I got involved in a problem where the store manager took advantage of an 82 year old woman. She walked in with a problem with her phone and walked out with a smaller phone, an iPad, iWatch and a home internet system. Shameful. I admittedly lost my temper and was thrown out of the store. Terrible. My wife went in yesterday, Oct 2 to get a new phone for our son. She was forced- FORCED - to take a new iWatch iPad and Home Internet with insurance. We can remove the insurance later. They said the cost would only be an additional $15. Our bill already jumped $150! And it is virtually impossible to remove the insurance. Called Verizon directly and nothing we were told was true. Spent 2 hours on the phone to fix the billing issues. I will be going with my wife to return everything. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! THEY WILL ROB YOU!!! read more

Muhammad took advantage of my elderly mom, who just came into their store to get her phone fixed. He sold her $1000s of dollars worth of new devices but she just needed her phone fixed and he couldn't do it because it was a visible by Verizon phone. He setup her new phone and number and helped her changed her passwords to access but unfortunately the number on the phone & number he took as trade - in was her recovery # for Apple ID. Now they won't take back all the devices until apple find my phone is cleared and she don't know her password that he setup for her while in the store. When I went back and confronted him, he denied everything and blamed it on my mom but stilled wouldn't take back anything . Also, While I was waiting to talk to him about this issue, he was completely lying to another couple about devices and accessories they had to buy and if acted checked his answers which were total lies just to sell more stuff . He's a fast talker and will confuse people when explaining things and will convince people to buy things they actually don't need. There is a deception law that I plan on pursuing on behalf of my Mom with the hope it stops him from doing this to other people and get my mom's money back. Please stay out of that store and buyer beware. read more

Very rude, very unhelpful. When you are purchasing something "your bill won't go up", or "your bill will only be x amount". Yet then when your bill goes up, and is not x amount, "we don't deal with billing". And do not give them a phone for trade in- they lost it. It was subsequently found, but took a few months. read more

DO NOT BOTHER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE (Yorkville) ! IT IS (what I call a franchise store). They are clueless in what they are doing, at lest for our order, we Ordered new iphones 15, home internet, the only thing that's working is the home internet, and that's questionable, we were told one price for the speed and do not even get close to that, we were told it would be $10.00 less for doing paperless billing and another for being new customers, so it would be $35.00 for 3yrs. another joke! Paying $45. On the iphones, we ordered back in September, we were told they would be in by Oct. 6 but probably before lol, nearing Dec 1st and no phones I call Verizon and was told the order was never sent, we got our phones in 4 days. We went to the Oswego store (a real Verizon store) to see if we could get the (FREE) ipad and was told when we get the phones bring them in and for $60.00 they would transfer the data for us and we could maybe get the ipad.haha Needless to say I transferred my own data and said heck to the ipad. FYI- If you have elderly parent(s) and they are not sure about updating etc.. PLEASE GO for them or with them. The clerk put a screen protector on and charged the lady $30.00! The clerk then tried to get the lady to buy the home internet, and she wasn't sure and thought maybe the building she just moved to might have internet, after the clerks 3rd attempt I said why not ask you daughter and said yes that's what I'll do and when she left she thanked me and smiled! read more

Even with multiple customers in the store, he was able to help all of us at the same time, making sure none of us had to wait too long. Recently there with my wife to upgrade our phones and service. Our salesperson whose nickname is "goose", was very knowledgeable and personable. He patiently worked with us on the purchase of new Apple iPhones, accessories, and answered all of our questions about the " 55 and Older Unlimited Data Plan" with autopay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend the Yorkville location for anyone interested in upgrading their phones. read more

Costly Incompetence At the Yorkville, IL Verizon store (TCC) I talked with 2 store reps who seemed friendly and helpful when I talked to them. But, after doing exactly what they told me to do, it then became obvious they didn't know what they were talking about, and their incompetency cost me $632.71. Maybe they were poorly trained for the job they were doing? If yes, then this puts the blame on Verizon and the store owner/manager, for letting poorly trained people represent them. Or, maybe the 2 guys were trained, but didn't learn squat? I don't know. All I know is that their incompetency cost me $632.71, and Verizon was unwilling to undo their representative's mistakes. Other than to give me a $5 account credit, to compensate me for the $632.71 they took out of my account. So, from my experience if you deal with this store, you should expect full incompetency from the reps working there. And if you deal with Verizon, you should expect them to weasel any money they can get out of your account, even if their reason is because you did exactly what their incompetent reps told you to do. But then they'll give you a $5 credit, as compensation for your loss. read more
