YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY BE HELPED IN THIS STORE, BRING KIDS WITH YOU AND LET THEM RUN WILD, OTHERWISE, JOHN, THE CURRENT STORE MANAGER WILL SEND HIS EMPLOYEES HOME AND PRETEND HE DIDNT REMEMBER CHECKING YOU IN, FORCING YOU TO WAIT OVER AN HOUR WITH NO ONE IN FRONT OF YOU. John, the middle aged current store manager is an absolute failure. My family and I were the ONLY PEOPLE waiting for over an hour, 2hr before close, on a weeknight in January. I watched John send what appeared to be all but one employee home, watched customers come in, be helped and leave - all while he sat at a table and chatted it up with some couple in their 70s. At the hour mark, I asked the one employee and. He said "Uh, I didn't know we had anyone waiting." We were told when we checked in, by John that it would be a 20 min, so at the point, I let my 5 year old, at 8:40pm go BUCK WILD in the store, as we were the only people in there. I recommend letting them play with the speakers... AS LOUDLY AS POSSIBLE. Less than 3 mins later, John, somehow managed to gather the energy to get up, and go to the back, and LO AND BEHOLD, Erik walks out to help. Erik had no idea we were waiting either, so I asked John why he thought it was okay to make waiting customer sit around while he sent all of his staff home and did absolutely nothing in his actual job descriptions, He couldn't answer why he let his entire staff leave when he knew he had waiting customers, as the store manager he would know if there were people waiting in line, he couldn't do anything other than avoid looking at me. He knew, and his employee knew I was right, but he doesn't have enough spine to admit that he thought we would leave, that he could up sell us, or maybe he's one of those weirdos who only get a little power in life and think it's fun to make people wait for no reason. After his customers who had been sitting there for the entire time we had been in the mall, finally left, I wanted to talk to him, but John didn't have the intestinal fortitude to even speak to me, and slithered back to his hole in the back of the store because John is a failure. Bryce at the front door was sloppy and rude. He projected a positive attitude while verbalizing lies and negativity with a smile. I had a scheduled appointment for 7:00pm. I was 13 minutes late unfortunately, but in the 15 minute window, which he said I was out of. Being late in general I didn't complain, as he proceeded to tell me to make sure to be back in store before 8:00 closing, in order to be seen at all. My wife and I waited with an impatient 5-year-old for the next 30 minutes. At this point, the agent that became free other than himself, he released telling to go home. He then proceeded to tell us that if the other sales rep on the floor happened to finish in time we may be assisted. This was obviously going to be impossible. I understand covid is all over and people are scared or getting sick. With that said, my family visited the Dimond Verizon today with an appointment scheduled to get a new phone. We got met at the door by an agent that told us to do everything on the app and not to go it in store.... if I wanted to do it on the app we would have never made an appointment. 6 employees working maybe more all sitting around looking frustrated every time they had to stand up to tell someone to just do everything on our apps.. supper frustrating. Why being paying people to work and help people if they do nothing. We are now sitting in our car in the parking lot setting up a phone that we pay this company to do for us. WTF If we weren't grandfathered I to a unlimited family plan from 10 years ago we would drop Verizon so fast. read more

How to make a Verizon phone: 1) Take a clean and bloat-free phone that works on most of the world's networks. 2) Add an NFL app to it, which cannot be deleted. 3) Add Verizon Navigator because you need red icons. This should be vastly inferior to Google Maps, oh, make sure this cannot be deleted either. 4) Add "Message +", finally an app that makes it even easier for Verizon to spy on me and hand my data over to the government! Oh, and it has a RED icon! Make sure users can't delete this either. 5) Add "HP Print Service Plugin", just...because. Important: make sure this app can't be deleted. 6) Add "My Verizon Mobile", so you can check in on your account, because there isn't a website or monthly bill or anything. Also: make it un-delete-able. 7) Add "Backup+ Contact". Red icon, not delete-able, need I say more? 8) Add "Verizon Login", it has a red logo and has redundant functionality. It also can not be delete, a Verizon classic. 9) Stamp 2 to 7 VERIZON logos all over the device. Add a couple generic corporate flourishes like that middle-management-committee-produced "check mark" and a couple "4GLTE" decals. It's important to know who owns you, and your data, and what kind of data connection they are using to own you. 10) Make it extremely difficult to use on other networks. If the customer/databag tries to forcibly remove any of the useless, offensive, mandatory Verizon software from the device: void the devices warranty. But, they have fast data speeds. So I take the abuse. Having said all that, the gentlemen here was very nice and eager to assist. Perhaps too eager to give me the hard-sell on a myriad of widgets and do-dads and gizmos I don't need. It took me about an hour to pickup a new phone here, after loosing mine forever on a 10 mile glacier. read more

My husband and I recently moved to AK through the military and quickly found out that Sprint doesn't work up here! We found this Verizon kiosk in the mall and met some of the friendliest and professional employees ever! Not only did they easily transition our phones over to Verizon, they were fun, energetic, professional and patient throughout the process. I wish every business interaction could be this great!
