    Potato Rosti
    Mike M.

Came to carb load on my 7k mile 24 city food tour and this was prior to a craft beer loop so my goal was carbs. Order the potato rosti which had home fries, lox, miso ranch, and scallion. Everything tasted very good. Hot and cold played off each other. I'd only say the ratios were slightly off on the plating where I was left with a lot of plain potatoes by the bottom of the bowl. Service great. Dining space pretty standard.

Very pleasant place to have in our neighborhood--take a look inside! Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious coffee, drinks & food!!! Will be back regularly!

Corner Club is the story of a local Dive bar reborn as a lively open air welcoming local eatery, coffee bar, and weekly cozy events place catering to locals of Old Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa. Corner Club has a limited menu but each item on their thoughtfully crafted menu is made with heart and pride. The menu offers coffee, cocktails, mock tails, wine, breakfast items (quiche, biscuits, pancakes, toast), lunch items (bratwurst, pretzel rolls, pizza, sandwiches, wings, burgers) The space has plenty of indoor seating, a small game room, and a decent sized backyard patio with covered seating and a small stage. The staff are very welcoming and it's a great space to hang out with friends for conversations over yummy dishes. I tired their Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita which tasted like a combination of strawberry fizz with jalapeño tequila. This drink isn't for everyone. It was decent but somehow the combination weren't my favorite. I also had their Smoked Bratwurst - pork sausage, tepache mustard in a pretzel roll. This was by far one of great tasting bratwurst I've had in a while. The hot bratwurst wrapped in warm pretzel roll had a perfect balance of meaty glutinous taste. The mustard added a little bite as aftertaste. A great item to order. My side of Papas Bravas - Spanish style potatoes w/ paprika, aioli, scallion was a perfect combination to my bratwurst. The potatoes were slightly crusty on the outside while being moist inside. The paprika added the visually striking color and the aioli added a creamy finish to each bite. This is a must have when visiting Corner Club. This place is a hidden neighborhood gem. If you are not local to the neighborhood, you might find it to be in the middle of nowhere. I think the location adds appeal to the history and legacy of corner club.

Wow! What a secret GEM! This place has such a great drinks, food and ambiance! We went on the coldest night of the year and they had cocktails to warm you up that were made fresh that night! It was movie night and they played the movie Elf. When it was the scene of the snowball fight, the owner Jeni sent all the kids out back to have their very own snowball fight! It's rare to find a place that cares so much about their customers the way this place does! The menu is small but the food is delicious and there is something for everyone including vegans! They have beer and wine but they make cocktails out of them that won't have you missing the liquor! They have games for kids and adults, a private room for events and an amazing outside area for eating, music and your fur babies! There is something for everyone in this place! HIGHLY recommend! Our new favorite spot!

A cute little spot for studying, holding meetings, or just relaxing. There is plenty of space inside and out. I had the chicken sandwich on honey biscuit which was good but a little dry and the mustard sauce it comes with wasn't the best pairing for it in my opinion. Service was good. Overall, I give it a B- experience.

    Cold brew

Very disappointing. Pop tart had no icing and doesn't look like it does in their picture, VLT sandwich is freezing cold day-old tasting veggies on stale bread w/oil on it, cold brew is bitter and SO small for the price. Don't waste your money

PBRs in a little PBR baggie coozie, so hilarious! And they're recyclable :)

One of my favorite new spots in Seminole Heights! They have great food, good variety in the beer and wine lists, and even though there's no liquor officially, with things like High Noon available, there's something to make everyone happy! Haven't been for the live music yet, but they have a really nice outdoor space with a stage setup. Great addition to the neighborhood!

We've enjoyed their beers many times back home in New Jersey, so it was great to finally stop in. We only had the beer, so I can't comment on the food, but the beers themselves were excellent. The standouts for us were the Maduro Brown Ale , along with a really refreshing watermelon rice beer. The only reason I'd knock off a star was the service. Three different bartenders checked in with us during our visit, but only one seemed interested in any kind of conversation. The other two barely said a word, which made the experience feel a bit less welcoming than we expected. Overall though, the beer was fantastic and definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

It was pretty good, especially with the toppings. My hubby ordered the Cuban. The first bites were a little dry, but when you got to the toppings, everything blended together, very similar to my veggie burger. The prices were very reasonable as well. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

I finally got the chance to check out Lees Grocery for a superbowl dinner and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere was very laid back and although it was pretty empty when we went, I can imagine it's a fun spot when it's more busy. The inside is smaller than I anticipated it to be, but I enjoyed it. Made it seem homier. I was surprised to see the large outdoor seating area, which seems great for larger groups! Food: The wings are absolutely amazing. We ordered the 10 wings, plain, with hot and mild sauce and blue cheese on the side. The wings were so perfectly seasoned and almost reminded me of the wings on a rotisserie chicken, nicely smoked. We also got a plain cheese pizza pie, 18''. It came out fresh, hot, and the cheese and sauce had great flavor. It does have a thicker chewier crust. Parmesan cheese, oregano, red pepper, and garlic powder are available to add on top. There were a lot of fun pizza options/ combos and we'll be back to try the more interesting flavors. I'm also interested in trying the garlic parmesan wings. The nice thing about smaller joints like this is that the food comes out quick and so fresh! No food is sitting around when the kitchen is so close to the main dining area. Drinks: They have such a large variey of canned craft beers, ipa's, seltzers, and even non-alcoholic beers. There were also 6 different draft beers. I sipped on some Surfside's, while my boyfriend enjoyed the Tampa Export gold lager. It was a very light and crisp beer. I really appreciated how welcoming and approachable the staff was. The atmosphere felt comfortable and family-like, and I loved that they don't hold back on the toppings. The flavor combination of how all the different toppings work together was even more enjoyable than the pizza underneath it for me personally. For this style of pizza, I'd definitely recommend getting something with sausage. The sausage was easily the best part for me, and this style of pizza really complemented the sausage they used. The crust had a little bit of a spongy texture which makes it a very filling pizza.

I've been coming here consistently since July 2023, usually 4 to 6 days a week every single week,…read moreso this place has genuinely been a huge part of my routine and community. My Google review from a year ago gave this place five stars because it truly felt like an amazing space built around dogs, community, and responsible ownership. Looking back at that review now honestly makes the decline even more disappointing, because even just a year ago this place felt completely different in the best way. This place is supposed to be a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs and the people who love them. For many members, our dogs are family, and that's why the recent direction of the business has become genuinely heartbreaking and honestly alarming to watch. A growing number of members are becoming deeply uncomfortable with the decision to repeatedly host large rave-style events at a facility specifically designed for dogs. After previous events, there were already serious concerns about the condition of the property afterward, even after professional cleaning crews had supposedly finished. Members and staff still found debris throughout the space and parking lot and many people are now questioning whether any environment used for late-night parties like this can realistically ever be cleaned well enough to guarantee dogs are safe there afterward. Dogs spend their entire time at this facility with their noses on the ground, sniffing turf, licking surfaces, and putting things in their mouths. That is exactly what dogs do. The idea that dangerous substances, residue, pills, or other hazardous materials could potentially be missed during cleanup is terrifying for pet owners. One mistake could have DEVASTATING consequences for someone's dog. The best comparison I can make is this: imagine if a daycare hosted large rave parties at night and then told parents the next morning that everything had been cleaned and was safe again. Most parents would never feel comfortable with that. That is exactly how many dog owners are starting to feel here. What made this weekend especially upsetting was learning that the business was supposed to reopen after the latest event, only for members to then receive notice that the facility would remain closed due to cleanup issues, with uncertainty about reopening even the next day. That only reinforced concerns that these events are creating problems far beyond a normal private party. At the same time, members continue paying premium annual fees while receiving reduced operating hours, less access, ongoing inventory problems at the bar, and repeated closures tied to outside events. Many people joined because this was marketed as a community-centered space focused on dogs, safety and responsible ownership. Lately, it feels like those priorities are no longer coming first. I know several members who are already questioning whether they will renew their memberships because trust in the safety and direction of the business is starting to disappear.
