Service: 10/10 Pedi paint job: 7/10 Massage: 6/10 Came here for the first time to get some pedicures. There were a lot of people waiting when we arrive for our appointment. I liked that they honored our appointment time and sat us down right away. There are rows of three chairs and spaced out so you can sit with your friends no problem but still have some privacy!! My bestie and I got the venetian spa pedicure that comes with a sugar scrub, oil moisturizer with massage and a hot towel wrap for $42 each. We felt like all the extra stuff we paid for was very short and the foot massage only lasted for 2 minutes. I also could have used more of a scrub to get my calluses off since we are both runners and are hard on our feet. I feel like if I'm paying extra for all these goodies that it should be more relaxing and longer. However, if you wanna get in and out so you can go on a date or have somewhere to be than this may work for you! The paint job was okay. We had some missing paint on the edges and some paint on the cuticles. Overall not bad! I would come back and just get the classic pedicure next time. Loved that they honored our appointment time. And even though they were busy let us take our time to choose our colors. They also had some recommendations based on what we were looking for and tested it on their nails for us to see!! I do really like the set up of the spa for some privacy and to be seated next to my friend. I do like the massage chairs as well. So during the whole time you get a back massage at least! I paid $55 for an upgraded pedicure that claims to have more services. Not so much. One of the main reasons I chose this was for the extended massage. It felt like the "technician" only spent 5 minutes max on each foot. When I asked her about it, she said it was tied into the scrubs, etc. the language barrier was tough so it was hard to understand. Once she was finished painting my nails she was rushing me out the door and didn't give me time to sit in the chair to let my mail color dry. I was so frustrated with the experience that I left before noticing that she didn't even clean up the paint. It looked horrible so I went back in to have them fix it. She brought me back and kept talking in Vietnamese to the other tech's. My guess she was complaint about me. Caution to you all - if you must go here, only get the least expensive pedicure. There was absolutely no value to the other pedicures. I will be finding another nail place and advising against this nail place. read more

After 24 hrs my nail polish is already chipping off. My granddaughter also got mani, pedi for her homecoming dance and the design on her thumb nails did not appear to have not cured properly (gel) as the design left what felt like speed bumps on the 2 thumbs nails. We also had to clean under her nails once we got home as they were dirty.... unfortunately she didn't tell me of the issues with her nails until we where already half way home. We left there spending $ 282 after tipping $50. she said let's never go there again! Very disappointed and very over priced. read more

So normally I go to solace to get my nails done and they do a beautiful job, but I wanted to try a new place so I came here. The woman who did my nails was very kind; however, she did a very poor job on my nails: they were uneven, crooked (which she tried to say was because of my finger being crooked, but at solace they seem to make them perfect every time no problem) and the nail wasn't fully covered. I went back in and someone else re did them and they looked okay. I left after the second time through and a few days later they immediately started to show cuticle, and the color looked dull. But that's not why I'm upset. It's been a little over 2 weeks and THREE of my nails have broken halfway down the middle and now my fingers are bleeding, I completely lost HALF of my nail to the point of my skin is showing!!! This has NEVER happened to me, I've never had a problem when getting my nails done and I've never written a review, but I'm not coming back. This place was just not that great, especially considering how long I had to sit and wait for a mediocre pedicure. I sat and waited for about 40 minutes even though this place is huge and they seemed to have a lot of technicians just sitting around chatting. I was pretty confused and I wasn't even the only one waiting. Pretty odd. Once I was taken back, it was a pretty blah pedicure. The water was not very hot and the technician seemed like she was in a real hurry to just get me out of here as quickly as possible. The whole thing ended up being not great and she didn't even trim my nails well - I had to ask for her to cut them down again and actually file. I paid $40 for the pedicure which shocked me considering I pay less than that in Chicago for a way better experience. I really assumed it would be cheaper, especially since it was pretty bad. Let me begin by saying I have frequent Venetian Nail Spa in Green Hills for as long as it has been opened and never had a problem. I recently visited the one in Hendersonville and requested a fill in. The nail lady that waited on me and according to my receipt her name is Kim...she was the most arrogant, rude and confrontational person I have ever had to do my nails and I have had a lot!! She was angry that the person who had done my nails previously did not do them to her satisfaction and they were done at the same location. She proceeded to snatch my hand and drill the acrylic off and naturally I expressed my dissatisfaction of the attitude I was receiving from her. I left this salon with two nails beds split cleanly in half after technician attempted to drill off my acrylic nails. I currently have bandaids on to keep them from coming off completely. I literally had to stop her while drilling, let another technician soak them off, and go to another nail shop to finish. Whenever a technician says that she's "scared" and if anything bad happens "it's not my fault", that is absolutely not a salon I will trust. Horrible. Maybe it's the technician I got but this was the worse pedicure I've had in years. It was my first pedicure since COVID. My tech was making comments about me (I understand) and the lady next to me. I don't expect a foot massage but my tech barely touch my skin. I paid extra for callus removal. Calluses and dryness in my feet obviously remained as he barely scraped my feet. I remained cordial and tipped well. Venetian Nail spa was the first nail place I had found when we first moved here 10 yrs ago. I was a loyal customer but now after many chances I am done wasting my time and money on bad service. They're snooty, bossy, not personable at all, and lacking in talent. The past 3 vists were horrible. On the pedicure She cut my nails down to the quick and shaped my toenails into points!!! They were so short I couldn't fix them. Took forever to grow out. I just got an eyebrow wax yesterday and it's so so so bad. Im furious and hate it. She rushed through the wax, took from the top, made too thin, didn't get any hairs on the eyelid, and in between my brows are even and not lined up with my eyes anymore. My daughter and I went to the Venetian Nail Salon yesterday for a pedicure and my daughter a full set of tips with dip polish. She is getting married tomorrow, which we conveyed to the ladies doing our pedicures and the lady during her nails. This was the worst experience. We thought we would relax, have a glass of wine, all while getting a service that I paid over $100 for. The things I requested, they said no you don't need that. Such as, hey can you cut down the nails. They rushed and were frankly rude. For those of you that get these services done frequently, you know what I mean about good quality service. Not sure why the bad reviews... My daughter and I arrived just before 1pm on a Friday afternoon and the wait was only a few minutes. We both got classic pedicures with flower embellishments and the service was great! Our nail technicians were courteous and efficient. My husband & I was in town for just one day, and we figure after all the errands we had to ran it was time to wine down and get a pedicure. We're from Louisville and we usually go to the one here but sadly.. the one in TN disappointed me and my husband above and beyond. We did the royal ultimate pedicure which was $60. Now this is the interesting part. Stateboard banded ANY NAIL SALON, from using razors.* years ago. And guess what they used?! Razors! My husband feet was so thin and red by the time they was done. It looked 20x worst than he came in mind you, I am a license NAIL technician. I didn't mention it to them due to it being rude* but anyways, they RUSHED thru the most expensive pedicure which was suppose to last 45mins - 1hr. We was done within 25 mintute our bill came out to 135. No idea why? but I feel like they just rob me. I don't recommend this place To anybody. read more

Poor service, short pedicure, pushy technicians. Just returned from this nail spa with 2 other girlfriends, and we all had the same experience. My impression was "lazy", barely any massage in the pedi and the other 2 girls still had rough spots on their heels. Just flabbergasted at how poor the experience was. We also asked the manager about how quick the pedis were, barely 30 minutes, he was adamant that all basic pedis are 30 minutes. Fine, we can go to Tina's Nail Spa and get a 45 minute pedi for the same price and better service. Too bad for this place, it is in a great location but not worth my money to go back. read more

First, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I've been here twice and both times were very quiet, clean, and comfortable. I have mixed feelings about this place however and slightly agree with the other reviewer. My first time here was for a pedicure. While I've had better, I've also had far worse and left feeling quite pleased with the place. The prices were reasonable and the service was satisfactory. My second time trying the Venetian was for a manicure. I got the gel manicure and while I love that my polish has lasted for over two weeks, the manicure itself was not up to par. Literally all I got was my nails trimmed and gel put on my nails. No lotion, no cuticle trimming, nothing. Everyone says my nails look fabulous, but it looks like I painted them myself at home. I wish I had gotten more for my money. My manicure lasted about 15 minutes. I may try this place again just to see if the service gets any better. read more

Decided to try this place for a pedicure while my fiancé was across the street at Sam's Bar because I was new to the area and they seemed busy. They did get me in very quickly without an appointment which I appreciated but it was all downhill from there. The water was cold (which was even worse because it was cold outside) but she did warm it when I asked. On to the actual pedicure... she barely pumiced my heels or balls of my feet, literally seconds. There was no foot massage. This was super disappointing! On the other hand, she went so hard with the sugar scrub on my legs that I had to ask her to lighten up twice. Felt like she was rubbing my legs raw. After washing the scrub off, I think she put some type of lotion on and then covered my legs and feet in hot towels. Still no massage. I had a previous gel pedicure that needed to be removed but rather than letting my toes soak for 60 seconds in acetone, she grinded the gel off. I'm definitely not an expert but have been told that this is bad for your nails because it can cause your actual nail to become thin and brittle. Also, she had already drained the water from the tub, so didn't do much to wash off my toes after she grinded them. I had asked for a french gel pedicure at the start and specifically asked them not to use the pink tinted gel, to just use the clear. I prefer this so the grow out is less noticeable. When I realized she was using the pink, I asked her to take it off and she just smiled and said it's prettier like this. At this point I was so ready to leave that I didn't fight it. When she was finished I looked down and, wasn't surprised, but was totally disappointed at how uneven the french tips were. I mean noticeably uneven. One of my nails was 3/4 white with a tiny bit of pink showing. I hate to refuse to pay for service but I really thought about it. Needless to say, I won't be going back here again! read more

Disappointed! I just pay a high price for a very low quality pedicure. I would hardly call it a professional pedicure. The place is beautiful but the service is sub-standard. Let me explain: the water was not hot enough, nothing added to the basin, not even detergent to cleanse the feet. Cut my nails but hardly cleanse around each nail. The bottom of the feet, quickly pumiced, not even a minute per foot. The leg massage was so quick, I would just consider it application of lotion to the leg. Then I just got my toe nails painted and quickly removed from the chair to the drying station. The technician was distracted all the time and walk off at least 6 times from the station. Don't be dazzled by the pretty setup and the ease of the location. I feel like I was ripped off! I'm not coming back. read more

I went in today for the first time for a pedicure. The tech Lee was her name. She was very rude and short with me. She had a very bad attitude. She didn't answer my questions. She act as like she didn't want to do the pedicure. I asked for her name at the beginning and she act like she didn't want to give it to me. There was times I didn't know what she was asking of me and she got loud with me. She talked down to me. This girl was very unprofessional. I did call back and tell the manager. I will never go back or recommend them. She did a poor job. I don't recommend this salon. I wasted $37.00. read more
