Carlos, whom I have dealt with on numerous visits here, was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. Carlos always provides GREAT customer service, and I truly appreciate his dedication to assuring that other customers and I leave the store happy with whatever they were here to do. I came to this store to trade in my modem. Our internet had been acting up and dreaded coming in. The store was very busy yet was called only a few minutes after signing onto the kiosk. I had the pleasure of Alan Hernandez assisting me. He instantly connected with me and was so friendly, patient and knowlegable. I bought the wrong box (my router) in and was pretty embarrassed. Alan still sent me out with a new modem (yes, I promise to bring the old one back) with detailed instructions on installation. He pretty much sold me on switching my cellular service from AT&T to Spectrum. I am so grateful for people like Alan who can make such a difference! Review for returning my equipment after terminating my Spectrum service. It was super fast and easy with their online appointment system. I arrived 15 min early and a minute later after checking in with their link, I got a text to go inside the store. Once inside, they took care of me immediately and the equipment return took less than 5 minutes. Fast and easy experience with no funny business! Unrelated to the particular store but I wanna rant about Spectrum: Was a Spectrum family previously at my old house and for 8 more years on my own account after I moved since that was the only good service available in my new home area at the time. Canceling my service took longer than I felt should on the phone... the agent on the phone kept talking to me and did all the typical sales guy talk to get me to stay. This yelp has taken me a minute to get to but definitely not passing up on the chance... I walked in as a T-Mobile customer looking for better service experience and lower monthly $$$ for cell service. I was helped by Carmen who seemed well informed, knew all the answers to my questions and she gave me an offer I couldn't refuse; A difference of $85.00 in comparison to what I was paying with T-Mobile for 2 lines/unlimited data along with WiFi service. As I expected, we were there for a long time doing cell phone info., setting up WiFi installation etc...etc... after everything was said and done, I thanked Carmen for her help and for giving me such a good deal. A few days later, l looked thru my Spectrum app., I had an upcoming balance due that was no different than what I was paying with T-Mobile. Ughhh!!! I immediately called Carmen at Spectrum to ask questions and get direct answers but she no longer worked there. ????!!!!! I suggest calling customer service-while at any spectrum location- to confirm prices any associate is stating they will deliver. This location is small, customers need to electronically check in as soon as they walk into store to receive any kind of service or you will stand/ or sit for hours. Parking is a challenge. No restrooms if you walk in with small kiddos. Not happy with this WiFi & cell bill situation at all, period. read more

We recently moved and continued our spectrum service. I was billed for the older router and was able to get a refund once I returned it. No big deal I thought just walk in and hand it over. BIG mistake. I recommend making an appointment online instead or you'll be waiting as if you were at the DMV. read more

I rarely call tech support but last night was the biggest joke ever!!! A cable channel kept freezing at 10pm. I called tech support and explained that this was isolated to 1 channel on all my boxes. Instead of just sending a signal to my cable box, the guy kept saying " our procedure is to send out a tech to check your box?" I told the guy I just needed a signal sent. He proceeded to say he detected a weak signal on one of my boxes, which was wrong as the TV had been working fine all day....After being forced to have a tech appointment, the channel came back to normal on its own. The tech did not have the common sense to realize it might be the channel not the cable? Pathetic service! The lights are on but no one knows anything! read more

Spectrum agreed to waive my activation fee when I returned after two weeks. It was a $30 fee. The credit never appeared on my statement even though the customer service representative said they got it approved by more than one manager. That should have been a red flag. I called back and they gave me a $20 credit on the next bill. So I still need to pay the $91 for the first bill. I basically paid for the two weeks that I didn't have service. I hadn't even returned the equipment. They lied to get me to return, and then cost me time having to try and get the credit. These are dishonest business practices. Then this lady who signed in after the man after me goes up to the counter asks if she can return her equipment. He says sure didn't ask her name or anything. There were 4 employees at the stations. 3 assisting one lady while we continue to wait. I kept looking up to see if someone was going to call me. Finally I get called up. No eye contact whatsoever from the employee helping me. Basically he was looking straight ahead then gives me a receipt. He didn't say anything so I wasn't sure if there was anything else I needed to do. No thank you have a nice day nothing. He Says your done I say oh okay thank you. Then as I was leaving they call that lady that was 3 rd in line that went ahead of me I don't think this system where you "sign in " is working these employees need to be trained on customer service. read more

Salesman offered a bundle of $151.50 for 4 wireless lines and 1G internet. Not brainer right? Transferred phones within 5 days at urging of salesman and got reimbursed for $600 to pay off phones at Verizon. Turned out they could not deliver Internet with a $5000 bill for me to install the service. I said no thank you. Spectrum could not deliver the promised bundle. So they changed my phone bill to $190/month due to lack of bundle. I canceled it and returned to Verizon. They billed me for the $600 reimbursement because I didn't keep the phones for 12 months even thought there was no contract for the phones. Couldn't deliver product, ran me around, terrible customer service. Their mistake cost me $600. read more

Without question, the worst customer service experience in recent memory. Over fifteen customers waiting and only three staff members working. Several customers complained about the self checkin kiosk not working and were told that an employee would be there to assist them. Unfortunately, that never happened. At minimum an apology/explanation for the extended wait time is owed to the customer affording them the opportunity to decide if they should continue waiting or return at a later time. I was scheduled for a service technician to arrive yesterday Monday 06/16 between 4pm to 5pm. And the technician never showed up and no one called me about any issue. I contacted the Spectrum customer service and they kept telling me the technician will be there in five to six minutes. It's was 9pm and the technician never showed up or called at all. When I was speaking to the customer service representative on the phone I told them that if the technician doesn't show up tonight the ONLY time that they will have is between 11 am to 1 pm today 06/17 only. Now they are saying that they can only show up between 4pm and 5pm today. We have been out of service for four days now and the Spectrum company messed up and I the customer is paying for it. The Spectrum company have been going down on service and getting worse. I will not recommend their service organization at all to anyone. read more

A salesman talked to my elderly mother during the day. While sometimes lonely, she still has her wits, and said she was explicit that she did not want to sign up for anything until talking over offers with one of her sons. I visited later that evening and she showed me his business card and the proposed rates. Later that evening she received an e-mail congratulating her on the new Internet service. I immediately texted the salesperson who said he would cancel the order. He didn't. They sent the hardware within a couple of weeks, which I drove over to their store. The woman who processed the return could not be less thrilled. Three years ago, I thought about signing my mother up for Spectrum after my father had passed. I asked the saleswoman if there were any additional fees. She insisted that of course there were no other fees. Then the e-mail came: There was a $50 installation fee. I cancelled. I was a Version customer, but when Frontier acquired the lines in the area, the service became terrible. A friend suggested Spectrum to me, and I signed up. I have been a customer now for 7 to 10 years I don't remember. I was always happy with Spectrum, and I suggested them to my parents. They have had good service for years as well. Lately their phone and internet keep going out. They have had Spectrum there 5 or more times that I know of to repair it. They fix it for a day or so and it goes out. Spectrum has replaced everything in their house as well as outside Ron Martinez has even talked my parents into replacing all their outlets in the computer room. When I asked if it could be an issue with the area, he told me "No, no one else has had issues on their street". Strangely several of their neighbors have complained of service issues as well. My parents are 85 and 86, and have been married for 52 years, in January a doctor accidentally punctured my mom's intestines twice in a so-called outpatient surgery. For the last 5 months my mother has been fighting for her life and my father is scared as hell as you can imagine. The phones have been a lifeline to the hospital for my father to check on my mother and to take calls as her condition changes. They need those phones. Less importantly they are paying for a service from Spectrum that has been failing during these trying times. Spectrum we need a solution, real service, and competence. We need it now! read more

my Frontier internet went down for a few days and we use Spectrum for cable. Went into the Glendora store to exchange a cable box and got sucked into trying their internet for only $50 per month versus my cost paid to Frontier for $89. they said it was free for 30 days. Just got my bill and there it is a charge for $51.25 for internet. I am on hold trying to ask why. DONT USE SPECTRUM and don't believe their selling point for using their service. AND, don't believe it when they say something is free, it isnt, and now i am hold for 22 minutes disputing this charge. They claim that i called for service to install the new internet.....LIES. now they say since i didnt cancel before my billing statement came out, i would be charged for internet, which was only with us for 15 days.
