I came here for the first time for a birthday dinner and I would say my experience was just okay. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was flavorful and well seasoned, but it was pretty greasy. My boyfriend got the wings and they were definitely overcooked. I took one bite and it was hard to get into. The sauce on the wings tasted like a strawberry glaze, it was okay. The service took about an hour and a half for us to receive our food, which didn't make much sense since there were only a few people seated inside. A few people in our party ended up sending their food back because it was cold. Parking was easy, likely because we arrived towards the end of the night, and we didn't have to pay for street parking. While visiting Tampa we had several spots in mind to try but, after the hurricane a lot of businesses were closed. We were recommended to try this black owned business from a neighboring business down the street. It was a weekend so it was not crowded at all. The staff were very friendly and attentive to us. I came here for an R&B night and had an ok time. Service was not the best, I guess they weren't expecting a big turnout therefore didn't have enough staff working. My first drink was really good. Proudly championing the Black community and showcasing Black brands and businesses. Came during the day specifically to try out Royal Diaspora Coffee! OLD FASHIONED, FROZEN CUP LEMONADE REFRESHEr and the CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH LATTE which was our overall favorite! They have a variety of milks to choose from when ordering any of the coffee beverages. I was blown away by the food! The Croissant breakfast Sliders were amazing! The croissant was warm, flaky and buttery while the eggs were fluffy and flavorful! We also heard great thing about the wings and OMG we were sold after the first bite! They were fried to perfection and very tasty. To be honest I would say within the top 4 best wings in Tampa! The fries were also delicious! Don't leave without their crookie-a croissant and cookie hybrid topped with powered sugar and served warm!
