Walmart usually gets a bad wrap but this one is one of the best I have shopped at. It is clean, well organized and ofcourse the prices are low. Surprisingly, I have never had a bad experience with service at this location. In fact, it is the only one I have been to were an employee went out of thier way to approach me and ask if I needed help with anything. Yes..I am still talking about Walmart. This location has been so consistantly decent that it has become my family's main grocery shopping store. It also conveniently has a Subway restaurant, nail salon, photo center, a key copy and purified water refill machiene. read more

This is a very poorly managed store!!! I had 33yrs. in the grocery industry, retail and management, so I know what I am talking about. All of the upper managers (?) go home at 5pm. and leave a skeleton crew to run the store at peak hours. In particular, a wannabe manager named Jesus, has NO clue on how to manage people with respect and experience. If I was in charge, he would be unemployed in 5 minutes. Excellent management with leadership starts with the store director and flows downward, but I guess if you don't have it at the top you can't really fault the chain of command. So sad. I recently had an unfortunate experience with the auto department in this Walmart. I was in need of a battery for my Audi Q3 2020. I called the department and was told that yes, they have a battery and that they could also install it, no charge for installation. I return to the store the next day for a battery and met with the same gentleman that helped me on the phone the previous day. I asked if they still had the battery and could they install it. Once again I was told , "Yes." I reiterated the price with installation and was told $179.00 plus tax, total. The desk man told me to bring my car to Bay 1, and I would be taken care of by the mechanics. I followed the directions. At bay 1, a young man took all my information on a tablet, and told me to wait inside, and I would be contacted when the job was done. I asked how long, and he said about 45 minutes. I was notified about that time that my job was finished. I went to the service desk to pay, and I asked a different gentleman If my car was ready. I also added, "how did the installation of the battery go?" He said, "Battery? You had an oil change." I said, "No, I was to have a new battery installed." Well, the following " discussion" that took place is too long to detail, but suffice it to say, it became a 20+ minute back and forth with the service manager and the mechanics (5 of them) trying to defend themselves and telling me it was an honest mistake! They did say I would not be charged for oil change. I felt disrespected by the manager when she dismissed me and was done with the " argument." I also detected a nasty sarcasm in her, " Have a nice day!" As I left the store to get my car, I went through the Bay Area where all the mechanics were huddled. A young man said in a loud voice, "Have a nice day!" He said it twice as I walked through. I turned and said, "Why do you have to be so belligerent?" I walked to my car. read more

Came to check out the Xmas clearance items. Finally at 75% off. Picked over but still lots of interesting items. Picked up some Marvel ornaments for $2 and Christmas cards for $3 a box. Got a unicorn light up and sound stocking for $4. I'm making an ugly Christmas sweater for next year so I was happy to find light up earrings and necklaces on clearance. On the way to checkout I saw Robert Irvine energy bars so I grabbed those as well. Productive trip. Don't forget that now they don't have plastic bags so either bring your own bags or or purchase reusable ones from the store. read more

Walmart Castle Rock, Colorado service is continuing to decline! Colorado forced store to not provide bags. Self checkouts are convenient but when you have a large quantity of goods it's better to go to an assisted check out line. We were informed the other day that the assisted lines will no longer bag your groceries for you, you have to do it yourself. Today we were told that if we wanted a cart we would have to retrieve one from the parking lot yourself by the greeter at the door, really? What's next! read more

Then loss prevention black guy wearing a pink hoodie and the blonde karen wearing a black and white sweater started to film us and were racial profiling us!! I wish people would where the carts go! Putting them by the concrete post is not the correct place. There are days that I can barely walk, but I still put my cart up. And employees see that - remember you I have learned. If they are on duty another time, they will remember you, Today, the store was pretty cluttered, I guess trying to get rid of the Christmas decorations and of course make room for Valentine's Day (another card I need to buy and I have not decided which one is more commercialized - Christmas or Valentine's Day's). This review is for the Walmart grocery pick-up, which was a disaster. My wife ordered groceries on a day when we were very busy, and didn't have time to shop. I went to pick them up, after letting them know I was on the way. I then sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes before they finally brought them out. I could have shopped in that amount of time. Several items were poorly substituted, so I didn't accept those items, but then had to call the store and sit on hold for a very long time to get it resolved -- still waiting to see if that works out (our money back). The grocery pick-up manager was rude, and put us on hold when we asked for our money back. We eventually ended the call, because he never came back, and we called the front desk. That manager was helpful, but also had trouble because the grocery pick-up manager left. It appears he put us on hold and just left. Walmart doesn't care if they lose us. They don't care if they lose you either, but it's best that we deal with them as little as possible. My experience with Walmart is that they treat their customers as bad as they treat their employees. This was not a time saver. It costs us more time. read more

The store is lacking in leadership. Good employees are run off by immature, game playing managers that have 0 experience in dealing with employees let alone customers. Until they tackle their incompetent leaders they will never be able to retain good employees. My recent experience was horrific and the manager just could not begin to offer a solution she just doesn't care. I witnessed not one but several employees just walk off the job. Literally some of the rudest employees I ever met. I was in an aisle where they were restocking and was told it was closed and to leave. This never happened to me before and I was called one of those customers because I thought she was kidding at first. I left with nothing and got what I needed at Target where they were much friendlier. Management needs to do something about the culture there and be nicer to customers. read more

I come to this Walmart if I really need to get some items that are needed. All I can say the number one and biggest issue is the horrible customer service. A small handful of cashiers are friendly and wonderful. Lately, however, it seems like I've come across some bad apples. To the owner of this Walmart, I would really appreciate if one certain employee would understand what personal space is. Last time I was here, an employee (don't remember her name) had the nerve to look inside of my purse while I was only trying to put my wallet back in and taking my car keys out. Went in for one basic everyday household item: a handheld spray bottle. Did not know where to find it. Asked three different teenage associates who sent me on a wild goose chase all over the store to several different departments.... on my own. Some were nicer than others. The first teenager wished me "good luck" on my journey of over an hour. The second two looked at me like my head was falling off of my neck, made their best guess, admitted they didn't know, made no effort to find out, and simply pointed to another part of the store (where there were no adults in sight to actually run the joint). Finally got to the cashier and at long last, the person who is not allowed to roam the store and help customers knew where they kept the product I sought. Finished purchasing things I didn't come in for, then went to the TRAVEL SIZE SHAMPOO section, where the stupid godforsaken handheld spray bottles are hidden. I know it's just Walmart, it's the Denny's of retail. But the service sucks here, even for a place like Walmart. And If you think I'm a retail snob think again. Check out my five star review of the Parker Walmart if you don't believe me. Of course the Parker Walmart is run by adults, not 12 year olds so go figure. read more

And this one guy Cody deserves a raise he was in auto but still helped me and did it with pride. Was Mart is one of my least favorite stores overall so take this review with a grain of salt. If you're a fan of Wal Mart you likely won't find much to complain about here. My main issue is with the slow restocking on a couple of items that this location is always out of. Super frustrating as it is my local store. The Parker store is often busier (the parking certainly is worse) but at least they have the items I purchase most frequently. The staff here in Castle Rock seems less friendly than Parker as well. They often seem irritated or condescending when being asked to check stock on an item. Cleanliness and parking are a little better than most locations, and lines move fairly quickly and for those reasons they're getting two stars. read more

I give them three, mainly cause I like the savings catcher. But most of the staff I interact with are rude. They don't even pretend to want to help, they give a look and usually "help" with very minimal talk. Once I went to the photo section to pick up some pictures. The woman behind the counter was chatting with a co worker, not about work. She didn't make eye contact with me until they were done talking. Then didn't even seem to know her way around the photo section. She kept asking me what I ordered and my last name, more than once. read more

The 1-Star is for their Service Center in the back...... We drove up to the Service Center & my Hub approached an older gentleman about our tire problem and possibly switching out our headlamp, because apparently Mazda doesn't want people to maintain their own cars. :) The guy was just standing there not looking very busy compared to everyone else, but definitely grumpy & hardly listened to my Husband when talking to him, then he cut him off & said "Well, let me ask someone about that", walked away and PROCEEDED TO TALK TO ANOTHER NEW CUSTOMER who drove up after us and never looked at or returned with an answer even though we were still parked right there!! LOL SHEESH! I guess they don't like folks giving them work on a Sunday? Yeah, don't think we'll ever consider Walmart for car-stuff again...we should've known better. read more

3 stars because nothing seemed especially bad or wrong. They had plenty of cleaning wipes for the carts. They were fairly busy, but they were moving the checkout lines quickly and had plenty of them open (which is way better than most Walmarts). I found what I needed, although it took a little looking. The only Walmart in the area and they won't honor my money transfer because it doesn't show my FULL middle name on the incoming receipt as it does on my driver's license. Because the sending party only put my middle initial I cannot get gas or grocery money sent to me, instead i am told to drive 40 miles away to a store with less strict policies. read more

Horrible customer service. A section of employees are very rude and lack any professionalism. I am pointing out the sporting goods department as one section for a piss poor customer experience. The employees talk down to their customers and have no regard for their dignity. Most of the mangers look tired and uncaring about any issue that is brought to their attention. This review is for their tire/oil center. Sometime in November I got stuck purchasing all four tires from them. My regular tire store was closed (Sunday) and there was a major snow storm coming the next day, so I decided to give Walmart a go. All four tires were installed fast and without any problems. HOWEVER, a month later I got a flat tire and since the tires were under warranty took the car back to Walmart. I was told the tires that they installed on my car a month earlier were the incorrect size and that they would be replacing all four tires with the right size ones. Which they did. My car developed a "wobble" right after the "correct" size tire installation, so I ended up right back at Walmart. This time the wait was long and after the technicians were through I was told the problem was the balance in my front tires. Apparently the previous tire tech didn't balance them properly... Now lets recap. They can't put the right size tires on my car and they can't balance them properly, what exactly is that they do over there?! AND my car still wobbles!!! I love this Walmart as they have great sales and great selections. The associates have always been very helpful and friendly. They do have trouble keeping the shelves stocked due to the fact they are the only Walmart in close proximity to the smaller cities or towns south and north of Castle Rock. This can be frustrating at times when an item I want is not available, but I understand it is not the fault of the store since so many people shop this particular store. I know, however, that I can go online and have the item sent to the store for pickup. read more

Minor Racism towards to MINORITY. Have you ever met a person who decide to treat a person by lecturing, no greetings, correcting and refuse to deliver the (100% satisfaction guara nteed) service because you have a different ethnicity?  I am a Korean American. I went to walmart having understanding of my return might be not possible because I didn't keep the receipt ( Shampoo was 90% full) so they might give me a store credit or no return at all which was understandable for me. Unfortunately, I read a news saying Asian American racism increased 20 to 30% because of Corona Virus but didn't bothered by it because I live in a great community but not today. When I went to a customer service desk first thing started  I was corrected by social distancing even though I was doing it so I went even further , no greetings, but she greeted a lady behind me( Caucasian) and correcting me with walmart policy. She assumed my purchase was passed 90days because my CC didn't recognized it. Well ok to me but her tone of voice and attitude wasn't friendly and told me she worked there 13 years policy hasn't changed which i never had any problem with returning any item. She start to correcting me saying it has been same policy all the time. I felt like I am a uneducated Asian who is trying to take an advantage with waltmart itme ! A bottle of shampoo , not like a huge TV i bought before. If she said nicely and treated me with decent respect I would not be writing this now. She told me to bring a right card to identify the purchase and I left. I was immediately very shaky and humiliated! I was blacked out with all my shopping list and couldn't even think straight. I hesitated but I talked to the assistant manager and she was GREAT! She listened and offered me to do return and I said refund isn't the big issue. It is about the feeling I just received from the customer service lady. I felt like I was the victim of minor RACISM!. Maybe I am too radical about this but couldn't help myself feeling so hurt and humiliated. Her name is ROSIE at the customer service. Assistant Manager took me to customer service and tell the other manager not ROSIE. When we got there she immediately yelling saying " it was 90 days passed." The other Manager said: " We are not sure about that" ROSIE got offended immediately yelling from the desk behind " Do Not Scold me in front of people" immediately correct the assistant manager who took me to there. I felt frighten by her tone of voice and attitude I NEVER experienced like this at walmart before. Customer service ROSIE had an attitude of she was the top of the world and nobody can correct her. Why did she do over a shampoo bottle? My head was spinning and felt that I was the ASIAN who related to COVID19. She might not liking me in the beginning so asked me to distance from her and didn't want to provide service. A person like Rosie will trigger the fear of shopping as a minority as well as BLAME, DISCRIMINATION and RACISM. But a person like other 2 managers will reverse what Rosie shown to me today. BESIDES this happening I 've shopping there years and everybody who works there are all fantastic! read more
