Place is a ripoff joint - a fake verizon store - dudes are scammers who don't know what they're talking about - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

As others have pointed out these guys are straight crooks. They are an "authorized" reseller of Verizon, not flagship. They added all sorts of nonsense to my account, and told my wife flat out lies about having 30 days to return an iPhone (I misplaced my iPhone for less than 2 weeks), so they sent me to Verizon flagship store. Flagship told me they (Russell) don't know what they are talking about and had to drive all the way back only to call Verizon main line directly to get one of many issues resolved. In the process Russell had voided my previous agreement and between Russell and Verizon they voided $474 in device credits. Biggest scam I have ever seen from a company both Russell and Verizon. Honestly, getting ready to leave Verizon entirely over it and I have been a customer for close to 20 years with 7 different lines on the account. Caveat Emptor! read more

This store is straight garbage! I've been a customer for 2+ years had no problem. Went into this store and this little kid started to add a lot of stuff onto my account without my consent or form of signature and proceeded to lie about getting a promotion. My bill was $87 before I went in by the time I came out my bill was 180. Now my bill is messed up every month and I have to deal with calling every time. When I went to the manager and told him what his employee had done, he said there was nothing he could do about it. This store is straight garbage and I'm annoyed I have to deal with this. NEVER USE THIS STORE! THEY ARE CROOKS! I wish I had read the review before going in. I paid for a new phone and I am almost certain the salesperson switched it to a used broken phone. He misrepresented plans and tried to oversell me on a plan I didn't need it. Go to Apple or a real Verizon store rather than these crooks. read more

Just had an amazing experience at the Russell Verizon store, Huntsman, Springfield. I knew from past experience we were going to get good help from Sam and we did. Also, though didn't get her name, the other employee in the store was also helpful. Not worth the money or frustration! I upgraded my son and my phones earlier this month. Russell Cellular overcharged me for the phone, and not properly apply the discounts (even though they said they would). I was told that only the "Manager" can help me and for the last three weeks I have been actively waiting for a call back. Every time I stop in the store he isn't here. He will not get back to me to explain why they are ripping me off or to help fix things. I'm sorry I ever walked into this FAKE Verizon wireless store. What a rip off. read more

Stay away from this store!!!! I had a great experience buying my new phones but then the bill came and the monthly charges were $10 more than I was quoted. They refused to fix it because it was three days past the 14 day grace period. When I went in to get it resolved the manager laughed at me and sent me to the corporate store which was a waste of time since I did not buy through Verizon. NEVER NEVER NEVER use a non corporate store to buy a cell phone plan and NEVER EVER go to this store!!!!!!!!! I came home and switched to ATT who bought my Verizon phones and gave me a much better deal including upgrading my brand new phones. read more

The manager that helped me (Mohammed) was actually very polite and listened with intend and purpose, while helping me find a solution that Verizon can provide. He was very polite and professional and there was no waiting around before he greets you and makes you feel at home...This is now my goto store for Verizon. read more

Terrible. Employee up-sold and highly pressured us into buying the Gadget Guard Screen protector, extolling its virtues and warranty. Paid about 50 for this magic screen protector that was supposed to keep scratches off, and if anything happened, they would fix or replace the screen. Yea, not 6 months later, get a small crack, contact the company, they told me they would not honor the warranty. The individual here lied his a@@ off selling this thing and here I am with a busted screen and no help. AVOID THIS PLACE, full of liars and scam artists! Already filed a BBB, a fraudulent charge on my credit card and a State's Attorney General complaint for fraud. read more

I had an agreement with what I now know to be the former owners on a screen protector. They could see I have several of my kids phones coming to be replace and a couple of iPads so they were motivated to cut me a nice discount on a screen protector. I came in 4 separate times to pick it up without success. The first 3 it was not there and the last the store was closed. Turns out they were bought out. The new owners refused to honor the agreement that I know was typed into the system. They would not call anyone to confirm nor did they care we have been customers since the days of Alltel back in the early 90's. The gentleman in charge simply said they would give me $5 off the $50 but they would not honor the former owners agreement. This worked out for the good as I went to the official store and the same screen protector was $35.99. Glad I walked out that store for the last time. They were lousy with customer service and over charging me. read more

Unbelievably poor service: told by our regular Verizon store that VZ is offering an unlimited plan to those over 55, we made the mistake of stopping into this store to convert our plan to that. That was at 2 pm on October 20, 2018. Two guys were working there. They stared at one another like we had two heads. They had absolutely no idea about that pricing plan, and not the slightest curiosity to look it up. We just walked out. Why would Verizon have such inept and unhelpful staff? read more

This store is awesome, my boyfriend and I went to attempt to activate service with a Verizon phone that he had previously owned 6 months prior. We had countless calls to tech support, trying to prove the phone was a Verizon phone that was paid off. Turns out it was on a non paid list. We worked with Mhaira who was absolutely amazing! We had to leave another store because they made up reasons to get us to go after being on the line for an hour but Mhaira was extremely patient and sweet and saw us through the entire process even when we began to lose patience ourselves. I would definitely recommend this store! The other Verizon Store in the Burke area was full of rude workers who did not want to do their job, but here they really work with you individually until your issue is resolved. read more

This is the first review I am writing, but I have to write it because this store definitely deserves 5 stars for its professionalism and excellent customer service! I'm not sure when this store's management changed, but it definitely changed for the better. I went to the store to buy the Samsung galaxy 7 for it's affordability compared to the other smart phones. Matt, the Communications Consultant, was the one to assist me and asked out of curiosity why I was going for the outdated phone and I explained I was working with a specific budget. I also informed him that in recent months I had grown frustrated with Apple and wanted to make a change from the iPhone which I had for the past four years. I can't emphasize enough how great Matt was. He didn't badger me or bully me into any promotions or sales like typical salesmen do and respected my price range. He honestly laid out what my options were while keeping my price range in mind. He explained the store had a current promotion going on that if you traded in your current smartphone, they would put a certain credit towards specific smartphones, one of which was the new Google Pixel 2. He explained I'd actually be paying less for the Pixel 2 than the Galaxy 7 and gett the most raved about smartphone on the market. I had a cracked screen on my iPhone and in order to cash in on the promotion it had to be properly functioning. Matt and the store manager, Aurish Nasir, took a look at my phone and told me I could get my screen easily fixed for about $80 and referred me to a smartphone repair shop in the area. Even with paying for the cracked screen, I would still end up paying less than the Galaxy 7! I was still hesitant, however, to be completely onboard without checking the phone firsthand, which they unfortunately did not have in store. But, the guys were so great that they had no problem in arranging to get the Pixel from a store in Vienna specifically for me to check it out. The manager, Aurish, placed a call to the store and sorted it out to retrieve it. I didn't expect the offer at all and assumed they would simply apologize for the inconvenience of not having it and leave it at that. Matt drove out to Vienna to get me the Pixel while I handled the business of getting my screen repaired. I returned to the store the following day because of the repair shop having closed by the time I left the store, but I honestly didn't mind returning the next day because of the awesome service I received from the two men. I know I've gone on a long tangent, so I'll try to cut to the chase -- Matt is awesome for hooking me up with the Pixel 2, finding a promotion that works for me, and even provided the screen protector for the phone at a discounted price. He took the time to give me a tour of the phone since I am completely new to Androids and made sure all of my questions/concerns were addressed before I left the store. He is very easy to talk to and like I said, I didn't feel at any time that I was being bullied into a decision which I really appreciate. I tend to do online shopping to avoid sales people, but Matt and his manager, Aurish, and coworker, Tahsan, who assisted in answering my questions and setting up my screen protector on the new phone were all so excellent and made it so hassle free! After leaving the store I actually started to experience some technical issues with my new phone in not being able to place phone calls so rushed right back to the store and Matt took care of it, no problem at all. I didn't feel like I was taking away from his time. Matt, you're a rockstar! I had only the most positive and pleasant experience at this store and will absolutely return to this store in the future. read more
