Great authentic Mexican food. I ordered (and continue to order, as I keep coming back) the steak tacos with cilantro and onions. They're served with lime wedges and salsa (I prefer salsa verde) which is exactly what I'm used to at taco stands in Mexico. The staff has been very friendly whenever I've picked up food here. Authentic atmosphere as well, nice Spanish music playing makes for a lively dining experience. They also serve Mandarin (and other flavors) Jarritos which is my favorite beverage to wash down good Mexican food. The "new waiter" helped us, omg ‍! She got 3 orders out of 4 wrong!! I don't know if it was her fault or the chef's but she had an attitude/was being sarcastic because we were getting upset about her bringing the food wrong. She took the food back and had someone remove the stuff we didn't want in our order, when she came back it looked so unappetizing and it was cold already. I had to order something else. Ugh. This is a great place to go to late at night when you have the munchies. They serve great food and have drinks as well. The lomo saltado is very good here. I also had a limo with a green pasta here once which was very good as well. The sandwiches look great. This is authentic. My family and I go to eat here all the time since it is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is AMAZING and the prices are reasonable, they serve a big plate of food! The only downside are the waiters. I went with my family yesterday and the lady who served us wasn't nice at all, not once did she smile at us and overall her attitude was just nasty. It was the first time she served us but she always has that bitchy face on, and it makes the restaurant seem uninviting. Whenever we'd ask for something she gave us an even nastier look. We always leave a good $15 tip for them even though they 10/10 DO NOT deserve it. My grandpa asked for a fork since she seemed to have forgotten and she brought back a PLASTIC WHITE FORK. For such a busy restaurant I'm surprised that they didn't have any more silverware, it made it hard for him to eat since he has Parkinson's (his hands are very shaky). So so far so good they give you some nachos to start off my gf got the horchata she said it was awesome. A little upset after having ordered about 10 minutes later the waitress tells me they don't have carnitas... How do they not have pork. Anyway maybe they're closing soon ?! If you like tamales, this is the spot!! They make pretty good tortas(sandwiches) also, especially the cuban which has(ham, roast pork, string cheese, lettuce, tomato, beans, and chipotle peppers. The liquados are also pretty good( strawberry or bannana milkshake). Complimentary chips and salsa. Average price for a sandwich chips and a soda is $8-10 :). We have been coming to this place since forever. The service used to be good. They didn't bring one of our orders out and didn't try to apologize. We loved this place until tonight when it took 45 minutes for our order to come out, and when we spoke to the servers and the cooks and whoever we needed to speak to, they didn't care that our experience was subpar. This is my favorite Mexican place in White plains. I always get the Nacho's. Also the chips they give you are different than the ones on the Nacho's. I swear they make the chips for it. Amazing tacos al pastor (pork with pineapple). The chorizo tacos are nicely spiced, the adobo tacos a little tough. But the al pastor and the spicy pork are the choices I return to. Beats all of the tacos I've had in the city (believe me, I've been on the hunt), and makes me nostalgic for the ones I've had in San Diego! The neighborhood is kind of sketch, but the food is very authentic - nobody here really speaks english, so be sure to point at the right item. Came here on a late night dinner and they did not disappoint. The torta I got was massive and had lots of different fillings. The pork wasn't that soft but the combination of many different things made up for it, as well as the taste. It Included cheese, bacon, even some avocado. Horrible owners! Every time I call it's always a different price. How do they charge me $3.50 for a 2 liter soda and then charge me $4.50 for the same soda the next few days later? When I asked about the price difference they got mad and said they change the price whenever they want. What type of business does this? Food is alright but prices are horrible. Place has cockroaches and they charge prices as if they were a high quality place. Just checked out the menu they gave out for my delivery and prices weren't even the same that I was charged for. I have to say, I absolutely love the beaded chicken sandwich. It has a great mixture of veggies bread and chicken. And it's huge!! I can only eat half of it! This place delivers the best tacos carnitas in White Plains: it's very juicy, chewy and fresh. One bite alone it's enough to get all your taste buds working. However, the wait line is often very long and their tortillas tend to be too dry than most tacos restaurants. I thought I would try this place out because it has some really glowing reviews. I would have loved to try whatever tacos they were served because the ones my friend and I got, we're not so good. It is really difficult to find a reasonably priced authentic Mexican taco in Mew York. Usually if they are over 1.50 each I assume they won't be amazing. Which is what I experienced here. They are cheaper than other places in the area, however my steak tacos were unseasoned, I had to add salt, the onions and cilantro didn't even help. My friends chicken tacos were also unseasoned and dry. I gave it two stars because the presentation was good and they were ready when I came to pick them up. I wouldn't come here again. Stopped by twice. The first time it was late at night and I really appreciated how well lit this place was. There was a large family eating there and had the feel of a good local spot. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich which was very good. I wasn't expecting much so I was pretty happy. The second time my expectations were higher. I ordered the steak with green spaghetti. The steak was good but the spaghetti was not the best I've had. Being from California; I was excited to find a Mexican restauraunt and was pleased to see that Menudo/Pancita was served here, along with Horchata, a noticeably sweet drink. I went there today I was craving for some green chilaquiles so I ask how much was the order and they told me $$$$$$$13 I was shock that's way too much for a plate of chilaquiles they are just tortillas with green sauce wtf..??? And if u wanna add meat it's extra we'll they told me that I could get half of order so I decided to do that and I add meat to it at the end the total was $$$11 WOOOW I Though I hope they are worth it as soon as get home I start eating them and there was NO FLAVOR AT ALL there was lettuce and radish in my chilaquiles I swear I'm not too picky but thanks to this I didn't eat anything for the rest of the day was gross the only good thing in this place are the TORTAS without mentioning that the tortas were $$$6 and now almost $$8 read more
