Food was excellent and everything was made to order and as fresh as if my wife herself was making it. If you are looking for great food accompanied by great ambiance and service Helen look no further.

Early Valentine's Day dinner at our FAVORITE local restaurant! Never disappointed here! Great service, wonderful food & good prices too! Authentic Puerto Rican food served in a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend!

This restaurant was recommended to me and I can see why! First it is right across from the river and they have tables outside if you would like to sit out there. The steak was recommended to me so I tried that with steak and shrimp. It was delicious. Tender tasty and just perfect! It came with salad rice and beans and I tried the mofinga which is mashed green banana corn and I'm not sure what else was in it. It was $34 but honestly worth every penny! I will be going back to try their lunch!

Went this weekend with the family to try this place out to see if it was better than what we make at home. We ordered mofongo, alcapurrias, sancocho, typical PR food and the food was not bad. The sancocho and alcapurrias needed more flavor but it was decent, the mofongos were good, overall the food was as a 7. The service though, that needs work, i'm sure they're understaffed because it took us a while to get our orders in and delivered. So when they're fully staffed, each table should be given water prior to ordering, if sancochos are ordered, the spoon needs to come with the plate. (We waited a while for one) and each table should have the condiments us hispanics always need lol like salt, pepper, hot sauce, ketchup . Overall I give them a 3 out of 5, because food needed more flavor..(use more sofrito ) and the service needs to be more efficient.

Exquisite! This is a hidden gem! I always knew about the food truck but never the restaurant. My family and I stopped in for an appetizer, entree, and some drinks. We ordered the Passion Fruit and Coconut Mojitos. The drinks were so good I almost forgot I was drinking alcohol and had to limit myself to only 2 but could have easily had more due to the flavors. I wanted to try every mojito flavor on the menu. Sebastian was an amazing bartender and host! We arrived an hour before closing and were treated like kings and queens. We ordered an appetizer that had chicken, pork, plantains, and fritters. It was so filling that we were unable to order an entree. We ordered a meal to go for our family member that couldn't make it. She loved the chicken tenders and fries. We all will definitely be back. The restaurant is clean and setup for amazing pictures. The ambiance is intimate and casual.

Please please please go to this place !!…read more First of all the place it's super cute and clean. Eddie and Jorge are just amazing ,they are so kind and attentive. For right now even though they are short in staff the food and attention given to us was on point. Now for the food, the sampler was so authentic it had empanadas, croquetas which is ham croquettes, yuca fritters and corn fritters called sorrullos and pollo frito. That was delicious. The chuleta kan kan which is a massive piece of pork chop was cooked to the perfection and it's actually shareable. So even though it's 38 dollars you do get a lot for your buck. Have that with a side of white rice and beans and tostones de pana it's a little different from the regular tostones. Ok moving on.... Trifongo with shrimp scampi was so on point the flavor was creamy not runny at all. And very flavorful. Chicharrón de pollo con trifongo. Great Mar y tierra was a very small portion the steak although small was very juicy. The flan was great and the coffee to end the meal . But my input of this place it's literally like your Puerto Rican mother was cooking these meals in your kitchen..

We walked in and were greeted by a very nice gentleman who treated us spectacularly. We had our pick of tables..... we were also the only ones in there. We ordered the Cuban sandwich, and the chicken plate with rice and beans. I'm going to jump right in: The black beans tasted like they'd dumped the entire cumin condiment jar in by mistake. The cuban sandwich had the wrong ingredients and was odd tasting. The chicken breast was chewy like I'd been in a microwave. And the kicker....... The rice was at least a day old and reheated. This is unacceptable. I understand maybe some things were from the day before as often black beans can be, but not every single item. Not for a restaurant. This is your one job. We quietly left most of our meal, paid our bill and left never to return. The worst part was feeling duped. The one waiter and the one cook there acted like this was a great meal cooked to order, and they'd done all this work super fast. As fast as a microwave could warm it up. Gross. I'm not sure what was happening behind the scenes but that one meal cost you return customers.

The restaurant itself wasn't too large and had a bathroom in the back. They were able to clear a table for us and sat us down in good time. A man (possibly the owner?) came up to take our order and was very sweet asking us about our day how we were doing. Both my mom and I ordered the Churrasco la Estancia (my mom subbed plantains instead of fries) and my sister ordered the Pescado a lo Macho since she was craving fried fish. The churrasco was amazing, perfectly cooked, seasoned well and so so good with the chimichurri(?) sauce on top. My mom let me try some of her plantains and I wish I got those instead of my fries! We all loved the rice as well, something about the soft, flavorful fluffiness of it made it great. My sister was also very content with her fried fish and we were both pleasantly surprised by the fish stew that came with it. The type of plantains she got with that dish weren't our favorite though. The food came out in good time, but we had to come up and ask for the check because one of the waitresses was busy talking to another customer. Overall the food was great though and I told my mom I'd love to come again the next time we visit the area!
