I am writing about Verizon wireless Corporate. I spent over 4 hours on the phone being shuffled from person to person. suddenly, within the last 30 days I get 30 to 50 spam calls a day from numbers I HAVE PREVIOUSLY BLOCKED. I have Verizon filter installed at highest setting and it worked until a month ago. It is part of a bundled package of new phone, phone service and internet. I talked to numerous reps who told me that, essentially, the spoofers are smarter than Verizon, change my phone number of 30 years, handle it with the government through do not call list. FINALLY, I got a tech rep who told me I had had the free app, and I needed to purchase the upgraded app. it is $4.00 month more, so I got it. SUPRISE!!! without have to install the app or adjust settings, the old app will now have the new app features. This sounds like nothing more than a fraudulent price increase to me. if they charge a million customers $4.00 more per month, they make $48 million more a year in profit. i feel if I purchased a plan for 3 years, I should get the services for the agreed upon price for 3 years. if I want to cancel, they want $486 to cancel. read more

Avoid this location if you can! I went here on November 24 to trade in my old phone and take advantage of a Verizon promotion. Turns out they didn't actually process my trade-in correctly--I had to call Verizon myself to fix their mistake. When I went back on November 29 to pick up my new phone, they charged me approximately $135, but the salesperson wouldn't explain the breakdown of the charges. He claimed it was just sales tax, but when I checked my receipt later, I saw they added a $40 phone setup fee (even though I set up the phone myself at home) and a $10 balance for my old phone, which was already paid off over a year ago. On top of that, this isn't a corporate Verizon store--it's a Victra retailer. The phone prices here are higher than at actual Verizon stores, and the service was disappointing. If you're looking for honesty and better prices, I'd recommend going to a real Verizon store instead of this location. read more

This is not a corporate store. DO NOT COME HERE. Employees here were dishonest about fees, saying we owed the store hundreds of dollars ONLY when we picked up our phones right before we were about to leave. I have never once had a Verizon store saying we owed $350 PER phone ($700 total) just to pick up our phones. Awful at communicating. Did not tell us when our phones were delivered and then called us a week later to say we had to get them by the end of the day or they "would give them to someone else..." We were lied to about multiple things during the process. We thought they were just ordering the new iPhones for us, as we had communicated at the very beginning, and they ended up trying to charge us hundreds of dollars even though they did nothing to help us set up or anything like that. read more

DO NOT USE THE "VERIZON" STORE ON BARRANCA! This location is an independent contractor and is NOT a corporate Verizon store (the name is actually Victra). Normally, I would be happy about supporting that type of business instead of a corporation but only if they are upstanding and honest. These guys are not. I was trying to take advantage of Verizon's current promotion of getting a free iPhone when you transfer a line. They seemed very nice but ultimately were very deceptive by either not disclosing that they were charging me for something, by telling me I would need to purchase something that I didn't actually need, or by misquoting me on pricing. Ultimately, I got the 4 lines but it cost me a total of 6 hours of my time (4 1/2 hours in the store yesterday to transfer the lines because the initial process was botched, then an hour back in the store today to get them to refund everything that was overcharged or falsely charged, then another half hour at the real Verizon store finishing the transfer of one of the lines that wasn't corrected yesterday). They ended up having to refund me $590(!!!!) and they actually still owe me $100 but it would require two more visits (at least) to the store to get it resolved so I'm still debating whether or not it's worth my time for that. Since they are an independent contractor, the real Verizon store was unable to resolve this last issue. P.S. As I was wrapping up the transaction yesterday, another woman came into the store with a box of phones and accessories saying she wanted a full refund because of their dishonesty and was leaving Verizon forever. Having service with a different carrier for almost 18 years, I was looking to downgrade a business plan to a personal plan due to a business closure( and that carrier didn't have great coverage in the area where we purchased a new home) I was going back and forth between Carriers that had great coverage in our area, and the verdict was Verizon, and the folks at this location made the switch an easy transition. The promos were good, the pricing competitive, and the service was outstanding. Peyton and Andrew were unbelievable in smoothing out the process, and really we went above and beyond in making the transition pain free Shout out to everyone at the store who made a tough situation that much easier. If you are looking at Verizon, and in Douglas County, give them a shot at earning your business. You won't be disappointed !! read more

Super disappointed in the service by associate George. He was super rude to the older gentleman in front of me but didn't pay that mind until now. I requested an upgrade on my phone and was promised it was shipped several times - I came back into the store time and time again and it was still not delivered. Went to another store in town and turns out the guy never even put my order in. No idea why he decided to not process my order, but for whatever reason it cost me 2 weeks. read more

Okay I'm not one to leave a review but I was blown away by the customer service in this store. Getting a new phone is always a pain... I went to the store off promenade as waited in lines to be promptly turned away because they needed my mom with me who is the account owner?¿ I have authorization to edit the account and everything I need so I headed to here. Orlando was the only one working but juggled 3 customers including me promptly and was SO personable with all three of us. He made sure I was getting the best deal as well. My phone was OLD and way out of date.... But he did everything in his power to make sure everything transferred over. Even with three people not one of us waited on his to get back to us. So frustrated by my experience at this Verizon location. I went in to pick up an order that I had placed online and they informed me that it was out of stock. Ok, great, this happens. But what I did not like was how I was treated by the service reps. George and another young employee who did not introduce himself were extremely rude and did not put any effort into helping my with this issue. Not to mention they had their phones labeled incorrectly and almost sent me home with something entirely different from what I ordered. Not a good look, guys. I was blessed to work with my all-time favorite customer service provider yesterday. ANDREW has helped me update my phone and iPad, switch numbers into and out of our account, replace screen protectors, and set up my DISH appointment. But yesterday, he went above and beyond by spending thirty minutes or more working to get my mom's cochlear implant paired with the external microphone on her phone. When she's home she can use her captioned phone. On the road she needs to be able to hear conversations on her cell phone. Thanks, Andrew! And the 2 other men and 1 woman who also stepped in to help yesterday. All of you are incredible. I wouldn't go to any other Verizon provider! read more

Tech stuff is complicated. I start with that because I had a complicated situation, trying to port 5 phones from another carrier because one of our family had moved into a no-coverage area. Research suggested that Verizon would be a universal solution. This Verizon store promised that the transfer would work, or if not, we could opt out within 14 days. As it turned out, coverage at my rural home was practically zero...even texting wasn't predictable. At another family member's home the coverage was spotty, and calls dropped. It wasn't working so we came in to return our stuff and close out. (The one we started out to help had fantastic full bar coverage...of course!) In the end (on Black Friday no less, when everybody was exhausted) they called Verizon "central command", came up with a solution at no extra cost to us, and we're expecting that all five of us will have lovely full bar, 4G coverage in a few days. Problem solved, and I suspect it may have been at considerable expense to this local Castle Rock store. Integrity is never tested when things are easy, only when problems arise. I walked into the store looking for some help after my 3 week old iPhone 6s wouldn't turn out for a few hours while I was out running errands. I had tried for about an hour charging it and trying the other ports in my car. No Luck. I was using the standard Verison car charger where the adapter, cord, and plug are all one continuous piece. After an hour, hour and a half of messing around with that and go over work paperwork sitting in a parking lot, I decided to buy another charger. I bought an expensive cord -already had the adapter from my old phone chargers. That STILL didn't work! $25 wasted! Next I desperately went to Auto Zone looking for answers to a possible blown fuse causing a break in power to the accessory port. After about 45 minutes of reading my owner's manual, checking the fuses, having a sales associate check the power of the ports, and waiting, AGAIN, it STILL DID NOTHING! I should also mention that I had my old iPhone 4s in the car and was trying to charge that phone too periodically to rule out any reason that it was the actual phone. However, neither phone charged, in either port, with either chargers. So here's my issue: I walked into Verizon and asked a late 30's/early 40's-something woman with glasses and brown hair tied up in a bun if I may borrow a charger. Completely uninterested and totally aloof to my needs as a customer and her as an employee in which she is supposed to HELP a Verizon customer with an issue, especially an issue with a brand new iPhone! "Sorry, we don't have phone chargers." That was it. All she said. I waited a moment to let her follow her comment up with an alternative solution, but she said and did nothing more. "I have the cord if you could just manage find the plug-part.." I said, hopeful, after glancing at her phone on the counter and knowing she must be charging it throughout the day with something. ... NOPE! Anyways, while I was frantically thinking of answers to the sans-charger scenario & enduring her unsettling company of demeaning and too-important-for-this looks, she did a "soft-reset" and and my phone was on! Just like that! Of course when I asked her about it and told her that I had been doing a hard-reset and hitting all combinations of buttons EXCEPT that one, she just wanted to be smug and disregard my efforts as if I was an idiot, and shoot down my ideas I had whilst trying to solve my little "Dead phone fiasco." Thanks for figuring it out lady. But seriously, you are rude and very unpleasant. I will never come back to this location again! read more

We won't be back. We'll go to the other locations or only call Verizon - which is the preferred method whenever possible. They are very friendly at this location, which I guess may be a result of earlier reviews. So, they corrected that. But there are deeper issues that may or may not be common with Verizon stores. First, stop with the glass, or whatever the current item is, that I assume you get a commission for selling. I didn't want to buy the protective glass, and the attitude of the sales guy changed for the worse. I went home and looked it up and person after person online noted how the glass was overpriced and didn't help some anyway. Our visit didn't go well, and planned things we went into the store to make happen didn't. We had to call Verizon customer service after our visit to the store, and they gave us a much better deal and revealed plan elements to us that the store did not. Jamer provided us with impeccable service. We came in to switch to Verizon. He helped us pick a plan without pressure or trying to upsell us and when we had trouble unlocking my phone from our previous carrier did everything he could to avoid having us pay off the phone prematurely. We figured it out and he facilitated all the details. All in all, we were there about two and a half hours and he was friendly, professional and personable the entire time. Absolutely terrible customer service. We went in to get a new iPhone and was told they had to order it, it would be three days. No problem. Over a week later still no phone call, we follow up and "Oh, yup it's here...sorry, been there for a week". Fast forward.....I've tried to go in 2 different times to get it activated and still cannot get it done. Not b/c of a problem with the account or a giant asteroid hurdling to earth but b/c I don't have the patience to watch 3 out of 4 employees ignore everyone in the store while they drool over a couple of ladies upgrading their phones or being told that I have to wait an hour b/c "I'm the only one here," Don't get me wrong, I understand my time is not more important than my neighbors but seriously this place doesn't have business figured out. Oh, and the icing on the cake... Because I ordered a phone through them they have a lock on my Verizon account so I can't go get a phone somewhere else now because I have to speak with somebody at the store (in person)to unlock the account... ugh!!!! read more

I cannot explain how frustrated I am with this store. Day #1 Went in to get a new phone for my mom. Since she didn't know her PIN number we had to reset it. Easy right? Well their internal system wouldn't recognize her new PIN so we would have to come back the next day. They took my mom's old phone, along with her new one and locked it in their safe. Day #2 - Go to the store and wait for 60 minutes for a representative because they're short staffed only to be told the person responsible for opening the safe didn't come in that day. "But he'll be here tomorrow" I'm told. Day #3 - Go to the store, wait for a rep only to be told that their safe still isn't open. Day #4 - I call the store to get a status and I'm told the safe still isn't open. When I ask when it will be I get a noncommittal response of "maybe tomorrow". In the meantime we can't get her old phone back to go to a different Verizon store. The customer service is atrocious. STAY AWAY FRIM THIS STORE!! read more

I went in to the store today to have my contacts transferred from my old phone to my new phone that I had purchased through them. They were going to charge me $20 to this even though the old phone and new phone were theirs. Good thing my contract is expired. I'm sure AT&T will have no problems getting me into a new contract and not charging me to transfer contacts. Horrible customer service! read more

They can't return products, they know nothing about plans and every time I go there I get send me back to a "corporate" store....didn't know there was a difference. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service! They DO NOT care about trying to help find the right fit for an individual, they only care about selling the most expensive devices they have. Trying to deal with the associate who had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me she can't be reached but then proceeded to dial her number on his personal phone and handed the phone to me while it was ringing. She was extremely rude and the entire situation was unbelievably unprofessional. They ARE NOT a Verizon store, and dealing with them is a nightmare! They way overcharge, the (real) Verizon store I went to after leaving this horrendous place was dumbfounded by the lack of knowledge and overcharging. It took the real Verizon store over an hour and multiple phone calls between corporate and GoWireless to fix everything they messed up! read more

I suspect commission based pay as I was purchasing an iPhone and both of the salesmen bashed it and praised the droid the whole time.
