The food and management were atrocious. My father's meat was tasteless and dry to the point he didn't want to eat it. He brought it to the waitress' attention. She was polite and got the manager. (Note that this happened on Sunday, 7/19/26, at 1:00 pm.) The manager showed up strongly attacking my father blaming him after asking his opinion she said, "well, that's your opinion. Others like it." She went on being defensive and combative with the customer. She could have politely acknowledged his opinion, apologized, and comp'd his meal, like what would happen at practically any other restaurant. Staff was very good. The ambiance has potential but they have to get rid of the bugs. Unfortunately, their inside/outside bar is open to the outside seating area. Nice concept which could have been awesome but the bugs have no borders. A few fruit flies landed in my beans and on the outside of my drink. No beans for me. Lol... Off I-95 near Cocoa Beach. Highly recommend visiting. We were so pleasantly full, we had to pack leftovers. We got there on a Thursday around 4pm. It was not crowded. We were seated quickly. The service was great. Our server was kind and very attentive. The guacamole and the salsa were addictive... probably the reason why we couldn't finish our entrees. Margarita Island is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've been to. My husband ordered the Burrito Verde, and I had the Steak Mazatlán--both were absolutely delicious and huge. The portions were so generous that we happily took half of each home for tomorrow. Our server, Abril, was wonderful. She made us feel like we were the most important table in the entire restaurant, yet we could clearly see she was giving the same attentive, thoughtful care to many other tables as well. Pricey Mexican. My husband liked the chicken bowl. I always get the molcajete when it's on the menu. That was a huge portion and could be shared. But they only give you three taco sized tortillas and charged for more. I thought was was pretty chintzy when you spend $35 for a meal. The margarita was good. Got the small FL sunrise one. A little sweet but good. Had some alcohol. Son didn't like his chicken tenders, didn't want to bring them home and my daughter didn't like the birria tacos which is a dish she usually orders at other Mexican places. The service last night was horrible!!! After we were seated, a busgirl came w/ chips and dropped entire bowl of salsa on floor. It splashed all over my white dress, both my husband's shoes + jeans & my shoes. She quickly cleans only a small spot on floor but not the rest of area and silently left. NO APOLOGY!! Five minutes later, our waiter (fresh out of college) is smiling and asking for our drink order. I explained to him, the floor under table is still covered in sauce and my skirt and husband shoes are dirty, my legs are wet too. He moves a foot away from the mess and says, "Oh sorry so what do you want to drink?" 5 minutes later he drops off our drinks and NO NAPKINS. Is it not implied that we need him to help us with some way to clean ourselves off? I then have to ask him explicitly, Please get us napkins!! The stains are now marinating in our clothes and some sense of urgency is needed! After our food and entree arrived, (brought by someone else) our waiter is nowhere to be found. Both of us have no silverware, no forks or knives, and our food getting cold as my husband flags him down. He gives us silverware and he is still avoiding the spot near our table because the ENTIRE TIME NO ONE BOTHERS TO CLEAN THE MESS ON FLOOR. After he hands our check and electronic payment system, he stands there watching me intently as I'm entering the tip. Do you think he earned his tip at this disastrous meal? Where the hell did you hire these unskilled people with no customer skills? Avoid at all costs! There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Viera to support. read more

We had a very disappointing experience here. My grandmother has had stomach surgery and physically cannot eat a full adult portion, so she tried to order a kids meal. The staff told us she could order it, but only if we paid an extra $4 -- which felt unnecessary and insensitive given her medical situation. We also had an issue with our son's meal. The server asked if he wanted juice or lemonade with his kids meal, so we said yes, assuming it was included. When the bill came, we were charged $4 for a kids lemonade, which was never explained upfront. On top of that, the food itself was not good and did not justify the pricing or attitude. To make matters worse, it felt like we were being pressured into tipping despite the poor service. A little compassion and transparency would have gone a long way. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. We won't be returning and would not recommend this place. read more

If you want a set down lunch and don't have a lot of time. You got to come here. After we set down the waiter was right there. He took our drink orders and I told him we wanted the guacamole. With in minutes both our drinks and guacamole were right there. We ordered our lunch and again with in minutes our plates were right. The food was awesome. The food is wonderful! We had a burrito, Birria tacos, and the guacamole with chips. The red sauce on the margarita burrito is a thicker tomato's paste sauce and not a traditional red sauce. It was ok. The rest of the burrito was delicious and I would probably just ask them to leave it off next time. Would prefer the traditional sauce. But it was still good. The guac is perfect. Chunky and smooth, fresh avocado, cilantro onion and tomato. Probably my favorite out of everything. The birria was also very delicious. We also had some amazing hot sopapillas for dessert!!! The atmosphere is great and they've done a wonderful job renovating the place. The service was phenomenal! Didn't have to ask for refills, or anything. Super prompt service. All portions are large and could be shared. They do come with a high price. Half portions could be offered. The Margarita was a good taste,well balanced. The Taco Salad was very good and one of my favorites from Margarita Island. The Chicken Fajita came with many toppings for enjoyment. The only thing missing from this dish is flavor on the chicken. If there was any I could NOT find it. The Chicken was very dry which made me think it was cooked too far in advance(and reheated). Some Paprika, Cumin and Cayenne with a little Lime juice would put this dish over the top. Caramelized onions were great but there was way too many, that it unbalanced this plate.
