When my name was finally called (after waiting for 15-20 minutes), the Spectrum Representative, Carlos, assisted me with my purchase. Carlos, whom I have dealt with on numerous visits here, was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. Carlos always provides GREAT customer service, and I truly appreciate his dedication to assuring that other customers and I leave the store happy with whatever they were here to do. Be it with cable or internet service, the purchase, or issues with cell phones and/or equipment returns, Carlos and all the other employees will always do their absolute best. The store is always clean and well-organized, with displays of a few of their products. Thank you for another positive shopping experience.

I had the pleasure of Alan Hernandez assisting me. He instantly connected with me and was so friendly, patient and knowlegable. I bought the wrong box (my router) in and was pretty embarrassed. Alan still sent me out with a new modem (yes, I promise to bring the old one back) with detailed instructions on installation. He pretty much sold me on switching my cellular service from AT&T to Spectrum. I am so grateful for people like Alan who can make such a difference! Keep up the great work =] On another note, our internet has worked flawlessly a week after installing the new modem. I'm very happy with the outcome. Thank you so much!

for the most part ive really enjoyed having them. granted,…read morei believe they treat their new customers much better than their long time customers (including those transitioned from verizon). ive been a customer for almost a year and ive had to call customer service and get in touch with high level support for a few issues. last year around christmas i was having a lot of issues with line quality and packet loss. after some back and forth i was assured that the congestion would be alleviated with the updating of their lines so it will never happen again. hasn't happened since. i believe them too since they've just now started offering upwards of 2Gbit/s! that definitely requires updates across the hubs, lines, and ONT. overall, the times that ive contacted customer support have been helpful and i do believe they work very hard to solve issues. otherwise the service is reliable for the most part, and i enjoy the fiber speeds! ive noticed now, however, that new customers get a mesh wifi set up :P. much better offers than when i signed up.

The woman working there told him rudely, "That's your problem." She told him to call the customer service number and figure it out himself. While calling customer service who kept him on hold for over 20 minutes, he then was able to get it taken care of over the phone with absolutely no help from the sales lady. He needed to use the restroom and asked her if they had one available. She rudely answered "No" even though there were men's and women's restrooms right behind her. My dad is a very nice man, but this woman profiled him based on his appearance. If you want someone to assist you who will treat you with courtesy and respect, don't come here. My dad normally goes to the other Boost location on Arrow Hwy and Azusa where the guy working there is kind and helpful, but he was unfortunately on lunch and this was the next closest one. Go to that Boost location. Don't come here.

The employee on the phone said it would be $9.99 and they could activate it in-store or I could call/go online to do it myself. The woman working in the Azusa store today told me it would be $60 total for the sim card and activation fee. After pushing back a bit since I was just told a much different price she said she doesn't have many sim cards and she needs them for the phones she sells in stores. However, she repeated that if I wanted to pay $60 she could sell me one. I decided to go down the street to the Boost in Covina on Arrow and they had the sim cards for $9.99 and activated my phone for free as company policy states. Seems a bit shady to try to upcharge so much when the sim card only costs $9.99 and activation is free. Not fair to try to rip off the community.

I ordered Spectrum home internet online and selected in-store pickup for my equipment. During my first visit, I was assisted by Steph. After reviewing my order, she told me I was picking up a modem, router, and a mobile hotspot. I explained that I had only ordered home internet and was not expecting or requesting a mobile hotspot. Despite my clarification, she repeatedly insisted that the hotspot was included with my plan. I became concerned when she asked to access the settings on my personal phone, stating that she needed my phone's serial number to activate the hotspot. I declined because I did not understand why my personal phone was needed to complete a home internet equipment pickup. At that point, I was told I would need to contact Spectrum and have my equipment shipped instead. Immediately after leaving the store, I called Spectrum Customer Care to verify what I had been told. The representative advised me that they were unfamiliar with the process described at the store and said my phone's serial number was not required to pick up or activate my home internet equipment. I returned to the store a second time and was assisted by Andrew. I explained what had happened during my previous visit. He initially told me that he would also have to set me up with a mobile hotspot. I then asked to speak with the store manager. Andrew responded that there was no manager available. When I asked for the manager's name, contact information, or when they would be working, he said he would try reaching another manager through the company's internal chat. After a brief exchange through the chat system, Andrew clicked a few buttons on his computer and handed me exactly what I had originally ordered--a modem and router, without a mobile hotspot. This demonstrated that the additional service was not required for me to receive my internet equipment. Based on my experience, I encourage customers to carefully review their orders and question any additional products or services they did not request. In my case, politely declining the unwanted service and asking to speak with a manager resulted in me receiving only the equipment I had originally ordered. I hope Spectrum reviews the sales practices at this location to ensure customers receive accurate information and are not pressured into accepting services they did not request.
