Decent salon with good prices for Southlake. The nail techs are always friendly and do a great job with nails. I have been here over a dozen times. Today I came in and showed a photo of what I wanted and the nail tech was able to replicate it pretty well! The downside of coming here is that the manager guy is not very friendly and was definitely trying to sneak some charges in. I had my natural nails that needed to be filed with a dip change. There were no nail extensions, extra shaping, or anything other than the flower design on my ring finger that I asked for, but as you can see on the receipt, I was charged for these items. Without a manicure, I was expecting to pay maybe $50 for the dip color - $60 with the design. At my other salon they always tell me it will be extra and I give them the okay, but the point is they are transparent. This guy just rang me up without showing me the charges and I didn't see they charged me $80 until after I asked for my receipt. We got to the store, and it looked so nice! We sat down within 1 minute and within 3 minutes we had already started getting our nails and toes done. I showed them a photo of the nails I wanted and they got to work! The nails looked fantastic, exactly like the photo. Usually when I get my nails done it hurts, but the lady doing my nails was so nice and made sure to ask me if it hurt or not all throughout getting my nails done. Their nail polish is crap!!! I WASTED $217.50 on 3 pedicures and manicures. On Sunday, October 3, 2021, my regular nail place (D'Nail Studio) was closed so I decided to try Bally's (Every time D'Nail Studio paints our nails, they look perfect for nearly 2 weeks!!!). The next day, Monday, my moms nails looked so bad she had to clean them off. Tuesday, October 5, 2021, my polish is chipping and coming off like it's weeks old. I have attached pics of my nails 2 days after getting them done. :-( It was so bad I tried to touch up some places (you can see in the pics) with the closest color I had at home. Between the 3 of us we used 4 different polishes. None of our nails looked good by the end of the day and were just flat out horrible by day 2. Our nails are long and strong so all we ever get is polish. This nail salon may be good at other things but their basic nail polish on real nails is awful. read more

I started coming here a couple months ago when I was looking for a place that would do some fun summer nails with a design. So I made an appointment here and it wasn't busy. I got Emma and she did a fantastic job on my nails. So much so that everywhere I went for the next few weeks people asked me where I got my nails done. I had been a customer of another big nail salon in the area for years but I have never seen them do design so I wanted to try somewhere different. I'm so glad that I did. Also I had started back getting my lash extensions done. My former lash girl decided she didn't want to do lashes anymore before Covid began so I was in search of someone and was trying someone out. I wasn't really excited about how they looked with that person but Emma said that she could make them look like I wanted. So when I couldn't get an appointment with the new lash person, I quickly made an appointment with Emma and I am so happy I did that as well. Emma is fantastic at lashes. They look so natural and they're so light. The glue would bother me when I used to get them in the years before. Also sometimes they would look too thick and too long. However, Emma really has skills in doing the lashes like you want them done. You know how you see all those Instagram pictures of wispy, cat eye, baby doll and you wonder how they vary the lashes enough to not look like you have a spider on your eyes. Well Emma can vary the lashes between short and long and give you the perfect wispy look and the perfect volume cat eye or whatever you want and it doesn't look like a bug is sitting on your eye. So I definitely recommend Bally's nail bar and although I want to keep her all to myself I will share that Emma is the best!!! read more

First off- The manager is so rude here. From my experience, they over charge you here and secretly add on various charges without letting you know. The prices online do not reflect their actual prices, too. The last time I went I asked for a simple manicure and they over charged me and said there's nothing they can do about it when I asked how did the price increase by $30 dollars from what I asked for. I have been going here for a very long time, through different owners, staff changes,etc...The nail technician I used for around six years moved, so I tried several other salons. I don't think there is a nail salon around this area I haven't tried a least twice. I am never as satisfied as I am at Bally's. This is one of the prettiest nail salons I've been in! There were TVs at each individual manicure station and the customer service was incredible!! Steven/Stephen really took his time making sure my nails were done correctly especially since it was my first time with natural nails. I normally go to one in Denton as that's where I go to school, but it was nice being able to be squeezed in here. They made me feel like a regular and listened to what I wanted and made it happen! Please don't waste your money to go to this place for your nails. I promise there are just so much better salons out there! My experience: Drove all the way from Arlington to Southlake (45min drive!!) to try this new place! Super rude guy was assigned to me, who wouldn't even try to listen or understand what I wanted! A girl took-over who was a nice person, however the job done wasn't great at all!!!! I had to go back in 5mins (as I noticed on my way back that the tip that had been added was already being a lil detached- she fixed it). Other problems I had: 1) cuticles are not removed nicely 2) the shape is not even- plus can also feel rough edges (and surface) at a-lot of spots! 3) Mosttt importantly- everytime I said something they tried to befool me-as if I dnt know how the nail work is done! My nails still had the glue in the cavities and the entire process was just not super clean and nice! Whats the point of going to a place where you can't relax while getting your nails done, don't feel pleasant (FEEL STRESSED AND INSULTED INSTEAD)- and yet have a super sloppy job done in return of the money you send! 2stars- just for the kindness of the lady who did the job! I have gone here for pedicures for years. They have always done a nice job. I have had no complaints, until yesterday.... I went in for a pedicure. There was a woman who brought a dog in the salon in a stroller and proceeded to get a manicure. The dog stood in the stroller with front paws on the nail counter. At one point the woman carried the dog through the salon and took the dog into the bathroom with her, then carried the dog back to nail bar. The woman and dog and dog stroller are then moved into the pedi area. The salon has given the woman two drinks in glasses, so the dog can drink out of one of them. Then out came the plastic bag of curly french fries, which were held up one high one at a time so the dog would stand and reach up for it and eat it out of the owners fingers. Then the owner alternates feeding french fries to herself and her dog. There were about 8 customers in the area and at least 5 of them were visibly bothered by the dog in the salon. This dog and her customer were clearly regulars. I love dogs. I have a dog. I love seeing other dogs. But there are a few places that dogs do not belong - grocery stores and salons. In fact, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, who set minimum safety and cleanliness standards for salons, any dog except a service dog is strictly prohibited. This was no service dog. If Bally's is willing to completely ignore this basic standard of cleanliness as required by law, what else are they lax and purposely ignoring from state regulations. Either you are a rule follower or you ignore rules. The salon does nice nails. If you don't mind dogs in the salon area, this is the salon for you. It is also for you if you have a dog or cat that likes to go out with you, this is a pet friendly establishment, they will gladly welcome your pet and the techs will pet your animal before, during, and after your nail service. Thanks for a couple of years of service. Too many great salons to settle for this. read more

I do apologize for being late, and know that a call would have been the right thing to do. I just don't think that has any barring on the level of service you provide your customer. Failing to provide included services, botched application of both dip powder and toe polish, and nails cut down to the quick don't seem like the appropriate response to a client you felt was late. Hollywood Nails in Southlake has been my favorite manicure place for at least 3 years. Their prices are higher than most other nail salons, but the quality products and pampering made up for the expense. Until recently. After my last few visits, not only do I not want to go there anymore, I want to warn other people so they do not have the same experience I had. When I went in for a mani/pedi last week, it was a nightmare. My technician, Susan, was clearly ill and coughed continuously throughout my appointment. My pedicure turned out okay, but she seemed to start feeling worse when she started on my manicure. It was a horrible experience. She cut my cuticles so badly that they bled, and then doused them with alcohol. At that point, she told me to pay her so that I wouldn't ruin my nails by pulling out my wallet later. She quoted me a price which I questioned, and then quoted me a lower price. I paid her in cash, and gave her a $10 tip with the change she returned to me. She slapped on a couple of hot rags for a minute, slapped on some polish, and told me to sit at the drying station for 5-10 minutes. All said, the manicure took 8 minutes from start to finish, plus the drying time. When I checked my wallet later, I realized that Susan had indeed charged me the higher price she had initially quoted, which was the price for the Deluxe Manicure (my bad for not counting my change in front of her). I did not receive a Deluxe Manicure by any stretch of the imagination. Still, I would have been willing to let it go... EXCEPT that my cuticles started shredding within 24 hours and the polish started flaking off within 48. Look at the photo I attached with this review - if you want your nails to look like that, Hollywood Nails is the place for you! I hope Hollywood Nails turns things around. When they opened, they really were the best nail salon in the area. I hope they can figure out how to get back to that someday. read more

This nail salon is the most professional and wonderful place in Southlake. They are open everyday which is a bonus for those of us who work full-time. The staff offers a full range of services from nails, facials and pedicures. All the staff are terrific but I have to make a shout out to the Sunday crew of Kelly, Rose and Jay who always make a client walk out feeling like a million dollars. Clients are men, women and teens with an occasional young girl coming for a fun Mommy/daughter outing. I would definitely recommend an appointment but walk-ins are welcomed...you just might have to wait. I have been coming for many years and I would highly recommend Bally's Nail Bar. read more
