My phone broke while I was in Chicago on a Monday night with my flight at 8 am Tuesday so I traveled back to Foco without a phone and went to the first Verizon store I knew of. Will was helping me and he was horrible I explained my situation multiple times and it took almost two hours to get a new phone with him constantly trying to upsell me (my battery crapped out and my phone that broke was only one year old and 8 days outside of my one year warranty) he kept telling me about promos and I kept politely declining because I just needed a working phone after traveling. Turns out even though I declined promos like a Netflix and HBO combo I still got charged for them, he didn't listen to a word I said and was just trying to make money. Very disappointed I'll be continuing to go to the Verizon store off of college ave they have never disappointed me there and Will at this location doesn't care about what the customer wants, he just wants to make commission. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! They charged us $$ and refused to refund after THEIR ERROR!!! If I could give this store no stars I would. We went to set up Verizon internet with them. They connected our internet to some random number that then was connected to someone else's account. When we went to try to fix it we were told we could only make changes through the corporate verizon store. Went to corporate Verizon store and they told us this store had never actually set up the equipment they gave us and that we had to go cancel our order through this location since they had messed it up so badly. After not actually helping us set up anything we were told they could not refund us our set up fee. After spending multiple hours here trying to figure out the mess they created, we we not refunded any money and were given the run around by multiple employee the manager being worst of all. First of all, I've been with Verizon for ten years. I went to trade in my phone for the iPhone 16 and wife's phone for the S24. They took like 4 hours and what happened was I was promised $800 dollars for the S24 on the welcome plan, but the promotion was $200, ergo they lied to us or they were misinformed after the fact. Kevin was the salesmen and he messed up. He won't return my calls do not go to him,if he's still there. Jason is the manager and he seemed polite and knowledgeable, but he said he would take care of it but he didn't. I went there twice and it was actually still not done. I had to call customer service multiple times but to no avail. I'm probably gonna leave Verizon because of this. read more

When most Verizon stores were closed for walk-in service because of Covid, I was happy to find that GoWireless was open. I always go to Verizon's Wireless stores and had never used a Verizon Authorized Retailer before so I was a little weary but the employee there assured me that there was no difference. The employee was nice and helpful. However, she did say that the $40 activation fee was being waived for a short period of time during Covid, so she would have me pay it and then I would see a credit for it on my next bill. When that credit did not come on the next bill, I called Verizon and they said she was not supposed to charge me for it - it was waived entirely so it was a struggle to get them to give me back the $40. I went there again a few days ago and the service was fine again. Although I just needed a simple SIM card transfer and the guy looked at my like I was crazy for not knowing that was the simple fix to the problem. The first time I went, there was only one employee working and I had to wait about 15 minutes for her to finish with someone else. I was sure it had to be due to covid- limited staffing, limited hours, etc. However, when I went the other day, there was still only one employee working. I was second in line and the lady in front of me was talking the employee's ear off with completely irrelevant things, making the rest of us wait in line while she went on with her nonsense. I waited in like for about 25 minutes before being helped. They definitely need at least two employees working the same shift. read more

I went in to upgrade my iPhone 5 and the salesperson convinced me to switch to the Samsung phone for free because they had a trade-in $200 promotion as long as my phone was worth $20. I agreed to these terms and the manager hooked me up with a brand-new Samsung S7 phone which I was very happy with. A few weeks later, I got a call from the NEW manager who said that I could save money on the phone that I recently upgraded too. Oh boy! It turns out the the old manager charged me full retail price for the phone. The new manager took off $100 of the full price but I still felt slighted because he promised me $200 off. I told her about the story and she told me that she'd take care of it for me. She emailed me to stay in touch but I didn't hear anything after a couple of months. Completely ignoring me. I reached out to Verizon customer support to tell them what happened and they gave me a $50 credit to help me out. Then I looked more closely at my bill, only to realize that they charged me three separate $30 upgrade charges! They only refunded me two of those charges. Overall, I was promised a free upgrade and to pay for a phone at $472 for my iPhone 5. But paid $572 for the phone with $30 for the upgrade fee. It's cases like this that make my head shake. Verizon is a multi-billion corporation but can't give me a break on a measly $200. It's instances like this that make people want to switch to the non-big mobile companies. I can't wait until my contract is over so I can switch to Google Fiber. read more

My iPhone 6 sent in for repair for 10 days. Asked to reactivate mom's iPhone 4 for 10 days was told the towers support 3g through 2020 but they won't reactivate a 3g not even for 10 days. They offered to sell me a new phone though. To cover 10 days repair time. Ha. Asked to speak with manager. Jason gave me the used car salesman pressure sale. Large fellow and intimidating like a club bouncer. Great customer service haha. I leave store. And cut ties with Verizon. read more

This place is a rip-off shack. It is a broker of Verizon wireless, it isn't an official store. Both my wife and I recently upgraded, bottom line, she did hers at an actual Verizon store whereas I did it here. We did the EXACT same upgrade. Hers cost $97 but mine cost $230, which was mostly contributed to BS fees & a "sales tax" applied to a phone that was zero dollars. This place is a rip-off joint. I have read a lot of bad reviews about Verizon in general--stores, customer service, etc. I went into this store a couple of days ago to switch to Verizon, and it was so easy. I went in at a good time because I had to wait for only one customer before me, but the sales associate was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Getting my new phone up and running was seamless. The only glitch I had was not having the correct account number from my previous carrier, but the customer service rep I got on the phone made it a snap to get that and switch it over. I have been so happy with my service and phone so far. The only reason I didn't give the store 5 stars is because if there had been more customers there at the time, I would have had to wait a really long time. I know it happens to some, so maybe there should be a number system so you can leave & return, or something. No complaints about the customer service. read more

The red headed woman at the front desk was absurdly rude. She did not greet us and seemed bothered that she had to get off her phone and help us. She was unwilling to help us when we needed a new phone. I did not have the 4 digit pin code needed when i had every other single piece of information about my account and would not help us until she had the code. We left in utter disbelief that a store could be run so poorly. It's no wonder they only have 1 star. I would have given them 0 if it were possible. Never going in there again. read more

These people are a joke. I went in because I was eligible for an upgrade, they told me they had to charge me a $20 fee to transfer my contacts, pictures, videos, etc. from my old phone to my new phone and they did not transfer ANYTHING!!! Had my phone for 10 days and the lock/power button (iPhone 5c) will stop working off and on and they told me I had to pay a $50 restocking fee to exchange it. PAY TO EXCHANGE A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!?!?!?! What a joke. This place doesn't know what customer service is. I ultimately get stuck with a defective phone for the next 2 years because I refuse to pay to exchange a defective product.
