We walked in to end a service, and the manager of the store was so rude. The woman in the back was sweet, she asked us what we needed, but as soon as my partner spoke to say he wanted to end his line, a man in a grey suit who I assume must manage the store got up from his customers he was in the middle of helping and came into our conversation with such a hostility. I am surprising myself by writing a five star review for a Verizon Authorized Retailer, but here I am! I walked into this Verizon a few weeks ago with what I thought was a complicated problem that I was unable to solve through the Verizon website or on the phone with Verizon. This was the Verizon retailer closest to where I live, and I walked in less than an hour before the store closes on a Sunday evening... so I expected the experience to be a bit of a headache. Instead, I received some of the best customer service I've ever had anywhere. The sales manager, Hope, made the entire experience hassle free (and judgement free, and impatience free...) She solved my problems, answered all of my questions, and did so with the kind of patience, knowledge, honesty, and friendliness that is very hard to come by, especially with a giant company like Verizon. I went in again today to pick up my new phone and had an equally lovely experience. Honestly, I have a new outlook on my neighborhood Verizon retailer thanks to Hope and the other folks at this outstanding location. read more

The staff is really nice and helpful. The store is clean and the layout is cool. Only reason why I'm leaving 4 stars and not 5 is because they always leave the Open sign turned on even when they're closed and it bugs me. Update: The sign is fixed. So now they're perfect! Ahahaha read more

I went into this store today and had a great insightful visit looking into my options of upgrading my phone to the new iPhone 13 pro (from the 11 pro). I was on the starter plan (the basic unlimited plan) and I was informed that I would need to upgrade my phone to a more expensive monthly plan to receive the discount on the new phone. I said I would think about it and left the store with all my print outs. I was very upset to get home and realize my phone was upgraded to the more expensive plan today when I did not in fact buy the actual phone that required this. This change was done without my consent, I did not sign anything or tell them it was okay to upgrade my monthly plan. I've tried to call Verizon customer service but with the new iPhone being released, I have yet to get through. I will no longer return to this store for any of my cell phone needs. I recommend other people also look elsewhere when thinking of upgrading their phones. read more

SCAMMERS STAY AWAY. Employees are pleasant but the chains business practice is just fraudulent. They tried to manipulate my bill multiple times in hopes they wouldnt have to credit me anything for my trade in. Lied to my face several times as they arbitrarily changed the price of things on my bill to work for them. Also heard them lie to another customer as I was waiting- told the lady that they only had one type of wireless charger ( the most expensive one) while multiple cheaper ones were on a hook right next to me.... Who ever is the ring leader of this racket should be ashamed. read more

Zero stars. Ridiculous, shady business practices. I was forced to use wireless zone instead of going through an actual, educated, trained verizon rep due to my phone dying and not having any other way to communicate with my elderly parents. Late on a friday night, I needed a phone. Well, I just got my first bill from that visit to Wireless Zone in Harbor Point and boy, did they do a number on me. My monthly bill was DOUBLE my previous bill. Sure, I expected to see a monthly charge for the new phone, but they failed to mention losing my discounts, the upgrade fee, and assorted other fees I was slammed with. BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will absolutely rip you off. I called Verizon and lodged a complaint. Also lodged a complaint with the better business bureau. What a crock of crap those people are slinging. I guess that they think if you live in Harbor Point, you have cash so they'll take advantage of you. Maybe you guys should go and get a real, honest profession instead of ripping people off. read more

I don't often leave reviews but I felt I had to in this case. Michael Herrera (Manager) at the Stamford Verizon location provides epic customer service. I highly recommend that you work with him. With his assistance I purchased an iPhone and was in and out of the store in 30 minutes. I can't say enough great things about Michael and this Verizon store.
