Finn enjoying his walks at Venture out!

Venture Out is by far one of the best places to stay and enjoy the Keys! We loved it here! Everyone was so friendly, both the employees as well as the many neighbors we had the pleasure of meeting! Thank you to everyone there! Seamus and Finn, the bulldogs will really miss all of you!

Great place to stay just north of Key West...clean, quiet, well maintained, and secure. The VRBO place we stayed at was well kept and the owner was very receptive to our questions throughout the whole process. Can't wait to get back!

I love the amenities at Venture Out but I do not recommend the place if you have pets. It is NOT dog friendly.

This R.V. park was like paradise. Small R.V. park about 10miles from Key West. We chose a canal…read moresite because we love to fish and figured there would be better fishing on the canal side. The lot was big enough for our 30ft motorhome. We had our own private tiki hut, porch over the canal, fans, outside tv, and lots of privacy. Very dog friendly. Clean park. Only cons was each site is privately owned. Some owners take better care of their site than others. We were at canal site 3. Our lawn chair was broken, only 9 lights in the tiki hut actually lit up ( we still had enough light), and the solar lights on the dock were broke (no biggy). We still had a blast and can't wait to go back. They have a small pool at the end of the park which is not busy at all and perfect for a quick cool down. From our spot we saw many fish, string ray, two nurse sharks, and a seahorse. This truly is a paradise R.V. park and I highly recommend it.

Our site backed up to a canal with private homes across the way, and was very quiet & relaxing. The RV resort is less than 20 minutes from Key West proper so very close for activities in town. This time of year--end of summer, not quite time for the snowbirds to return--we had the park pretty much to ourselves, even though we saw other sites occupied. We will definitely put this on our "must return" list and try for a longer stay!

We parked our semi truck, just the truck, in a spot in the back. We were excited to maybe swim and…read moreeat at the resort. The cafe was closed the 2 days we were there. No where to get food unless you go next door to the beautiful Koa campground or at Mangrove Mammas about 1/2 a mile away. Thank goodness we brought our bikes. There is no laundry facilities and the lagoon area you can't swim in. Makes no sense why they have kayaks and floating cabanas if you can't swim in the lagoon. The bathrooms were nice. The pool was relaxing but the walls were dirty in the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. We won't be back with our 45' Rv. Very tight spots.

I'm trying to be generous in my review. This location, though beautiful and filled with awesome…read morepotential was probably built by somebody who was Orit money over accessibility and presentation. The sites are narrow, and the space between sites is minimal. If this park is ever full, there will be many who will not be able to have their awnings out and possibly even their slide out opened. Most sites are very difficult to pull into or back down because of how unforgiving and tight the park was designed . Lack of staff means the floating picnic canopies are deflating and green. Their pool is/was completely unusable and green. Their bathroom floors were thick with dirt. They had multiple turnovers in management and staffing. Come prepared for these inconveniences and you will enjoy being so close to Key West. It's also a telling sign is that they constantly encourage you to go next-door to the KOA for laundry, the pool, the pub, and the beach. KOA is clearly a good neighbor.
