Yes, this is the big Verizon store in the Trade Joe plaza in Nashua. They would misrepresent themselves anyway they could to get you sign up for an expensive plan. We signed up for an international travel plan for our trip overboard but changed our mind and tried to cancel this plan before we begin our travel. We were told, "Oh, you have to call Verizon Customer Service, we don't do the plan cancellation here." The charge has already shown up on our next bill even though we haven't begun our trip yet. The bill balloons from $223.77 to $502.01 . If you still want to believe those 5-star rating then go ahead and experience it for yourself. read more

My husband and I went to the "big" Verizon store in the Trader Joe's plaza. As luck would have it, they were out of stock on the phone we wanted and suggested we go to Verizon in the Pheasant Lane mall. Begrudgingly, we went to the mall. We HATE shopping for cell phones. We'd rather go to the RMV than be pushed to buy the latest greatest and don't get me going on the "smoke and mirrors" of the cell plans. Upon arrival at the Verizon mall location, we were warmly greeted by Tom Vartanian. Somewhat skeptical, we thought, "here we go". Were we ever wrong! Tom took the time to research plans, phones and on-going promotions to get us the very best deal. He was always informative, never pushy and pleasant to deal with. This pheasant lane mall Verizon store signed me up for a more expensive plan than we agreed upon. When confronted they acknowledged they were wrong and then went silent and ghosted the issue when presented with evidence. Keep in mind this location is a THRID PARTY store, not an official Verizon corporate store. They have a bad reputation, and the owner Al Pellecchia covers up his employees scams. Please do not shop here, just drive down the street to the actual Verizon store. This place will scam you out of money! read more

Had to get my phone fixed at the Apple Store, they had to wipe my phone and could not reactivate the eSIM, told me to just go down the way to the Verizon store by Target and they would be able to do it. I walked down, and found two employees and a bunch of customers; the store was very messy, boxes and random pieces of technology strewn about. I waited to be acknowledged, and a gentleman wearing a hoodie asked what I needed. I explained that I was there to activate my eSIM, and he said that was going to cost $40. I balked at the cost, becuase I have never had to pay to activate a new phone on my plan. He laughed at me and told me I would have to go to the "Corporate Verizon Store" if I wanted my eSIM activated without paying the charge. He then laughed and said, "but they're closed now, and you obviously can't call them." I tried to clarify that the eSIM activation was normally free, and he confirmed, but he explained that this was actually a franchise (and tried to Man-splain what a franchise it) and that he worked on commission. "eSIM activations take time, and we work on commission, and as you can see, we have a store full of customers." He seemed to take pleasure in my predicament and the power he felt he held over me. Ultimately, I walked out, went home, and was able to activate my eSIM on my own, for FREE by calling Verizon Custome Service. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This location tried to rip me off in multiple ways. Sold away my preordered phone. Now the DID drive to another location to get a similar phone but after that improperly credited my account for my phone trade in (about $600 short) and added a protection plan I didn't want - or even have qualifying products for to the tune of $25/mo. It took me many hours over 9 months on the phone with Verizon corporate to get it straightened out. Thank Goodness Verizon did the right thing, because this place WILL NOT. Unethical and dishonest. Associate Mark T, charged upgrade fees from verizon when I specifically asked and was told there were no upgrade fees. Verizon refunded one fee and said I had to return to store to get rest refunded. Spoke to Mark T at store and who sold me the stuff and he was rude and not refund charges. Then lied to me saying he tells everyone the same thing. Purchased $2500 in phones and $300 in equipment. and would not refund remaining $70 in fees. Apparently dishonest practices by employees to sell phones. Save you money and time and go to a corporate office. I have been going there for years and everytime there is an issue. Never will go there again and I encourage you not to. read more

Went in to collect a new phone and was served (eventually) by a kid wearing beats headphones. Should have been an easy transaction but then he tried to charge me $30 to hold my own phone and let it scan my face which was them "setting it up". They also lie in this store and claim it is mandatory to take insurance out on all products... something Verizon themselves say is not something they enforce. You're better off going to the other Verizon store where they don't stealth hidden charges onto your bill. read more

I went to the store to switch from AT&T. They told me they would give me $800.00 for my phone as a trade in and my bill would be $90.00 a month. When I logged onto my online account my bill was over $200.00 a month and they did not pay me for my trade. They kept my AT&T phone and did not pay me. I am not sure if a store employee stole it or if the store stole it but someone stole it. In addition Verizon will not release my phone number. The phone service is also terrible compared to AT&T. I wish my review could be negative stars. Beware of this store!!!!! read more

You really want to beware of this business. Danny, the "manager" is extremely rude following an escalation from another employee who refused to give his name and hung up on me. Basically, they refused to credit returned merchandise that they gave us in error. Once replaced, they didn't credit the return and we have to pay almost $500 for their error. They flat out refused to assist after in person visits and many calls. Do not accept any promotions from them that they tell you will save you money. You really want to deal with Verizon corporate because you will have no recourse when this franchise cheats you. read more

Buyer beware at this place! I went here to compare Verizon plans and offers with my current carrier AT&T. I wanted an iPhone 6 Plus and they told me they just sold their last one and would have to get another from another store. If I came back when they opened the next day they'd have it. I decided to make the leap from AT&T to Verizon because their plans were cheaper and a better deal. So the next day I showed up when they opened. We got the paper work filled out and they had the phone. They offered to transfer my data off my old phone to the new one using a machine they had. It should have taken 20-30 minutes but took over 2 hours! While waiting I asked about buying AppleCare and was told they don't offer it. So i took a walk down to the Apple Store. They told me Verizon should offer it and that was strange. So I decided to purchase it later online at home when I had the time. Later I contacted Apple and bought AppleCare. When Apple emailed me my certificate I noticed the activation date was off by a month so i called them. They said the phone must have been used and activated previously by someone else! Then I noticed the phone was malfunctioning - apps crashing, texts not going through, Safari not opening, etc. I called the Verizon store and told them they sold me a dud and a USED phone at that. No apology - nothing. They told me they would have to order the phone and it would take several days. I ended up speaking to the manager about the issues because the clerk I spoke to could have cared less about the issues. The new phone eventually arrived and I was notified. When I picked it up the clerk was rude to other customers, even telling one he didn't have time to help her and she should come back the next day. She wasn't pleased and had a few choice words so since my phone was updating and transferring data I told him to help her. With my new phone in hand I went back to the Apple Store and told them what happened. They took care of my AppleCare and applied the new phone's info to my protection plan. They also admitted they have had countless customers come in with nightmare stories about this Verizon location. They also informed me I didn't actually buy from Verizon but from a Verizon Reseller. I had no idea! All the signage makes this store look like it's Verizon. Since Apple told me the actual Verizon store was down at the other end of the mall I decided to go talk to the manager about my experience with the reseller. The manager told me he's gotten many complaints. He was very sympathetic and told me he would mention my experience with the district manager. He even took my contact info as of this writing I have not heard from anyone. read more

I called in to order an iPhone 7 during a promotional period when I could trade in my iPhone 6 for $5. I received an e-mail confirmation that the phone was shipped but it was the wrong color that the rep had ordered for me. I called them NUMEROUS times to resolve this issue and no 2 people gave me the same answer. "No worries. We will just trade the silver in for the gold". "Um, not sure but you might be outside the promotional period because we have to cancel your order and put in a new order". "Come on in and we can just give you one of the gold phones we're getting in and it should be fine". Well, I drive an hour trip and speak to Chris Callaghan, who is a manager that I was directed to speak with, and he basically told me they cancelled my order and there's nothing they can do about it. I can, however, pay for a new iPhone 7 at full price. Gee, can I Chris?!? Thank you!!! This location IS NOT an authorized dealer. Go to the downstairs Verizon Authorized Dealer and avoid the headache of incompetent, unknowledgeable, unhelpful clowns at this location. I left at least 5 message with a promise of a returned phone call over a period of 6 weeks and guess how many I received??? Yes, the big ZERO! James, Dan, Chris, Ben, and Michael (no longer there) proved to be a colossal waste of my time. I'm working with Verizon directly to rectify this situation if it even can be. The solution may very well be to switch to AT&T after being with Verizon for 25+ years. I should also note that they short changed me on a credit for a returned phone and the response back from them was "Huh, I didn't even notice that". atrocious customer service. I went up to pickup my new phone. When I got there (approximately 4:30) was told that the data transfer would take 20 minutes to a half hour. So we went out to dinner. Came back 45 minutes later, was told "just another 10 minutes" while two of the three employees there were helping another customer set up her Verizon account using the customer's grandson as a interpreter, All the time, telling her "we don't set up people's accounts, its a Verizon thing, you have to do it yourself". So left the store, walked around for 10 minutes and return. "Just another 10 minutes" while still helping the other customer. Finally, at 6:00 (an hour and a half) I finally said to the person "helping" me that I would just take the two phones and do the transfer myself. If you buy a phone here, expect a looonnngg time waiting for it to be set up. read more

I've been to many Verizon stores but I have never had a better experience. Brad Yates was incredibly helpful, patient, knowledgeable and personable. Do not go to this store! They changed my contract after I left the star, charging me an extra $300 for the two phones that I bought. Here is what happened. The store clerk, Kevin, lied to me about the pricing for the two phones that I wanted, an iPhone 7 and a iPhone 6sPlus. He said that they would cost $480 and $650, respectively. When I left the store he wrote up a new contract for my phones, charging me more and forged my signature. I then had to call Verizon Customer Support directly, they did not understand what had happened and explained to me an important fact. The Verizon Wireless store upstairs in the Pheasant Lane Mall is a 3rd-party seller so can basically do whatever they want as far as charging, after market products, or as it turns out ripping off their customers and Verizon cannot stop them or help their own customers. I then ended up going to the store with both of my phones and told them that I wanted to return them because I was ripped off. The store clerk informed me that I could not return them because I did not have the original boxes. The store clerk was then talking to the other clerk who said it was "Kevin", who had been fired for ... defrauding customers. You would think this would be where they fix everything, but no, nothing. I had to demand that they return the phones for them to even call the manager. They called the manager, who could do nothing and had to call the owner. They then told me to "walk around the mall and come back in 20 minutes". While blowing off some steam by becoming a mall walker, I went to the real Verizon Store which is downstairs near Target. This is a corporate store and let me say, the only place you should go. The assistant manager at this store, hearing my story told me not to go back upstairs, returned both of my phones for me and got me a new set of phones at the correct price, took the time to get everything setup and was generally awesome. In summary: - beware of 3rd party sellers, especially the one upstairs in the Pheasant Lane Mall. If you do happen to go by the upstairs store, please stop in and tell them that Chad told you to never shop there. - Go to the downstairs Verizon store. They are great! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Went in last Saturday to get a new phone. No one was really helpful with insight on pros and cons rather just wanted to make a sale. I ended up getting a Note9. The guy I got it from was extremely messy and had his lunch out on the counter, and all over him. Mind you he's the store manager. Red flag #1. They sold me a CellHelmet liquid screen protector for $80+/- ( do not buy that garbage ) I had issues w the phone right away so I went in a few days later to return it but a different guy talked me into keeping it and I couldn't get my money back on the cellhelmet trash and I didn't wanna throw my money away so I kept the phone. Fast forward to today and I go to UML, on my way home, all the way in townsend, i stepped into the store to return the phone and i forgot the wall charger so i couldn't return it. Be it as it may i was pissed i couldn't return the phone. So i spent all day driving home, going back and returning my phone and the same guy who originally sold me the phone didn't try n help out at all. Basically i got screwed out $80 for the protector and a $35 restocking fee....when they claim to send back as defective..I paid $115 to basically go back to my S7. I will NEVER go back to that place and I don't suggest anyone go there unless you need like a charger or something simple. One guy was kind rude and came off as pretentious. 10/10 trash. read more

Extremely disappointed. My initial trip there was a great was. The staff was friendly and made upgrading my phone simple. However, a few weeks later when I got my bill I was NOT happy. I had charges on my account that I was told I paid in store, however I had been double charged. I was not told that the fee I was paying in store was actually a fee to this store and not the Verizon Wireless upgrade fee. I was completely mislead. When I went there to discuss they told me Verizon had 2 charges one in person and one on your bill. This seemed odd so I called Verizon corporate and found out this was not true! Thankfully Verizon Wireless Corporate credited my account to make up for being mislead. If you don't mind paying extra fees go for it, but personally would not recommend. read more

I can't believe how rude the employee was! I went in on October 14th because I had questions about my phone that I had purchased a week earlier such as how do I transfer my apps and pictures from my old phone to my new one because on the evening I purchased my phone there wasn't enough time. The employee just said go to Verizon.com for all of your questions and immediately went to another customer leaving me standing there. I was confused and left with no answers. Wait time was so long. Waited over 45 minutes to add two phones to my plan, and process the SIM cards to my account. The employee I was working with was nice but seemed kind of rushed. It seems they were getting overwhelmed with the other customers that were behind me. I wanted to buy an iPad and wanted to know more about the plans but felt really rushed sand uncomfortable. This store is really close to my home I just hope in the future I get better service. read more

To be clear, Verizon Zone is a Franchise store, NOT corporate store. This den of liars and thieves is located upstairs in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH. I have taken the liberty to report them to Verizon Corporate, they had a lovely chat with them as well and agree they are "shady" at best. Make your day a bright one and go downstairs to the Verizon Corporate store in this mall, they are the best.
