Don't expect clear communication about the pricing. Instead of being told what I was going to pay, I was asked twice if I had read the website. The website includes photos, and four tabs. One of the tabs is services and that does include pricing. The fault is mine for not reading more carefully. That being said, the person doing my service literally never said a number. If you are willing to charge that much, you should be willing to say it out loud to your client. I was told I had to submit a deposit for half of my appointment. When I looked back, I only had to submit a deposit of $89 which was half of my $178 for partial highlights. This didn't help me to realize I'd be charged an extra $550 for my haircut. It was a cruel shock to leave with my hair looking nice to realize my total for the day was $728. Again, the fault is mine for not reading all of the website more carefully, but I hope no one else has to have this cruel shock. This salon is not willing to use spoken words to convey their fees. You will only get this information from the website. This is a shocking lack of professionalism and courtesy.

I asked for simple curtain bangs and the stylist completely butchered the right side of my hair. She told me she was fresh out of cosmetology school and it honestly showed. The cut was uneven, choppy, and way shorter than I asked for. It was so bad that I have been self conscious about my hair ever since. What makes it worse is that my hair has never been the same. I take very good care of my hair and it used to grow evenly and healthy. Three years later and that section still has not grown back properly. I have had to style around it constantly and it has been extremely frustrating. I trusted this salon and left feeling upset and embarrassed. If you care about your hair at all, I would strongly reconsider booking with a level 1 stylist here. Saving money is not worth dealing with damage that lasts for years.

I mention that, because I tend to feel really awkward in salons. I'm a low maintenance gal, so this type of thing isn't something I'm confident about! The initial appointment went well and I was happy with my hair overall, but I noticed afterward that my money piece was uneven. I reached out the very next day to get it fixed, but communication was extremely delayed. It took two days to get a response, and this pattern continued back and forth, making it difficult to schedule a correction. Despite this, we eventually agreed on a time. On the day of the follow-up appointment, I even offered to come earlier if she was available, but received no response. I still showed up early for my scheduled 3:30 appointment, texted to let her know I was there, and got no reply. After waiting over 15 minutes past my appointment time, calling, getting no response, and hearing her with another client, I left as she never acknowledged me. When I requested a partial refund due to the lack of communication and missed appointment, it was denied, and I was blamed for leaving as she expected me to wait even tho she never acknowledged me--even though I waited beyond a typical grace period and made multiple attempts to reach her. And she stated no mistakes were made on her end. Overall, the work itself was decent, but the communication and professionalism were very disappointing, especially when trying to resolve an issue. I would recommend improving response time and client communication.
