It is Easter weekend and I was desperately trying to find a stylist for my two Grand daughters. Not only did Venes' find a spot for both together but the stylist was fantastic! We have returned twice since then and expect to come back in the fall. Hunter (our stylist) was able to please both my 14 yr old soon to be Freshman in HS and my 9 yr old grand daughters! This was my first visit and my first time back in a salon since Covid. A boutique style salon very friendly Hunter was knowledgeable and informative. We proceeded i with a consultation first and decided to go ahead with a balayage highlights. It was a bit more conservative than maybe the picture in my head but I think it was a good compromise since it was a first step for me. What I liked is it wasn't a hard sell on product even though I did buy some per the recommendation I didn't feel hard pressed. The other customers all seemed like regulars which I saw as a good sign too. I will be back and looking forward to a spring look. read more

I really don't like to leave a negative review, but I was not satisfied with the end result after visiting Vense salon. I went in for a simple trim and ended up getting over 2 inches chopped off. I had a lot of split ends so even though she cut off more than I'd hoped for I was overall okay with that since I knew it was needed. What I was not okay with was the fact that in some places she cut off much more than that leaving the length extremely uneven and one side shorter than the other. In some places there is a difference of over an inch in the length of my hair. While cutting my hair, April had me slouch down uncomfortably in my chair so that she could reach to cut my hair. I'm only 5'6 and found this very unprofessional that anyone my height or taller would be required to sink down in their chair so she could cut their hair. I messaged April back a few days later to let her know that the hair cut was very choppy and uneven and that I would like a partial refund (not a full refund) for how awful the cut was. I told her I did not want her to fix it as she had already cut it way shorter than I'd asked for and fixing it would require cutting off much more length. She replied by saying that she did a "Perfect" one length cut and that if I was seeing any choppiness that it wasn't her doing. (Whose doing was it then? A ghost?). At the end of the message she said " I don't see how I can help you remedy this" and left it at that. Very poor way to do business. I have been to 2 other stylists since for advice and they both agreed that it was one of the poorer cuts they had seen. I was initially happy when I left the salon because my hair felt liggter and healthier, but I soon realized in the following days that the way she had styled my hair was a cover up for the awful cut. read more

The 1st time I saw him I explained I had chemo hair and it was falling out. Not sure what he did but he made my rapidly thinning hair look full again. I've come here about 3 time already and I love it! The very first time was last July and I was very very nervous. I was with Lindsey and she was really nice. I showed her how I wanted it and she made me feel really confident about it. She also gave me her opinion on how it would look on me. When she was done I love it! A few days later I went back to her for highlights. It took a while but the finish was fantastic! I loved the blonde highlights.Once my hair started to grow out it blended really well with my natural color also. I went back to her today and got a shorter cut than what I got last time and its really cute! I was a lot more comfortable with her and trusting. She washed, cut and styled my hair. She took her time and really focused on it. Everyone else that I have met there are really sweet people. It is pricy but it is a salon and they do a great job!
