad Thai and a sushi. The food tasted good but we were surprised that the entree came with half of the dishes to be rice instead of a full container of the entree with rice on the side. We felt like this was deceiving since each entree was $15-18 but half of it was rice. This is why we are only giving 3 stars since we felt like we did not get full serving of the entree.

Fried rice, egg rolls, beef and pepper dish, stir fry with mixed vegetables, Vegas roll (super tasty).

My sister and her husband kept raving about this place and brought us for dinner. I was surprised when we pulled up because the outside doesn't look very nice and the parking lot is tiny. We went inside and it's nice but a little small. You order your food at a counter and then they bring it to your table when it's ready. There were so many dishes to choose from, and all vegan! We ordered lots of dishes to try between the four of us and took a seat. The couple behind the counter were very nice and helpful. I figured the food couldn't be THAT good to warrant such praise from my sister, but I was open. When they delivered our food and we started trying the dishes I was blown away! It really is that good!! Everything tasted like authentic Asian food. I never would have guessed that it is all vegan. We loved the tempura vegetables! Probably our favorite item of the night. We also had the fried rice, egg rolls, and Vegas roll which we loved. A soy beef and green pepper dish, noodles (good but nothing special), orange chicken which was super good, and a stir fry with mixed veggie dish. Most of the dishes were really, really good. We kept telling my sister and brother in law that we could see why they loved it so much. They do a really good business and there were plenty of customers in the restaurant, as well as coming to pick up their takeout orders. When we were almost finished with our meal someone came in to sing karaoke for entertainment. It was harder to talk after that and it was distracting so we left a little earlier than we probably would have otherwise. I didn't think that entertainment was necessary because the food speaks for itself. We will definitely be back to Veggie House and can't wait to try even more of their dishes!

This place was a great place to visit while visiting SLC. Vietnamese American version of vegan~ vegetarian dishes. From bánh mì , pho , lemongrass tofu with rice. All was delicious and a great quick lunch was fantastic. Definitely will go back when we are back in town.

Fresh spring rolls, Mongolian beef, potstickers, and the green roll.

Sometimes I eat here two days in a row because it's just that good. The restaurant recently opened their doors to all ages which is a huge plus. But kids can only eat inside the restaurant (patio seating is 21+). Today, my family had the "DK Experience" which is a six course meal that feeds 4-6 people. It was PLENTY of food and everything was delicious. You do not need to order anything extra because it is a good amount of food. The best part is the duck - so flavorful and beautifully cooked. We spent about 2 hours here as each course is made to order, so be aware of that if you're also ordering the DK Experience. My favorite dish here is the Three cup chicken. The flavor has so much depth and is beautiful seasoned. Be sure to visit during their lunch happy hour for the best deals in town. Thank you Drunken Kitchen for cooking up the best Chinese food in SLC - see you next time!

There was plenty of seating! We sat at the bar, our server was great and attentive. They have restaurant favorites and drink specials posted on the signs. For drinks my friend got the Blueberry Lav French 75 and I got the Huckleberry Mule. Our drinks were great! I've also tried the Grid City Bubble Works canned drinks before and I'd highly recommend those as well! We ordered the Pork Potstickers, Marinated Cucumbers, and Dan Dan Noodles as was recommended by our server. The pork potstickers were super dense and the wrapper was tough, unlike most other potstickers I've had. The marinated cucumbers had a great texture, but were very salty. Our favorite were the Dan Dan Noodles. The sauce was flavorful and seasoned well. The only issue was how difficult it was to eat the huge pieces of bok choy. Overall, I'd definitely come back here for drinks and the dan dan noodles, but the other items did not live up to how I thought they'd be.

There are so many great options on the menu, just like any diner you'll find in the world but you can eat with a conscience. This restaurant is truly terrific! I love the cool vibes on the inside and the seating arrangement! They have mocktails, cocktails, beer and just tons of amazing food! We had the pizza, fries, mashed potatoes, and everything was delicious! The service was top notch and I definitely would suggest that if you are in Utah, go to visit Vertical Diner! A Place That Fails on Every Level, Safety, Integrity, and Basic Care…read more I've eaten here multiple times and every visit left me, my friends and family feeling physically ill. Why? Because they use cheap low quality canola oil and it shows both on the palate and in the body. But the deeper issue isn't just what's in the food. It's what's rotting beneath the surface. A close friend of mine Brittney (17 and under age in this experience) reached out to the owner to explore a collaborative business opportunity. Instead of professionalism she was met with a shocking invitation to hot tub together. Completely inappropriate and wildly unprofessional. Even more disturbing are the longstanding sexual allegations against kitchen staff he's kept on for years. Employees are routinely fired often for things they didn't do while the owner claims surveillance cameras prove it. Yet those cameras never seem to catch actual wrongdoing. Convenient isn't it. Meanwhile he creates a culture of fear instability and dismissal. People are disposable. Boundaries are not respected whether in the kitchen or in conversation. This isn't just a bad dining experience. This is a pattern of neglect abuse of power and willful ignorance. I urge you support businesses that respect people, employees, customers and community. This is not one of them.
