Urgh! This store is always slammed and for any service that you need expect a huge wait. With that being said, once I was able to speak with a staff member they were usually helpful and polite but the wait time was always too long. I suppose if you intend to spend the day in the mall it would be no big deal but if your phone is out of service or there is a problem I would recommend another location for perhaps a quicker fix. Altogether, I did not like Verizon as a company and was a happy clam the day I dropped them. read more

I've been here 5 times in the last 12 months, I give them 4 stars because they have showed massive improvement. Given the circumstances, the customer service yesterday was on point. The store was packed and hectic. Their job is not easy, but they were processing customers like a well oiled machine. I'm sure we can all agree that for the most part a trip to Verizon has got to be the worst part of your day. The games they play, the hidden fees, the regular fees, the additional charges, the other fees, the bait and switches, the annoying urgency. The gentleman that helped me is a straight shooter with upper management written all over him, I just hope they continue to give him the tools and resources that he needs to keep his customers happy. I have been a verizon customer for years, however in my recent move to Denver, CO I racked up an outrageous phone bill, and when I called them to get it fixed- because the total bill was over $700 and yet an unlimited plan was advertised as $99. Needless to say I was not happy, and after being on the phone and transfered for hours- I finally got a manager named Kristen- she proceeded to be rude and unhelpful only crediting some of the minutes back not the whole unlimited amount. Due to the service I received from her on the phone I have decided to cancel my verizon plan and switch to either AT&T or T-Mobile, checking out plans this week, any how be aware of the "hidden costs" with verizon's plans! read more

I have had Verizon Wireless for 6 years. I like their services when I do not have to go to the store! I was recently checking out new phones and could not decide. I went to this location and they ignored me like I was leporsy victim. There were sales guys up front at the door for ever and one guy stood right behind me playing music off of his phone. What the CRAP???? Sure I could have approached one of these guys, but it seemed like no one was interested in working at this location. I have had better service at other locations like the one off of Colorado and I-25 and the Park Meadows location. read more

Very disappointed!!! Came to the store to have a new phone setup and get things for the phone. There are 5 employees just standing around in a empty store watching the football game on their person cell phones and company tablets. Were the only customers in the store and one of the agent just handed us a piece of paper to setup the phone instead of assisting us. This is the third time I came into this store and couldn't get decent customers. I'm not sure if Verizon knows about the lack of customer service that's being offered here but I pay way too much money to have this kind of customer service at Verizon. I should preface this by saying that I am a LOYAL Verizon customer for the past 10 years and that the problems that I have experienced with them has been limited. Call quality is pretty good and the 4G is fast. My partner and I have some 4G tablets and 2 phones on the contract. The phones in the past were purchased here and the tablets were purchased here. The phones were due for the 2 year upgrade and of course I wanted to go here for my needs. I haven't had any issues with this store until now. I called the store to make sure that the phones that I wanted were in stock. I told the sales person that I needed them plugged in and charged as one of them was a gift to my partner and I wanted him to be able to use it right away after the service was switched over. I asked how much these would run me and the sales guy told me that they were $199 each. I told him that would be fine, but that I could get these phones from Amazon or Walmart for $50 less. The sales guy then told me that "You should go buy them at Amazon then," and hung up on me. You know what - I did. I will never go back to that store again. Thanks for the poor customer service. Epilogue - I called the 800 number for customer service and I did get a small credit on the bill for the hassle and waived activation fees. Like I said - No issues with Verizon themselves - Just the store. ***UPDATE*** 10/8/12 Verizon charged upgrade fees and activation fees on both phones and an activation fee on a new tablet. Sheesh! So much for 800# customer service taking care of it. Blah! Maybe I should move to another carrier. read more

I spent the several hours at Verizon Wireless at the Cherry Creek mall to replace my Iphone. The experience was not pleasant. The associate was more concerned with up selling me with there new devices than making sure Iphone was set up properly and once he took the my payment, he rush me out the door and directed me to go to the Apple store to get to complete the set up on my new Iphone. My husband and visited the Verizon Store in the Cherry Creek Mall , only after getting Zero help at Apple ( where I have personally bought a dozen plus products)regarding the purchase of a New IPhone XS Max. That is were we met Anna Kelly! She was and is amazing, and I didn't have to wait!! Her product Knowledge was excellent, and her customer service was over-arching! Each time I try to work with Verizon customer support on the phone, I am left with even more questions. Shockingly poor customer service. Not even a haphazard attempt from either employee.. was blatantly ignored initially, then one employee (who was on the telephone) gave a sort of half nod in my direction while continuing his conversation. Moments later, still on his call, he covers the phone and asks the other employee if he 'will take care of this lady'. It only continued downhill. I eventually left, bewildered, after the one guy is still on the phone with his back towards me, and the other resorted to just pretending I wasn't even there, pulled their gate down and stood there awkwardly like some kind of security or bouncer or something. Very bizarre. Needless to say I walked away no closer to resolution than when I entered. read more

When I have a question he gives the long and short answer just to be sure I understand. He even goes so far as to write out all the options so I can review them at home. I needed an iPhone upgrade, & dreaded the process. So I went to the Verizon store in Cherry Creek Mall & met with Anna K. She was fantastic from start to finish! I told her to explain everything to me and to talk slowly like I was a fifth grader; and she did that perfectly! She was so knowledgeable, so professional, she knew what I needed and made the whole experience pain free. I wish more people were as patient and understanding as she was. I scheduled half an hour at the store, they would not activate my new iPhone at the store..."all you have to do is turn your new phone on, that's it...it's's activated". 3 hours later my phone isn't activated, tried to use the number they gave me, automated service said that they were unable to activate my phone at this time and "transferred" me to assistant. Waited on hold for an hour...finally hung up. This is ridiculous. read more

Not bad for a Verizon store, didn't get anything because they didn't have anything I wanted. But they did have some car mounts for the droid! If you ever have problems with your bill call customer service they usually drop off a good amount of your bill. The most untrained and incompetent staff I've encountered in all the VZ stores I've been to. Two examples (the last one very recent and is what prompted me to write this review): 1. The phone died (as in dead-dead) and they ordered us a warranty replacement and provided a loaner, which we were supposed to return to VZ once we receive the warranty replacement. They also picked up the dead phone to be "utilized". Everything was good until we got a replacement phone and, on a hunch, decided to call VZ to verify the next steps. This is where the whole thing turned into a huge mess - VZ explained to us that since the store sent them the old dead phone, which was supposedly being "utilized", their system would get really confused when we send them the loaner. The store, when confronted, admitted they made a mistake, but didn't know what to do next and referred us back to VZ. Long story short, we had to wait about a week until resolving everything and VZ had to be called on multiple occasions to make sure no confusion happened. 2. Yesterday, my wife brought them a phone which was freezing on a start up. Their "technician" identified the issue as "defective phone that can not be fixed in the store" and, again, ordered a warranty replacement. Luckily, they didn't grab the old one as they were "out of loaners". When my wife asked the tech to try to remove and replace the battery to reset the phone, the "highly trained technician" informed us that the battery was not removable. To say that I was surprised was quite an understatement as I personally installed the battery in that phone when we got it new. Needless to say, removing and replacement batter, which, of course, was very much removable, fixed the problem. When I called back to the store and confronted the manager, I was told that most likely the technician confused LG G3 and G2 and thus concluded that the battery is not removable. Do yourself a favor - pick a different store, there are plenty of them around. Avoid this untrained excuse of a retail store if possible - you'll save yourself a lot of time. read more

So after being a happy T-Mobile customer for 13 years, I made the switch to Verizon. It was a tough breakup after many good years together, but my future with T-Mobile doesn't look as promising as it used to. So I went to the Verizon store, and I got placed with Bill, a fabulous customer service rep. I explained to him my plight, and he understood my needs. Basically, I knew nothing about droids and smartphones. Bill took the time to make sure I got the right product for my needs. He was helpful and funny, and never made me feel embarrassed for whatever stupid questions I asked. He made sure my corporate discount was applied and helped me get my billing set up. I had to go back to the store today, and Bill was there again. He remembered me and helped me with setting up my voicemail, which was a comedy of errors as my face kept hitting the screen as I tried to record my greeting! I am glad to know that I can go to this store and get good service. I hope I will be pleased with my new phone service in the long run. So far, so good! read more

My daughter purchase an iPhone Galaxy A70 from Amazon as a gift. I took it to a Verizon store and was told that it could not be activated since it was not in their system. It was an exact same phone she purchased for my grandson and was activated in Phoenix with no problem, this was irritating for me when that Verizon associate told me that and tried to sell me an A50 downgrade from what I had. My daughter suggested that I take it to another store and see what they say before returning it to Amazon. I was not a happy camper but I did take her advise so I went to the Verizon store in the Cherry Creek mall in Denver CO expecting the same treatment. There I me Krystal, she was very cordial. Her customer skills, knowledge and was pleasantly surprised her willingness to help getting my problem resolved is second to none. She gave me some great advise and she took the extra steps to consult with her peers to get a solution and came a with a fix for me. The phone was activated finally to my delight. Verizon should be very proud to have Krystal on the staff. To be honest with Verizon, you was about to loose a valued customer to another carrier but I ended with a surprisingly great experience at this store and would not hesitate to recommend that store and Krystal in the future. read more

This review is regarding the iPhone 6 launch on September 19th. Let me preface this with something that occurred a week prior: I came into the store to compare screen sizes for the new phone. Taran, immediately greeted me and asked me what he could help me with. I let him know that I was just comparing screen sizes and that I would be in next week to get the new phone. He knew which two phones to show me, but then said "But the screen on the iPhone won't be nearly as good as these because Apple is way behind the times." I was a bit taken aback by this because I had just told him that I was going to spend money in his store and he degraded the product that I was interested in purchasing. He then proceeded to argue product specifics, majority of which were incorrect. Now to the launch date: I arrived at the mall at 3:30a in order to ensure that I could get my hands on the new phone. I was the first person in line at this Verizon location. Around 5 minutes before the store opened a sales associate came out to have people start filling out paperwork for the new phone. He asked me which phone I wanted, and I informed him that i would like to look at the phones before making a decision, as did most of the people in line. He wouldn't let any of us look at the phones first and made us make a completely blind decision. I made my choice and proceeded into the store. Taran from the week prior was the first sales associate to help me that morning. He remembered me from our encounter the week prior, which I appreciated, but then he tried to sell me all sorts of things that I insisted that I didn't need (accessories, an iPad, Beats headphones, etc.). Then he finally rang me up for the phone. He then brought me to the setup table. The associates at the setup table were all fantastic, but when they opened the box, the phone was the wrong color. Needless to say this was upsetting. I had waited in line for 4 and a half hours, I definitely was going to leave with the right color. They let Taran know that he screwed up, but the exchange took him 30 minutes to complete. It then took an additional 30 minutes to activate my phone. What should have been a quick in and out turned into an hour long endeavor. The only reason I'm not giving this a one star review is because the associates at the setup table were really awesome (One of them I know was Caleb and the other was a guy with red hair, Brian maybe?). Another thing that really upset me was when they had me fill out the sales rep survey. I had noticed that all the other sales associates were giving out their business cards and insisting that if their customers have any questions that they call them personally. Taran gave me nothing. He just sold me the phone and moved on. A very greedy sales technique if you ask me. DO NOT let Taran help you, your experience will be awful. From what I can tell, everyone else at this location is helpful and genuine. read more

Replacing a phone can be kind of like buying a car. Sometimes you get the hard sell and pushy sales people but that is not what I experienced here. My previous phone was a little over 3 years old, had a cracked screen and the microphone was starting to give out so I went to Verizon to have it replaced. I'm on a family plan and we've been using Verizon for almost ten years now. Rich was more than helpful in helping pick the right phone for me. He was very polite, informative and patient. I ended up going with the 64gb iPhone 6 to replace my 32gb 5s. I also received a discounted case with my purchase to keep my phone safe. I was under the impression that they would buy my phone and proceeded to sign up. This deal was welched on because the manager nit picked about a tiny defect. This defect was was seen prior to me agreeing to sign up with Verizon and then removed by the manager. He was pretty rude about it and left me feeling played by a company I just decided to give my business to. Matt was the associate helping me and was very pleasant. Lee was the manager and will never go back to the store again because of him. I did follow through with signing up but started off on a very bad note. Shame on you lee. I'm giving the one star bc I can't give less . I had the phone for two weeks , took it back within the timeframe and paid the restocking fee and the guy working forgot to shut off my service . This was around 6 months ago. I haven't even had the phone , phone number or anything and they have continued to bill me and I just received a letter from a collections agency . I just took the bill into the same Verizon store and they told me they couldn't do anything and gave me the phone number for the collections office and told me to call them myself . Wow . Couldn't be more appalled with the lack of concern or service . I don't care if it's a 5$ bill or a 500$ bill, I'm not giving my hard earned money to someone I don't owe money too ! read more

I had a very positive experience at Verizon Wireless at Cherry Creek. I was not immediately acknowledged when I walked into the store as a girl was running around with an iPad in her hand to get around to everyone. The huge entrance at the store makes it somewhat confusing to know who to look for or where to go. Naturally, I waited at the counter until the girl with the iPad asked if I needed help. Everything after that went smooth. I forgot the name of the guy that helped me but struck up a conversation how all the employees were allowed to wear jeans and polos for the holidays and it made them happy. I have been to a couple Verizon stores and with the relaxed uniform, I noticed a more positive energy around the store. I'm glad I switched to Verizon as a mobile phone carrier. The service here was fast, thorough and polite. If you don't have Verizon yet, this store is a great starting point! read more

The employee said I don't think we have one, but why don't you just buy an ipad?? What? I asked why would I buy an ipad for a few hundred dollars if I need sim card for my phone? Worst experience I have ever had with customer service. Lost my phone on an airplane so went in to check out the sweet deal my mom just received from Verizon. A gentlemen named Malika or something close to that, told me I could open a phone and then later said I HAD TO BUY THE PHONE because it was already open. I spent many hours trying to figure out how to get the same deal my mother received and went 3 days over the 14 day return policy. I was told by 2 other locations that the managers are able to over ride it with a code 5 days after. This did not happen at this location. I just wanted to return my expensive unwanted phone and get my insurance covered phone. To add insult to injury the Manager whom I had to track down for a week to get answers on what they could give me to compensate all the time I had spent. He generously gave me $15 ( which is probably 10 cents an hour for the crap I went through). What I am trying to say is I really like Verizon but the cherry creek location is the worst customer service representative ever. Not considerate at all to the customers needs. I feel used, manipulated, downgraded and I WAS scammed. Not everyone that walks into cherry creek mall is made of money. read more
