The nurse was professional, kind, and very personable during the triage phase. The next nurse was super kind as well and told me all this steps that were going to be done to get me setup for the doctor to stitch up my bad cut. He was equally as kind and professional. While I was there he had a great bedside manner and told me everything he was going to do before he proceeded. He was conversational and kind. I'm always amazed when I have to go to this practice. They do their best to make sure the visit there is done with professionalism and kindness and that can be a challenge when they are always busy. As far as I'm concerned, I will always go there because every experience I've had has been great!

Due to ongoing renovations, patients were seated and treated in the hallway. While I understand that construction can create challenges, there was little to no effort made to maintain confidentiality. Doctors were openly discussing patients' medical conditions, concerns, and treatment plans within clear earshot of others. Sensitive health information should not be easily overheard in a public hallway setting. Is it not important that healthcare facilities have a responsibility to protect patient privacy, even during renovations. I hope the administration addresses this issue promptly to ensure patients feel safe, respected, and protected when receiving care.

An old army male nurse got me a blanket and was the one pushing for me to get ibuprofen. The doctor (VanderWeele) was super mean and rude. It took two nurses to try to get my meds for my pain. He was not gentle or friendly. He was very abrasive and rude. At the end of the visit I was folding up a blanket the nurse gave me and the doctor acted like I was going to steal it. He made the visit awful. I almost asked for another doctor. I would go back just will never interact with that doctor again.

After waking in the door the first thing that was asked is "how old is the kid"? Such a warm welcome. After stating that he was 2 year and 11 months I was then told that he was to young and they don't see kids under "three". Well "In and Out" you got your name right on that one! Only took one minute and we were "In and Out". But with pissed me off is the fact that "In and Out's" website clearly says "We treat children as young as two years old" So which one is it? Two or Three? In and out just lost out on 5 new patient's and I'm hoping more after people read this review.

After tests were performed, we were left waiting in the hallway with little to no updates. Staff would often walk away without answering questions or explaining what was happening next. The lack of communication was so poor that we found ourselves having to ask other staff members for information. We were even close to leaving before receiving discharge paperwork because no one followed up with us. This was especially disappointing because my wife and I had just found out that we're expecting a baby, and what should have been an important and emotional experience was overshadowed by unprofessional attitudes,racism as we are Hispanic American veterans and poor patient care. We understand that emergency departments can be busy, but basic communication, compassion, and professionalism should never be overlooked. Especially when there are 2 patients not a fully stocked ER. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the patient experience for future families.
