We visited the Venetian nail spa again today. This time with my daughter and of course with my bff! She planned this whole day this is our favorite pedicure place! It's always pleasant and very calm. The chairs are massage chairs while you are getting your pedicures done. They are very meticulous and very good at what they do. They clean, massage, hot towel, and everything. It was always such a nice experience going here, i always feel relaxed and very comfortable. read more

Lilly took it upon her pregnant self to take over a technician who did a terrible job, so I didn't want to be here to complain, but my toe was bleeding. I didn't even have a chance to ask the tech's name. I guess she dug in too hard and my big toe started to bleed, which she tried covering up with some type of spray and kept saying "no (it's not bleeding)." You can only imagine something like this would happen when the tech wasn't engaged in providing a service but actively engaged in FaceTimeing with her family. It was just unacceptable. Also, if you are a person of color like me, the service provided would greatly differ; while I was not offered anything to drink or asked if the water (which was cold as ice) was ok, a woman walked in, and immediately she was offered a glass of wine, and asked if the temperature of the water was ok. read more

I decided to try a new nail salon in the area and found great reviews for Venetian Nail Spa - particularly for Rebecca's work. I booked my appointment on their website. I didn't receive any confirmation emails or texts, so I had to personally call the evening before to confirm my appointment. I came in at 11 am on Sunday shortly after they opened. The salon is clean and my pedicure was fine. My acrylic fill was horribly done. Rebecca applied way too much product and the gel application was entirely too thick which I mentioned to her, but she brushed off as though it was fine (it clearly wasn't). In my years of going to nail salons I have NEVER had my nails or any designs peel like this. It has been less than one day since I got my nails done and the French tips are peeling off in chunks. This is the worst acrylic work and design I've ever received and will need to find another salon to change my polish and design. I won't be back and can't recommend Rebecca personally (particularly for acrylic/design). read more

The quality of work was not good. First, the nail tech convinced me to get gel (I usually don't do gel but gave in because I needed them to last through the weekend without chipping). She put SEVEN thick coats of polish on, way too many to properly cure. During the pedicure, she insisted on using the callous remover ("cheese grater"), even though I asked twice for her not to use it. Then, she smudged the polish on the same toe twice when it was almost dry, and had to redo it and let it dry each time. I was in the salon for almost 3 hours for just a gel manicure and organic pedicure. After 4 days, the gel on almost all of my nails was already lifting up, and one of my toes was already chipping. I had not been washing dishes, swimming, running, or doing anything that would have damaged the nail polish. The whole thing was a total waste of time and money. The only positives: This salon is beautiful and relaxing inside. The staff were extremely nice, helpful, and did not rush. Also, they offer a beverage (bottled water or glass of wine) with the organic pedicure service. read more

Just moved to the area and decided to try a new place out and I loved the review photos by the shop. I went it excited and left extremely disappointed. I showed a photo of thin French tips and ended up with very thick which I didn't ask for. The acrylics are also unfortunately thick in themselves, they are very bulky. I was also extremely rushed for her to get to the next client even though there was only me and one other person once I got there. I am very upset about my nails and that I was rushed out. Just because you can't time your clients appointments correctly shouldn't mean I get messy, rushed nails. read more

By far the worst! Made an appointment for gel pedi and mani with clear dip powder and color gel. My pedi was sub par at best. Told the tech that it hurt. Ended with a cut on my toe and cuticles bleedings. Asked for my nails to be filed a "little" shorter. After the first I nail was trimmed I stated it was too short. I came in with at least 1 inch nails (from bed to tip of nail). Finished the first hand and I stated "these are way too short and basically aweful". Tech told me they "grow". I was so upset I said just do the gel (I wanted powder with gel). It was painful and not at all what I asked for. The manager ( I assume ) who took my appointment had looked at my nails at the start of appointment told me he completely understood what I wanted and assured me they would do a good job. He translated to the tech. After my nails/toes were done I went straight to him. He for some reason could no longer understand English and referred me to another person. This person said we can put "tips" on them. I have been having my nails done 20 plus years and have NEVER gotten this bad of a job. I stated that to them and they said they would take $20 off. I ended up paying $92. Almost $100 to have a cut (that is still bleeding the next morning) and a manicure where I have no nails. read more

While the shopping can be busy & difficult due to the proximity of Costco, the inside of the salon was calm and relaxing. I absolutely love this place! I've been utilizing their manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing services consistently for the past few years. The facility is clean, pristine, comfortable, and well maintained. They always have a plentiful rainbow of polishes to choose from and clean towels. They treat patrons like guests in their home by offering beverages, making sure they are comfortable, and having pleasant conversations. Ben, Destiny, and their entire staff are highly skilled, friendly, diligent, professional, and have impeccable attention to detail. Since reopening after unfortunately having to close for a few months due to the Governor's orders as a result of COVID, I've never had any issues with scheduling an appointment and being serviced the same week and even later on the same day. Furthermore, in addition to the regular cleaning and sanitizing regime, the staff takes all of the necessary precautionary measures to ensure everyone's safety and well being seriously such as taking my temperature upon arrival and installing barriers for an additional layer of protection. Due to the sudden shut down last March, I ruined my natural nails upon a DIY removal of a dip powder manicure once it really started to grow out and lift the edges by using any old acetone I could get my hands on alongside a mini sanding/engraving tool I found on EBay. I succumbed to using nail decals and various adhesive nail kits for a few months so my nails wouldn't look like a hot mess. I returned as soon as the salons opened and received a lovely acrylic set which was applied and removed with the utmost care and diligence. Last month, Ben removed my set of acrylics which he applied last summer to reveal my own healthy, strong restored nails that regrew underneath! The prices have always remained very reasonable (less than at large malls and only slightly higher than salons in somewhat sketchy areas). The experience with the staff acknowledging your arrival, intake, and taking payment following services are always expedient no matter how busy they are at the time. read more

Most salons will inform you if there is a long wait time and I had to wait for almost 40 mins for a nail soak off with no one reassuring that someone will be there shortly. I didn't even get a nail soak off after 40 mins and the hostess said that most people will wait. Sure if you don't have a life! The hostess/nail specialist needs to learn some manners and go back to school on hospitality. I went to Venetian Nail Spa the other day for the first time to get a full set. Let me start by saying that I'm mostly happy with the finished product and that the place is beautiful with a friendly, professional atmosphere. However, getting my nails done were a somewhat painful experience (literally). First, way too much crazy glue was used when applying the tips. It got all over my fingertips and my thumb was even glued to the nail. When I told her it was hurting me, she painfully separated it by poking her own nail into me (then doing that on all my nails). Then, when she was filing my nails, she was so rough that one of my fingers actually began to bleed (from a file!). She apologized and put some antiseptic on it. Overall, though the nails looked okay in the end, I had to clean the glue and mess from my fingers and nails when I got home. read more
