I signed up for 5G Home Internet and canceled within 2 weeks. After cancellation and receiving my final bill, I could no longer access my account online or through their app. It takes finagling and going through other departments to actually speak with someone when you do not have your mobile phone and account number assignment for the home internet, which you can no longer access since you can no longer login. I am being charged over $400 for one of the "FREE" offerings at sign up and after finally reaching them the first time they told me to call them back after a specified number of days to get a credit applied. I was able to get through after again jumping through hoops to get through the automated phone system and again asked to call back after a specified number of days. I spent 45 minutes, talking to 3 different departments, and still have not been able to be transferred to the correct department. It boggles my mind that employees actually make these decision on processes and systems for their company, go through development, testing and implementation. These people are actually getting paid to make mistakes and apparently do nothing to resolve or make their servicing better. Unbelievable. The only bright side to my visit today was working with Elliott. After working with another employee, didn't get his name, and I wouldn't name him anyway. Anyway, Elliot worked about 10 minutes and had the problem fixed with ease. Unfortunately, I had already spent an hour. Getting no help whatsoever. After 15 years of loyalty to Verizon, I am utterly disgusted by the customer service, both in store and over the phone. I spent nearly 3 hours on the phone troubleshooting what should be a straightforward issue with a telerep only to be told that my issue could better be resolved in person. When at the store, the customer service personnel said the only way to get my issue resolved was over the phone - which is a black hole because getting a live agent is nearly impossible and the automated system simply disconnects you. Each person I have interacted with within the VZ organization has been rude and dismissive and often blatantly unwilling to help resolve my issue. I would sincerely consider any other option because regardless of being a new or existing customer, the personnel is wired to take your money without providing any sort of service. read more

Today I went into the store to ask for help with my phone that is not getting text messages and FaceTime calls, after maybe 2mins of sending himself text messages back on forth on my phone and going into setting (mind you I did all of that myself at home) he says I don't know what's wrong with your phone there's nothing I can do! I asked well can you ask a coworker maybe they know another option or something to do. He tells me his been there the longest so they wouldn't know, when I said well I'm in the store I came all the way but here for help is there really nothing we can do? He says to me you wouldn't go to Walmart and ask them for help with your computer, I replied of course not they are not dell, your the Verizon store! He got loud so I left the store phone still not working, I've now called into the help desk, but the point is that he didn't even try or at less make it look like he was trying and the store was not busy what would it have hurt to ask another employee for their assistance! read more

Verizon as a whole has failed starting from the top down. They claim to have the best service I know personally that isn't true. Little no signal I've reported it several times only to be lied to by reps that simply don't want to do the job. So I left Verizon after 7.5 years. I had recently purchased the Apple Watch from them and had a balance of 269.38 I was paying it off in payments on Sunday the day after I made said payment they took the balance of 69.38 from my checking account without my consent. I filed a complaint with the BBB soon after a rep from the corporate office emails me asking for my number to call me. He claims he calls but they don't call you. It's a stall tactic to get you to call them. After the conversation with this clown in the corporate offices he told me they have a clause in the TOS to keep your bank info on file to take the balance. Now he tried to lie by saying I don't have an account with verizon but I can log on on my lap top. Don't trust them folks!!! They will rip you off read more

Verizon as a phone service has always been excellent. Of course NO BUSINESS is ever perfect all the time ... but been with them for over 20 years, we travel all over and the service has mostly been excellent. However, Verizon's new self-setup home 5G Internet is -- as we can only determine -- a scam. We were aggressively urged to try it, got it home and within minutes realized there was no service in our home (which we previously determined) but the salesman said the system was often outdated and we were in network. We weren't. No worries, right? We went back to the store within the hour but were told -- "ohhh, we can't take the box back, you'll have to call and order a box to be sent to you and you mail it to another location." Sigh Okay. So ... now it is five weeks later, after three more trips to the Verizon store, over six independent calls to the call center, great frustrations and double- triple checking that we're not being billed for this (yet), Verizon finally send a small envelope to send back a "tablet." What ... the... heck?? It is clear that they do not WANT the box back, are forcing long-term customers to make multiple trips, calls, check-ins, online searches for help that is never, never, never coming. My last trip back to the store -- and there is no sense in getting angry with the staff in stores as they are just the front line, have been told they can't "accept" the box and have also shared that this is an ongoing with multiple angry customers ... we can only conclude that this is a scam. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS 5G HOME SETUP INTERNET ... it will haunt you, wreck your days, cost gas, time and money and worst of all ... make you upset with a company you once previously really believed in and like. read more

I should have listened to the other reviews. I am so upset I gave them any commission off my sale. I came to this store for a new iPhone. After dropping over 1K for a phone, they were almost NO help in transferring my data and phone number to the new device. Staff was exceedingly dismissive, disinterested, and inattentive. Left the store after 2 hours with a brand new phone that DOESN'T WORK. Going to a different store tomorrow, I suggest you do too. What is wrong with the employees at this location? From the second we walked in, there were already 2 other people waiting and it took at least 3 employees walking past all of us until they quickly decided amongst themselves who would assist the new customers. Literally every single employee we spoke to, was speaking to us like they dreaded even having to pull up our account. After being told to come back next month to preorder my new iPhone due to having a $40 balance on my current device and paying it now would be a "waste of $40" instead of allowing my account credit to pay for it and waiting longer to preorder. Sounded like he just didn't want to help, whatever. My boyfriend grabbed two accessories and asked an associate if he could assist with putting one of the accessories on if purchased and he gave us the most scrambled excuse of a response. First he said "Uhh, no if you don't have an account with us, I can't" and my boyfriend told him that he had an account but I didn't and then the associate stated "I'd have to pull up your account, and it doesn't just work like that with Verizon products, since she doesn't have an account with us". My boyfriend and I still confused on what that has to do with anything quickly got the gist that it was just another associate trying to put us off. We ended up just putting the items back on the shelf and walking out. Just like the about 5 other people that had walked in and out within the span of 10 minutes during the duration of our visit. I don't know why Verizon allows this sort of customer behavior, and given by the look of previous reviews, they are well aware of this locations tendency to weaponize incompetence in order to do as little work as possible. read more

It should be simple, considering that this a tech based company but they can not get their junk together. Figure it out, simplify your items, your product arrangement or simply hire ppl that operate with a brain. All these are simple fixes with simple answers. Create energy with the morons you currently employ and hire the right people for the job and while you're at it, fix your automated "services" because they don't do a single thing to assist anyone. I've been a Verizon wireless customer for over 10 years. I hadn't been a wireless store since the pandemic began. This location was super amazing with safety and precautions to protect the customers. Lots of social distancing and acrylic barriers to ensure maximum safety. I needed more data for my devices and the sales associate provided me great information and options. Their service doesn't even warrant 1 star in my opinion. Phone service doesn't work ALL day. Called them and was put on hold for 1 hour between people asking STUPDID QUESTIONS like "What's your name again?", "are the numbers you try to call related?", etc... Finally they admitted that their server tower is down. Then they tried to get me to re-set my phone, power it off, and install software update. None of these things can bring their tower backup! Absolute worst service. I walk in wanting to switch my plan from AT&T to Verizon. The guy just acts annoyed from the start. He doesn't explain anything to me and he certainly doesn't act like he enjoys his job. I was prepared for this switch, all info ready to go.... but this guy couldn't find my address on his tablet. He just kind of ‍ and ‍telling me there is nothing he can do without it finding my address. So I give him my fathers address... what do you know it doesn't find that one either. Sir, maybe it is your tablet....? Wow you'd think I insulted his manhood by the way he said, "It works just fine." Well I've never had this issue anywhere else and even tried the process online with Verizon and no address issue there. Kind of dumb that I was turned away over an error obviously on there part. AT&T should be ashamed of using Diversified Consultants, Inc. (a company not listed) to collect debts. This review is directed only at AT&T Corporate, not at any store or other affiliate. AT&T does not list a place where the complaint can be directed. This could happen to you, so read it! Due to a divorce and unemployment (at 73 years of age), I was temporarily unable to pay my phone bill. When I was able to pay the bill, I called Diversified to begin repayment. They "accidentally" charged the entire amount to my bank account, instead of the half payment (with the other to be forthcoming next month), as Diversified had already agreed to do.. Diversified, when I contacted them said they reversed the "accidental" payment, but REFUSED to send me a confirmation of the overpayment in email or writing! They said it would be on my next month's bank statement but that I had to pay them the half payment immediately without confirmation of the reversal of their overpayment. The Diversified manager was rude, hostile, not helpful, lied to me, did not return my phone call and was abusive. I could not pay my bill without the confirmation. I contacted the BBB in Diversified's NE Florida and SE Atlantic area, filed a complaint, and have received an apology in writing from Diversifed, via the BBB. I was more than willing to promptly pay AT&T what I owed them, but Diversifed made that impossible by refusing to send written confirmation of the overpayment they caused. SHAME ON ATT FOR USING THE DEBT COLLECTION AGENT, DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS, INCM. WHICH USES UNETHICAL, ILLEGAL, AND ABUSIVE TACTICS AGAINST A CUSTOMER WHO WAS ONLY TRYING TO PAY AT&T AT THE FIRST POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY. read more

Business lets people buy phones with others' identities. And then Verizon corporate gives you the run around while you try to get the identity theft resolved. Verizon does not care if your identity is stolen, keeps billing you for a phone you don't own. Repeatedly routed to idiots who say our info doesn't match the person who bought the phone so they can't help us - we just said it was identity theft. Sent them the police report several times, and they still can't seem to associate the police report to the ID theft and sent us yet another bill. Do not do business with Verizon. Get an attorney to help you if someone else fraudulently buys from them in your name. The company will not help you. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Will tell you anything to get your business, then screw you over with fees. My wife was told by their employee that her iPhone 7 would transfer from ATT to Verizon, so naturally I believed them since they are the professionals. Her iPhone ended up not transferring and they basically told me it was my fault. Their manager Perla hates her life there because she's incapable of smiling.She ended up offering me a credit but then tried charging me Upgrade Fees even though the phone we were trading in was the exact same phone we wanted. When I questioned her on it, she tucked her tail between her legs and ran to her back office. Fantastic customer service experience. She wouldn't take ownership of her workers mistake and fix the situation. She even agreed with me that if she were in my shoes, she'd feel the same way. Yet, she's so focused on creating a profitable store that she fails to create a great customer experience, therefore, she's an idiot. I'd be extremely embarassed if she was my store manager as she scares people away with her incredibly terrible approach in treating customers. If she was truly focused on doing what was right for Verizon and driving profitability, she would've done a cost-benefit analysis and realized that annually I would've spent $2,200 on my phone/services. Instead, she lost my business completely over $30. I hope her GM/DM sees this post and questions her on the lifetime earning potential she just lost from this experience. Guess someone forgot how to do math....GO ELSEWHERE. Their corporate store on Northwest Hwy is FAR superior. Guess there's a reason why their lot is completely empty every time I've been there.
